Hello, my name is Hai Dang, I was born and raised in Dich Vong Ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi City. As you all know, Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam over thousands of years of history. Hanoi has many beautiful landscapes such as Ba Dinh square, Ho Guom or Long Bien bridge. There are also many famous historical sites such as Quoc Tu Giam, One Pillar Pagoda, museums. Coming to Hanoi, you will enjoy many famous delicacies such as bun cha, banh com, walking around the street and enjoying the aromatic smell of the milky flower, admiring the rows of purple tombs. My hometown is very friendly and hospitable, so if I have the opportunity to invite you to come and play in Hanoi.

Current mood: I'm so sad!

My parents set a time for me to come home in the evenings. They expect me to be at home at 9 o'clock. I have asked them to give me a later curfew as i want to spend more time with my friends but they don't agree. Last Sunday night, i went to my friend's house to attend a birthday party. The party was so great that i forgot the curfews. My parents were very angry and kept calling me to go home. They said that if i didn't come back home right away, they would go to my friend's house and pick me up. So I had to say goodbye to my friends even though I didn't want to. My parents are too strict. It was a birthday party and they can give me more time to spend with my friends. I wish that my parents would allow me to stay out until 10 o'clock in the evenings. I want my parents to change curfew with me. How can i make my parents change their mind?

Cần sự giúp đỡ của các bạn ạ.

Exercise 2.

Two students were asked about their hobbies and here is what they said.

Lien: Cooking is my favorite hobby. My grandmother taught me how to cook my first dish when I was 8. My family enjoyed it so much so that is when I started this hobby. Some people say cooking is a waste of time but I find this hobby very interesting and meaningful. I really love trying new food and cooking for my family. The feeling of making my family happy with my food is amazing. I often collect recipes from my mother and my grandmother. Sometimes I also get recipes from the internet. Then I write them in a notebook. I hope I will become a good chef and have my own cookery book in the future.

Cuong: I have an unusual hobby: carving eggshells. I started this hobby four years ago after getting a carved egg from my dad when he came back from Japan. It's amazing that something as fragile as an empty eggshell can be made into such a beautiful piece of art. I was so amazed that I learned how to carve them myself from the internet. I find carving eggshells a little difficult but so interesting and useful. The feeling of accomplishment when I finish a piece is absolutely awesome. This hobby also helps me be more patient and careful.
