On summer holiday, I often go back to my hometown and I have seen many changes in this rural area over the years.

The most impressive change is in education. Recently, there are more schools rebuilt nearby and they are all better equipped. This summer, my hometown friends and I enjoy reading different kinds of books and comics in the new library. This change makes my stay here a lot more enjoyable.

Means of communication is the second big change I can see in the area. In the past, the common way to contact somebody faraway was to write letters by hand. Nowadays, thanks to mobile phones and even social networks, the locals can keep in touch more easily.

However, the negative change in the environment is something I dislike. Vast paddy fields where the children used to fly kites no longer exist. Instead, a new industrial zone appears. Worse, factories in the zone are polluting the river and make it too dirty for us to swim in.

My neighborhood in my father's story is now different from that neighborhood. My neighborhood is very poor in his story. Everyone is living a hard life at that moment. Lack of food, lack of money. It is different now. People no longer live a hard life. They've got enough food, enough money, a house for everybody, and a lot more stuff. Sentiments are the only things that don't change. Everybody will still be very pleased. They work together, and when they need to support each other, that's a privilege. That makes my village, for everyone, a wonderful place. People are just farmers, but in the face of suffering, they have unity. And when they have money in their hands, they are always in unity with each other, they are friendly, they are supportive, they are good people. The landscape is much like the old days. That mountain, that river. Nature, with humans, is peace. People live with nature, people create things from nature, and nature is still accessible to people, providing them with resources to build their home. That's what people are looking for, and they deal with it very well. That's what I can tell about my home village. My village is a beautiful place, in my opinion.

Villages are a beauty and today`s generation is really missing the beauty of villages. Villages are so silent and calm and pollution free. Though I live in a city with the maddening crowd and sound, my parents used to live in villages and I have been there many times. Both my parents come from villages, and I look forward to go their places during my vacations. It is so calm and peaceful and the beauty of nature is just fantastic. With not many families around, they know each other so well, that they all almost live like a large family. You could step into your neighbor’s house at any time and you would be welcomed with yummy dishes and snacks. Though the transportation has advanced, there are still places where you need to walk.I remember, while visiting my grandmother’s place, we had to walk through the paddy fields to reach her home!! It was such an experience that I guess very few, who are of my age would have hadThe backwaters are another beauty to the villages. You have small streams that club to the lakes and backwaters. This stream water is so fresh and crystal clear. You could walk through them and the cool water just rushes over your feet and makes you feel so cool. Hours could be spent by simply sitting and admiring the beauty of nature. The sunset is a beautiful scene to be viewed.

My ideal planet for humans to live on would provide a suitable amount of energy and heat for life to thrive.  I suppose that we will be taller, stronger and more intelligent in our new life. The planet would have a diverse range of landscapes, which has a comfortable climate that was not too extreme, with plenty of freshwater sources and a variety of plant and animal species to support a healthy ecosystem. I expect that the inhabitants will have a strong sense of community and a deep connection to the natural environment, with a shared commitment to preserving the planet for future generations. In terms of technology, humans will invent advanced infrastructure to support modern living, including reliable communication networks, efficient transportation systems, and sustainable sources of energy.
