I am a volunteer so I have done many things for the community service. Last month, I raised money and funds for the poor, and they were very hapy. I also donated books and clothes for the children. Last week, I provided houses and food for the homless, and they looked very happy, too. So far, I , and my classmates, have planted trees and beautiful flowers in the school yard. It was so great. I have collected the rubbish on the beach and in the sea then I recycle them. It helps protectthe environment. And I, together with my family, often go to the hospital to help every one there. They are so freindly and they seem very happy when they see us. Volunteering is very good and special to me 'cause I can help others. I 'll do more in the future.

I love to go to school. When I have a holiday I miss school. I go to school with my friends, and we enjoy biking down together. My school is two kilometers away from home. I wake up early in the morning to go to school as classes begin at quarter past seven every day.
I find my school uniform very smart. The uniform is a white shirt and a blue skirt with a black belt and blue tie. And to go with it is a pair of white socks and black shoes. The teachers are strict about our uniform being neat and spotlessly clean. At the assembly the students, all together, look very neat and well turned out.
At school I learn many new things each day. There are many subjects that are taught to us like languages, mathematics, science and social studies. We also have interesting co-curricular activities that help us learn better. We also go on educative excursions.
There are a number of extra-curricular activities also that are offered to us. We are afforded opportunities to participate in various sports, music, dance, theatre and art events. These are fun activities that also help us develop our hobbies.

I don't like eating fast food like hamburgers, fried chicken and french fries. These dishes not only taste delicious but are also beautifully decorated. Besides, they are very popular and can be bought easily everywhere. However, according to recent scientific studies, the consumption of these foods can cause many dangerous diseases, especially obesity and heart disease. What's more, additives in fast food can cause cancer. Therefore, I don't like to eat them.

We are trying to find solutions to environmental pollution problem. People should stop cutting trees for timber, Instead, they should plant more trees and forests. They should reduce using cars and motorbikes that cause noise and air pollution. We should prevent farmers from using fertilizers and pesticides that damage the soil. People should not litter on the land and in the water. We should prohibit factories from dumping industrial wastes into rivers and lakes. It is high time governments over the world had measures that require companies and individuals to stop or cut down on polluting activities.

On a hot summer night, while I was engrossed in reading a book on the porch, suddenly the sky darkened. The wind whistled violently, bringing with it broken tree branches and deafening thunder. Everything around wobbled as if about to collapse. In a moment of panic, I rushed into the house for shelter. Immediately after that, a torrential rain poured down, as if it wanted to wash everything away. The sound of rushing rain and rumbling thunder mixed together to create a horrifying sound. Lightning flashed continuously, tearing through the dark night. The intense rain lasted for more than an hour. When the weather cleared, I stepped outside and saw the scene of devastation around me. Trees fell, roofs blew off houses, and streets were flooded with water. Everyone hurriedly cleaned the house, everyone's face showed concern. That strange event left an indelible impression on me. It shows me the destructive power of nature and makes me appreciate the peaceful life I have today.
