My favorite holiday in the United States is Christmas. I have many good memories of Christmas when I was a boy growing up in Colorado. Every Christmas, our family would go to the mountains to find a nice, big evergreen tree and bring it home to decorate in our living room. I d to sit in the dark and watch the Christmas tree lights twinkle with the snow falling outside. Christmas was a time when our relatives got together and invited friends over for parties. We d to eat many holiday foods chocolate fudge, popcorn balls and pumpkin pie. Sometimes a group of singers would come by our house and sing Christmas songs while we listened. On Christmas morning my family would enjoy exchanging Christmas gifts. It was a happy time for me.

I have been traveling to many different places, but the one I miss most was when I was traveling in Da Lat. I am extremely excited. On arrival, my father and I were picked up by a relative of my family. We will stay at their house. Early in the morning, my father and I went to eat noodle soup. After we ate it, we went to the houses of a few acquaintances before we started visiting this place. I have been able to visit La An, Love Valley, Absolutely Tinh Coc, … Da Lat is really beautiful. Gentle beauty like a girl. The cool air here makes me extremely excited. Usually people come here with their lovers but being with my dad is also a great experience for me. Dad took me very nice pictures. In the afternoon, Dad and I went to a strawberry garden together. Here the berries are still on the tree and we will pick them. Looking at the juicy red strawberries I just wanted to eat it right away. If you come to Da Lat, you cannot miss the night market here. The market scene with different colored lights will make you overwhelmed. The reason I always remember this trip is because while out at the night market I got lost. Because there were so many people, my dad and I couldn’t find each other. It took him 30 minutes for Dad to find me. Whenever he had time, he would take me to Dalat to play. I love Dalat very much.

During the summer vacations, almost everyone is allowed to travel, and so do I. Last year I went to Nha Trang beach. It was much more interesting than I expected. So this year, my family decided to change the destination, we went to Sam Son beach. It's very beautiful! in the morning we go for a walk around the beach, in the afternoon we swim in the beach and when it gets dark we go to entertainment areas to have fun!

One of the most important festival in Vietnam is Tet holiday, which occurs around January or February. Cuisine is also a highlight when talking about Vietnam. My country still has many things that wait for you to explore.

When I was 5 years old I had a pleasant experience. That was when my grandparents went home to play, so careless I got lost. At first I didn’t even know I was lost. I always love to go out with my family, and going to Dam Sen theme park was one of my favorite event. We went there in the early in the morning to get the ket because it was weekend. Once we got inside the park, we started to follow the map to visit everywhere. First, we bought some snacks and drinks to eat on the way, then we sat down near the lake to have a small picnic. Next, we joined in the playground section to play many different interesting games. My sister, my father and I decided to went inside the haunted house while my mother stood outside. I screamed as loud as I could, and I ended up having a sore throat. Later we got on the roller coaster, the racing cars and rode the fake bulls. Most of the time my mother just stood outside and kept our belongings, but sometimes she also joined some easy games as well. We left the park in the evening, and it was such a great day to create memories with my family.

My house is located in a small quiet alley. That’s a pretty pink house which consists of 6 rooms in totally: a living room, a kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom and two bedrooms. There are a white leather sofa, a television and a sideboard in the living room. After dinner, my father will turn on the television, choose a great movie and we watch it happily. Next to the living room is the kitchen where is used for cooking and enjoying the meals. In the middle of the room is a dinner table which is made from wood. Three cookers, a refrigerator and all the neccesary stuff for cooking is arranged carefully in the right corner of the room. In the left of the kitchen is a clean toilet. Beside the toilet is the bathroom which is equipped a shower and a bathtub. There are only two rooms upstairs that is my parents’ room and my private room. I’ve decorated my bedroom with adorable wallpaper and many lovely stuffed animals. A single bed is placed next to the window so that I can stargaze before falling asleep. In the opposite of the bed are my desk and my bookshelf that contain many kinds of book. There are also an old television and a piano in my bedroom. I especially love the piano because that was the gift from dad in my birthday. In every Christmas or Tet holiday, all member of my family ornament the house together and then gather in the kitchen to cooking. Although my house is not too big but to me that is the most beautiful house in the world.
