The world is currently very developed, which means that science and technology are very developing,they play an important part in our life now .They have a lot of advantages. Because they are so useful. They work remotely, even when you're in another part of the world. You can communicate verbally, video, audio and exchange other media. All websites, applications and software have been created to help users socialize. Social media, texting, texting, laptops, tablets, and cell phones mean no one needs to feel isolated in the digital world. Users can be regularly updated with news about local events and social developments. We can also learn through technology. Anyone with access to the internet today can access a huge amount of the world's knowledge through the web. Alternatively, lessons and courses can now be offered virtually online. Online social media or playing computer and mobile games is becoming more and more popular. Traditional media also developed, as television and broadcasting were digitized along with radio. It has many benefits, but it also has disadvantages. Nowadays, there are a lot of young people who are interacting too much with internet devices, and can easily watch bad programs, programs like those are not good for them. Nobody can deny the benefits of the Internet in our life. However, it is a pity for me (25) _______ for most of my friends in the countryside. Nowadays almost everyone in the world has contacted with computers. A great part of them has been using the international conputer's net known as Internet. Nobody can deny the important of the Internet to our daily life. However, the Internet has its own advantages and disadvantages.
On one hand, Internet is a big global store of information. You can find many kinds of information which is available on the Internet by some popular searching engines, such as: google.com, yahoo.com,etc. It helps us to communicate with other people around the world easier. The lastest news is always updated on the Internet,too. And it is also a means of education. We can learn foreign language, look up information or take online courses. It is almost an unlimited source of education materials for you to get.
But on other hand. Internet is harmful to our health: Some people spend too much time searching and playing on the Internet which is not good for our brains and eyes. It is not only time- consuming but also destroy relationship because it interferes with family life and communication. And the viruses can spread rapidly and infiltrate systems; destroy data, software of computer. They can attack to your privacy and get some information about you.
In a word, besides learning and entertaining on some websites on the Internet, we also need to limit the time and content that can be accessed to create a secure virtual enviroment.

The Internet plays an important role in our modern life. However, every coin has two sides and we can find out pros and cons of the internet by my following provement.
The Internet is a breakthrough in developing technology. It brings us wonderful advantages. First, education is more and more improved due to appearance of the internet. Students can learn and look for basic knowledge online without spending too much time in the libarary. This leads to the fact that it is very convenient for both teachers and students to broaden their perception. Second, the internet shorten the distance of people even though they are very far from each other. Skype or Yahoo are good ways for them to contact and have fun. It is true to say that distance is not a big problem in such a developing technology world. Third, the internet makes everything easier and faster. For example, we can send or receive documentary through email for a short time wwhile 10 years ago, we need to wait foe 3 or 4 days to send to a far distence.
On the other hand, the internet also has drawbacks. People especially teenager are easily involved in computer games. They take so much time to sit in front of the screen to play games. This doesn't only affect to their health but it also decrease the amount of money which their parents earn by hard works. They can't understand that money doesn't grow on tree. Moreover, the internet prevents them from taking part in outdoor activities beacause of the internet's attraction. This will slowdown socal skills and cause their inconfidence .
In a word, the inetrnet is one of the most wonderful inventions in the world. However, it also causes trobles in our life. Thus, we should use it in moderate

5. Talk about your favourite sport
I would like to talk about a sport that I particularly enjoy and have been practising for a few years. It is basketball. For me, this is not only a sport or a physical exercise but also an ideal way for me to relieve of stress and to make new friends.
I first knew about basketball when I was a little kid through a video game called NBA 2k8. However, at that time I did not play badminton at all, partly because I was not an active kid who was aware of the critical importance of physical exercises. When I went to high school, a lot of my friends were a big fan of basketball and my high school offered big playgrounds for sports activities, therefore I practised basketball much more often.
I usually play basketball in the weekends and watch NBA on the nights when my favorite team, the Los Angeles Lakers play. I often go to sports centres with a number of my classmates for basketball matches. Sometimes we even participate in local league, didn’t accomplish anything big but it was extremely fun.
For me, basketball is a good way to help me pursue a healthy lifestyle. It is also an affordable type of sport as you do not have to buy a lot of specialised sports materials. Finally, playing basketball enables me to develop a number of important and non-academic skills such as discipline, team-work, problem-solving and co-operation.
