An avalanche is a geophysical hazard involving a slide of a large snow or rock mass down a mountainside, caused when a buildup of material is released down a slope, it is one of the major dangers faced in the mountains in winter. As avalanches move down the slope they may entrain snow from the snowpack and grow in size. The snow may also mix with the air and form a powder cloud. An avalanche with a powder cloud is known as a powder snow avalanche. The powder cloud is a turbulent suspension of snow particles that flows as a gravity current.

How many lives were lost? We'll never know.
For other disaters,(HISTORY)__historians ____ can at least make estimates. The following 11 disaters are the deadliest for which reasonably accurate (DIE)___death __ toll exist. The lesson? While the chaos of a natural disater can mean exact numbers are hard to come by, earthquakes and floods are the disaters most likely to kill large swaths of the population.

Ha Tinh is a disaster-prone province in the central of Viet Nam. Since the beginning of 2015, this province has experienced three massive floods, causing devastating property damage. The floods razed thousands of homes, damaged numerous irrigation works, roads, schools and healthcare centres. Ms. Nga Tran is my aunt, a local resident, recalled the last flood, she said that the flood in June was normal, but the one in September was awful. Water from Ngan Pho River began to submerge the floor, while outside it was still raining heavily. After a while the water was about one meter. She was had no choice but to climb up to the attic and stay there for two days. Like many other residents, all of her furniture was covered in mud, some was completely damaged for having been soaked in the water for too long. But what worried her most was the loss of her rice crop. Three months after the flood, lots of farmers still struggled with finding enough food to eat. If there is no aid from the government, the situation in this province will get worse.

1. Air pollution
Air pollution is a most serious problem of the current time all over the world especially in the large cities because of the huge level of industrialization. The release of such air pollutants in heavy concentrations such as smog, particulates, solid materials, etc are getting settled over the city, causing air pollution and health hazards to the people. Lots of dirty wastes produced by people on daily basis especially in the big cities polluting the whole atmospheric air to a great extent.
The release of gaseous pollutants from burning fuel of motor vehicles, industrial processes, burning of garbage, etc are contributing to the air pollution. Some natural pollutants like pollen, dust, soil particles, natural gases, etc are also the source of air pollution.

2. Natural disaster
Today, I’d like to tell you about a flood which hit my province, Nghe An, when I was 14 years old.
The flood came after a violent rainstorm. It had been predicted as the biggest flood in history so people had prepared a lot before the flood struck.
You know, at that time, the weather in Nghe An was terrible. It had rained for almost a month.
People had folded and rolled up their furniture, and electrical appliances and other belongings to higher places.
We had also brought outside possessions indoors or tied them down.
Shops had been opened all day and all night for people to buy essential things such as noodles, water or medicine.
When water in rivers and lakes rose up above the normal level and flowed into the land, electricity was cut.
My family and I worked hard to find bricks, stones, and sand bags in order to dam the water that flooded our house.
During the entire week of that event, we were not able to go out of the house.
All the roads were cut off and we did not have running water or phones. Some people had to climb up the roofs as the water from the river flooded their houses very quickly.
They had to sit on the roofs with their families and some of the things that they had been able to bring along until a rescue party came to help them.
They had to use boats instead of cars or walking.
After the flood, there was mud everywhere and water was all polluted. People were sick.
Many houses were damaged, castles were swept away and the prices of essential goods were much higher because of increasing demand.
People cleared up the debris. Volunteers came to help build up houses and clean up furniture.
It was such a long nightmare.

Flood is one of the most dangerous natural disasters. It happens when excessive water is collected in any area. It usually happens due to heavy rainfall. Central Vietnam is highly prone to flood, and the people living here have to suffer from a lot of difficulties and losts. The supply of food and goods also gets limited during floods. Recently, the 2020 Central Vietnam floods have caused mass destruction. In October and early November 2020, central Vietnam got struck by three floods, four storms and a series of landslides that claimed 159 lives and left 71 missing. Not only the government but also many people from various cities did many ways to support Central Vietnam. Some afforestation projects have been carried out to prevent the future damage of flood. Trees absorb and store rainwater, which reduce runoff and sediment deposit after storms. Further, there should be an efficient system for storing excessive water due to rain. I hope in the future, the consequences of flood will be less and less.

Tropical cyclones are rapidly rotating storm systems characterized by a center of low pressure, strong winds and a spiral cloud structure that produces heavy rain. lots of homes. The bigger the storm, the more loss of life and property. Storms often break trees and damage homes. A hurricane with a tornado can sweep people and houses away, break trees, cause crop damage, and cause accidents to planes and boats. Therefore, we must take timely measures to prevent storms, we must resist our house carefully, so we can prevent a little hảm from storm.
