My favorite sport is football. It is a team sport so everyday after class, I often play football with my friends at the stadium. One football match lasts 90 minutes. To play this sport, you need 12 football players including 2 goal keepers and 10 players. In addition to this, you also need a ball and a spacious place to play in. All football players try to kick the ball to the opponent’s goal. When the time is out, the team which has more scores will be the winner. I love football because it is the king of sport and it helps me to live a healthy lifestyle.

i am new here. Was searching helps on essay and found this webby. nice one. My teacher just asked me to write an essay with the title [ my favorite sport game ]. So far as i know, on this case, we are suppose to write about [ why we like it ] instead of [ talking about the sport ] , isnt it? My teacher has given me the notes which are all relating [ talk about the sport ]. below are the notes given from my teacher

2. what it is special about? - famous in world , world class team, have won many championship
3. who are the special/outstanding players in the team?
4. what are their special abilities - score alot goals, can run and driblle the ball

I am just disagree with the way of writing this essay. It is probably out of topic, if i am not wrong. However, i have done an essay based on the notes given. Pls check and remark for me. If possible, help me think of the REAL and BETTER way to write this essay. Your help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

A game is an activity involving one or more players. Games are played primarily for entertainment or enjoyment, but may also serve as exercise. Everyone in this world has their own favorite games, so do I. My favorite game is football. I often play this with my friend in the evening. I like this game because it is exciting and challenging.
Football is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players each. It is a ball game played on a rectangular grass field with a goal at each end. The objective of the game is to score by maneuvering the ball into the opposing goal. The winner is the team which has scored most goals at the end of the match.
Football is played at a professional level all over the world, and millions of people regularly go to football stadium to follow their favorite team, whilst millions more avidly watch the game on television. A very large number of people also play football at an amateur level. In many parts of the world football evokes great passions and plays an important role in the life of individual fans, local communities, and even nations; it is therefore often claimed to be the most popular sport in the world.
There are many worldwide international competition of football. One of the major international competitions in football is the World Cup organized by Fédération Internationale de Football Association. Over 190 national teams compete in qualifying tournaments within the scope of continental confederations for a place in the finals. The finals tournament, which is held every four years, now involves 32 national teams competing. The next World Cup takes place in Germany 2006.
The star I admired most in football is Edson Arantes do Nascimento, nicknamed Pelé, is a former Brazilian football player and thought by many to be the finest player of all time. Often considered the complete attacking player, he was completely two-footed, a prolific finisher, exceptional at dribbling and passing, and was a remarkably good tackler for a forward. He was also famed for his speed and strength on the ball. Since his full retirement he has served as an ambassador for the sport.
There is many reason football is my favorite game. I wish to become a professional football player. I learnt teambuilding, discipline as well as teamwork through playing football.

There are many sports, which are good for our health and popular over the world. Soccer is one of my favorite sports. It is played by two teams consisting of 11 people each team. The general rule is that the ball is kicked by leg and the players get score when having the ball in their goal post. Football is known as “king” among other sports. First, it improves integrity when applying several techniques to create strong power. Second, it not only reduces stress and bad cholesterol of body but also relaxes out spirit after a hard working day. My brother usually plays football every afternoon after work as he is in a local sport club. Moreover, football is not simply one kind of sport, it is an art because of the popularity. Since there is an increasing number of football team over the world such as: Manchester United, Barcelona, Arsenal with professional players. Although I am not able to play well, I love watching football matches as they are interesting and we can also learn from their technique. Furthermore, football is public concern as well as heated debate. Football is now popular through women, who are thought not able to play this kind of sport.

Volleyball is my favourite sport. It is a team game. It has two team and 12 players in the yard. A match lasts for three or five half. A match has three times to consult. It does not need a lot of support equipment such as swimming, skateboarding or baseball. I love it very much.

If you turn on the TV at 8pm every Tuesday, you'll see my favorite program - Who is millionair? This program's rules are very easy, but it's very difficult to win this program. Players, who come to this program, have to answer 15 questions, each question has 4 choices A, B, C and D. If you can answer all these questions, you can receive 150 million dong in Vietnam. Because of hard questions, nobody in Vietnam has received this reward. Do you think you can become the first person who receive it?

In sports and games, I like badminton best. It's an individual sport or team sport. It's may last for 90 minutes. There are two or four players so that two teams is all has the same players. It needs some equiment such as: racket, shutlecock, net.

My favourite sport is badminton. It's a team sport ang also individual sport. It may lasts for 15 minutes. There are two people on each team. It's very easy to play because we need only a racket and a shuttlecock. I usually play badminton with my friends in the evening at the club. I really love playing badminton.
"Competition" is a word that is the place we competitive with other. At there, we can play our favorite sports. The joy, the smiles come from there. With the interseting quotes, I wish I had a chance to play. I don't know if there is a special day for sports or not? But perhaps yes, because it is very important to me, to everyone over the world.
