We also take the time to offer incense and prayers at our family altar, expressing gratitude for the past year and seeking blessings for the year ahead. Overall, the preparations for Tet in my family are filled with warmth, unity, and a deep appreciation for our cultural heritage.

Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

The New Year come the more excited and interested people there are. This is the occasion for everyone in the family together to welcome New Year after hard – workings in the Old Year. At 24 o’clock on the 30th of the 12th lunar month, the Old Year is replaced on the New Year. At that time, all house are well lighted; moreover, everyone wear well clothes which they prepared before and they go out into the streets to visit temples, pagoda or go to the churches. Almost people pray for a Prosperous and Happy New Year. This is also an opportunity for children wish longevity to their parents and grandparents. However, all of them hope to receive lucky money.

Two weeks ago on Saturday, I watched a final match about football between U23 Vietnam and U23 Uzbekistan at school. All the students and the teachers enjoyed it. First, they sang the national song. The first half of the match, U23 Uzbekistan won with 1-0. The second half of the match, U23 Vietnam tried to kick the ball into the other's goal and they won with 1-1. But finally U23 Uzbekistan won with 2-1. And the winner is U23 Uzbekistan. Although U23 Vietnam lost, but they tried their best. I love Vietnam.
Tet is the most special holiday of Viet Nam so it must be well decorated.My family and I also welcome it after we decorate our house.Before this special event came,we repainted our house.The faint yellow walls were soon painted in a lovely blue.Next,we decorate it.The house was decorated with red decorations,the main color that appeared alot on Tet.Then,me with my mom and sisters went shopping to buy new clothes for us,presants for my grandparents,food to cook during the holiday,flower,trees...ect...Finally,we prepared the five-fruites tray,boiled chicken,ham,Chung cakes to offered our ancestors.And,last of all,we watch a special movie named "Tao Quan" and wait for count down to begin a new year.
My parents’ hometown is Long An, but I was born and raised up in Ho Chi Minh City. People usually call it Saigon, and it is the biggest city of Vietnam. It has a lot of fascinating buildings and constructions since it is a modern and developing city. What I love about Saigon is that all the new and old things are perfectly harmonized. Behind the skyscrapers are the small alleys which contain a slower lifestyle and traditional values. My friends and I have a lot of places to go in our free time such as Nguyen Hue walking street, Tao Dan Park, Dam Sen Water Park, Suoi Tien theme park, and many other places which tourists usually visit. Besides the view, it can be said that Saigon is one of the food heaven that people should not miss when they come to Vietnam. We can find almost all kind of Vietnamese cuisine here, and we can enjoy featuring foods on floating restaurants on Saigon River. I love Saigon a lot, because both the people and the city itself are nice to me and whoever wants to visit it.

Bên cạnh phong cảnh, có thể nói Sài Gòn là một trong những thiên đường ăn uống mà mọi người không nên bỏ lỡ khi đến Việt Nam. Ở đây chúng ta có thể tìm thấy hầu hết mọi loại ẩm thực Việt Nam, và chúng ta có thể thưởng thức những món ăn đặc trưng trên các nhà hàng nổi trên sông Sài Gòn. Tôi yêu nơi này rất nhiều, bởi vì cả con người và thành phố rất tốt với tôi và những người muốn đến đây.
My neighbourhood is in the country in a . Special 30th December Lunar calendar, family is sitting around cooking fire to cook Banh Chung – a type has in Tet, and wait for and welcome new year. Start a lucky year, they gives lucky money together, its name’s Li Xi. Houses are decorated and painted and people buy news clothes to visit near relation. Tet is occasion to visit graves and meet old classmate. Tet has many festival; for example, flower, fireworks… and has many games; for example, Bai Choi, Dap Nieu Dat… In conclusion, tet is the time for people to understand and occasion to relax after they are assiduously working and make close relation.
