Last May Day my class went to the countryside by bus for our holiday . There was too much trafficon the road so we had to move very slowly . It took us about one hour to get out of the town . My name is John, and this is my story. Last year just before Christmas my family and our cousin and uncle and aunt decided to go to Perth for holiday. We went for a picnic in the park today because the weather was beautiful. My brother helped Mum and Dad get everything out of the car while I collected some wood for a fire. We didn’t need it to keep warm, but Dad always wants to have hot food on a picnic. First, we all had watermelon, which was delicious! Actually, I also had an ice cream from a place in the park. After eating the watermelon and the ice creams, my Dad cooked some sausages and some burgers. Finally, we had bread and jam or honey. Then we went home. Tomorrow we are going to the beach.
