Nowadays, large cities are becoming more and more inhabited. The majority of the population prefer living in a big town mainly because of the great advantages it has compared to living in the countryside. However, what are the benefits of this situation, and what are the drawbacks? In this essay, I will explore the pros and cons of living in a large city and try to draw some conclusions.

Let’s start looking at the advantages. One of the main positives of a big town is the large amount of shops available in every corner of the city. What I mean by this is that whenever you live, there are some useful stores supermarkets, banks, tobacconists and clothing stores where you can easily buy everything you need without going to the city center. Secondly, living in a big town is a big challenge for evening parties. In London, for example, there are so many things to do in the evenings going to the cinema, to the pub or to the park during the summer period.

Turning to the other side of the argument, traffic could be one of the major disadvantages of living in a big city. Many people take the car everyday and it has also been proved that the majority of the families have at least two cars. This means that you have to deal with rush-hour traffic on your way to work and on your way back. In addition, in a big town there is consequently a lot of smog and this can really affect people’s health.

To sum up, living in a big city has great advantages but also some significant negatives. You have to weigh up to the pros of enjoying evenings’ nights outside and the availability of many shops and the cons of cope with smog and traffic issues. Personally, I believe that the benefits of enjoying the city-life and the comfort of having shops at every corner, eventually overweigh the negatives.

Living in a big city is difficult, but it also has many benefits. The benefit is that we will have a more modern and our living space. There will be restaurants big enough for us to interact and party as we please without being disturbed. But through that there are also many limitations or on the other hand called the difficulty of living in the city. There are a lot of difficulties like not being able to find a favorable long-term job while in the city leading to unemployment. There is a lot of street smog, especially atmospheric pollution, ... If you want to live in the city there will be many beneficial and harmful sides. In the countryside, the conditions will not be like the city, but still have a fully equipped life, but not many difficulties.

Nowadays, more and more people choose to live in the city. In this essay, I will discuss about the advantages and disadvantages of living in the city.

It can't be denied that living in the city has many benefits. First of all, if we live in the city, we will have many chances get the developing science and technology. It means that we will have more job opportunities and broaden our knowledge more easily. Secondly, we will have many different ways to spend our free time. There are a lot of theatres, concerts and other kinds of entertainment. There is always a lot to do and visit There are a lot of possibilities of shopping. In various shopping centres and galleries you can buy whatever you want. What is more, a big city is a potential market for trading activities, so we can earn more money to provide our family a comfortable life

Besides advantages, living in the city brings to us a lot of disadvantages. Firstly, a problem about which everyone is worrying is environment. The increase of factories based on industrialization and modernization has severely polluted environment. Smoke from factories' chimneys not only pollutes the air but also makes people get many serious cancers. Sewage is bumped into rivers without being purged, which threatens underwater ecosystems. The second drawback of living in the city is society's vices such as drug addiction. Young people. especially the students, are easily spoiled by bad habits. If people use up all the money, they can't control themselves and even become robbers or murders. Moreover, a problem that many people living in the city have is heartlessness. With some people, it's not worth being worried and it has no effect on our life, people are too busy to care for any others. But if more and more people become heartless, the society will be worse, no one cares another one, they live boring lives, every purposes became meaningless, without love, sympathy and many other good things.

There are good things as well as bad thing of living in the city. However, I strongly believed that advantages outweigh disadvantages. If people know how to live and enjoy their life, living in the city is one of the most interesting things that people want to experience.

I strongly support the use of personal electronic devices in learning because we can’t miss its definite advantages.First of all, they can be used for both research and study purpose. Students can access Internet to download data and store information and textbooks, which save amounts of money for paper books and time. This also means their backpacks are lighter but contain bigger data.Secondly, modern technology tools improve their study results because of a wide variey of useful learning applications on smartphones, laptop, tablets and other media players such as dictionary, spelling, translation, pronunciation and other apps. These apps are not boring but exciting them with colorful designed-courses, funny methods and attractive contents. Furthermore, students can study any time, anywhere as long as their devices are connected to Internet. Last but not least, smartphones help students communicate with each other or relax by listening to music and playing games when they are bored or tired of studying. All types of entertainment are now combined in a small portable equipment, which is convenient for the owners to relax anywhere. In conclusion, personal electronic devices bring more benefits than harm to students. I suggest that teachers allow and encourage the use of these devices in learning both inside and outside of class.

