There are six rooms in my house – one living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and one kitchen. Among the rooms, my bedroom is the smallest but also the prettiest one. My parents allow me to decorate it on my own, so I put everything that I love into it. The walls have a sweet pink color, and I hang a lot of pictures of me, my family and my friends in a corner. The bed is not very big, and the bed sheets as well as pillows all have light pink color. There is a thick rug in my room, and I usually sit right on the floor to read books or playing video game. Opposite the door is a small table, and next to it is a big window so I can get the light. Near my bed is a tall wardrobe that I use to hang my clothes, and right next to it is a smaller closet that I store some other things. My room really matches my personality, and I love spending time there.

My house is located in a small quiet alley. That’s a pretty yellow house which consists of 6 rooms in totally: a living room, a kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom and two bedrooms. There are a white leather sofa, a television and a sideboard in the living room. After dinner, my father will turn on the television, choose a great movie and we watch it happily. Next to the living room is the kitchen where is used for cooking and enjoying the meals. In the middle of the room is a dinner table which is made from wood. Three cookers, a refrigerator and all the necessary stuff for cooking is arranged carefully in the right corner of the room. In the left of the kitchen is a clean toilet. Beside the toilet is the bathroom which is equipped a shower and a bathtub. There are only two rooms upstairs that is my parents’ room and my private room. I’ve decorated my bedroom with adorable wallpaper and many lovely stuffed animals. A single bed is placed next to the window so that I can stargaze before falling asleep. In the opposite of the bed are my desk and my bookshelf that contains many kinds of book. There are also an old television and a piano in my bedroom. I especially love the piano because that was the gift from dad in my birthday. In every Christmas or Tet holiday, all member of my family ornament the house together and then gather in the kitchen to cooking. Although my house is not too big but to me that is the most beautiful house in the world.

I have a closest friend and her name is Mary. She is twelve years old and she is a student at Le Loi secondary school. I have a bestfiend and also a neighborhood whoes name is Tuan. His age is the same as mine but he looks older than me. Because he’s very tall and thin, everybody calls him “a palm”. Tuan has a short curly hair and beautiful chestnut brown eyes that appeal of many girls. He is a person of very few words that makes him to be a good listener. Anyone, who has ever contacted with Tuan, thinks about him as a glacial boy. In fact he’s really warm and nice. He’s willing to help people whenever possible. When I was in secondary school, I found Math was very difficult to understand but Tuan solved the Math problems so fast. He spent all seven nights of weeks to help me in Math while he could go out to relax. Tuan was a good all-rounder exception English. Most of the teachers in school and parents highly appreaciated his talent. Only a month ago, he received two full scholarships from America Government to study oversea but he has not yet decided whether he should go or not. Although he has not spent much time to take part in sport activities, he is a well football player. We were in Ha Noi Young Football Team when we were in grade 10. Everything seems perfect to my bestfriend but he’s very modest and always talks to himself to give more effort. I’m proud of Tuan and pray for the good things beside him forever.

After stress and pressure in life, one always has a place to come back called home. I love decorating my own bedroom. My bedroom is on the second floor near my parents’ bedroom. There is a double bed for my younger sister and me. I usually lie above her so that it is easier for me to study late at night without annoying her. The room has a big wood wardrobe, which contains all of our clothes such as: dress, jean, t-shirt and sock. Beside, my mother bought us a dressing table on my 15th birthday; therefore, I put all the makeup-stuff and bandeau here. In the corner stand a large bookshelf in order to store books, academic document as well as family passe-partout. Next to it is a table with a desktop so as to help us investigate more knowledge on the internet. My sister and I really enjoy decorating the room with sker such as: mickey, boo bear, hello kitty, angry bird and so on. Beside, we also sk glow-in-the-dark tape on the ceiling and it turn out to light when darkness comes. Moreover, the room is designed with pink and deep blue so it brings us cozy and fresh feeling when putting step into it. The bathroom is in my room too. It is quite small but always clean and restful as we tidy it up every week. My father suggests having a bathtub; however, we don’t agree since we enjoy having a shower instead of lying in tub. Bedroom is a resting place after a hard studying day; hence we always clean it up so that it is neat and comfortable.

I live in a big city, and my house is not very big since there are only rich people who can afford to live in a spacious house. Every room in my house is just enough for our activities, so we do not have much space for the living room. However, we try our best to decorate it because it is where the whole family gathers after a long day staying outside. We lay down a thick rug on the floor, it both helps to decorate and keep the floor safe from the scratches. To save some space, we put the TV and the loud speakers on the wall. The Play Station, DVD player and other electronic devices are put in a small cabinet in the corner of the room, and we only take them out whenever we want to play something. In the middle of the room is a glass table, we put on the surface a bottle of fresh water and some cups so everyone can have a quick drink before leaving or after coming back to the house. Behind the table is a big white couch, and it can be considered as the biggest thing in the living room. My mother loves the pastel tone, so the walls are painted in cream color; and they all go very well with the couch. We do not have any window there, so we install an air conditioner to keep the atmosphere cool. We hang some pictures of landscape as well as painting on the walls to make the room livelier. There are also a pot of a small plant in the corner of the room, so we can get some fresh air from it. Every night, we would gather to watch TV or sing karaoke, and it is my favorite time of the day. Although the living room is no too big, our family will always have good times there together.

Mỗi buổi tối, chúng tôi sẽ tụ họp lại để xem TV hoặc hát karaoke; và đó là khoảng thời gian yêu thích nhất của tôi trong ngày. I live in a pretty big house in the countryside since we also live with our grandparents, and the biggest as well as the most beautiful room in our house is the living room. We have a tradition to visit others house in our free times, so the living is specialized to welcome our guests. We do not put the TV, loud speakers or the DVD player there, because that is the space for us to talk to each other. At the end of the room, we put a big altar which is used to worship our ancestors. My mother takes a very good care of it since she changes the water and incenses every day. My father installs some lights to make it brighter and warmer. In the middle of the room is a couch which made from wood. It is beautifully carved into a dragon which the body is the back, the head is the place to rest our heads, and the claws are the four legs of the couch. The table surface is decorated with conch, and it makes the complete look to not look too heavy. On the table are a big flower vase and a set of tea pot and cups, which is used to serve the best tea to our guests. There is a big window behind the couch, and it gives the room plenty sources of light. The curtains are in light green color, and go very well with the dark green paint of the walls. On the walls are some of our family pictures as well as some pieces of my grandfather’s calligraphy. He has the ability to write Chinese and Vietnamese words in a very beautiful way, so we frame some of his works and put them on the walls. It can be said that the living room represent the whole family, so we always try to take a very good care of it.