Energy is very important in our daily life. We use energy for almost everything we do. However energy is limited. We should do the following things to save energy. Firstly, we should use electricity more efficiently. Secondly, we had better reduce our electricity bills. Besides, it’s necessary to turn off the lights when leaving a room or before going to bed to save energy. Moreover, we ought to reduce the use of fossil fuels. Vietnam have a lot of natural beauty. Ha Long Bay is located in northeast Vietnam, is part of the west coast Bac Bo bay. My feeling about Ha Long Bay was first to see firsthand the magical beauty that nature has bestowed to Vietnam is similar to what I learned about through books and television: Ha Long bay is really beautiful and sexy. Ha Long Bay as a huge picture wearing extremely lively. That's the beautiful art works, the flowers of creation, of nature turn thousands of islands senseless silence became quite sculpture, painting with all our perfect appearance, charm, just very familiar just as alien to human beings. Thousands of islands bobbing on the waves of shimmering, majes both strong but also very soft and graceful, lively. Ha Long bay is beautiful, but would be nicer, more roman if colored by the sentiments of respect and love for visitors to the bay. You and I, we have the owner just as tourists, we get together to preserve the precious gift that nature has bestowed favor for the country of Vietnam. Ha Long bay is the wonder in the world. Ha Long bay-my love.

Last summer, my family and I had a trip to Dalat, which was dubbed as the land of fog. We came to Da Lat by bus because we wanted to visit the scenery along the way. Dalat appeared as a city in the clouds, and we spent all our time here to visit famous places. We visited Bao Dai Palace - the residence of the last king of the Nguyen Dynasty with his family. The whole architecture was is European style, and there were a lot of beautiful flowers which were planted around the Palace. The ground floor was the place for meetings, banquets, greeting foreign guests and government officials. Bao Dai's office, library, games room were also located there. In the office there was a huge portrait of King Bao Dai and Prince Bao Long - who was chosen as the successor of the throne. The entire second floor was the resting place of the royal family, including bedrooms of the king, queen, and their children. There was also a place for the king and queen to watch the moon called the Moon Tower. The next place that we visited was Mount Langbiang, where there was a legend about a love story between a girl called Biang and her lover Lang. Their love was forbidden by their families, so they chose to die in order to stay together forever. Next, we were brought to the top of the Radar hill by a Jeep; from the top of the hill we can see Dalat from above through a dim layer of fog. In the distance were the Golden and Silver streams, and they were like two strips of silk that ran across the forest. After 3 days of exploring Dalat, we finally had to go back home. The clouds and fog in the city still lingered in my mind, and I could not wait for my next visit to Da Lat.

The first point, there're many things in city, you can search simple things or luxurious things. There're many kinds of telecom service, for example: internet stations, cell phone offices, telephone offices, post offices, and so forth; there're many kinds of transport service, ex: taxi, airplane, train, motorbike taxi, and so on; there're many different services, for example: beauty salons, good hospitals, good universities, foreign language schools, coffee bars, supermarkets, book stores, and they're always near your house. Now, all the factories aretransferring from city out to suburb, so the pollution will reduce. The next point, there're much foods, all the good foods in the world have been occurred in city. Especially in VN, you can eat everything, anywhere, from roadsides to the luxurious restaurants. Finally, if you aren't lazy, you can earn money easily in city where there are many jobs and many contacts waiting for you. You see, the millions people of countryside are migrating to city. Among of them, they have become the billionaires. In short, there is anything in city which is best convenience. Why don't you test to live in city? You'll agree with me completely.
