I was born and grown up on the poor land in Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh province. That’s where deeply attaches to me 24 years of life. If anyone who asks me that “What’s the thing your most proud of?” .I will answer that’s my hometown. Duc Tho is the land poor where the people live by rice cultivation, breeding, and fishing. Although the life is very difficult, but the people is very friendly, and studious. In Duc Tho, there is a Tung Anh village where called “Doctor village”. Duc Tho is also the home of Tran Phu Secretary General, and marked many memories of the great leader Ho Chi Minh.
If you come to Duc Tho, you will feel many interesting things, visiting Tran Phu tombstone, La Giang dyke, rowing on La driver, and enjoying the traditional songs. In the evening, they can enjoy a special food which is “mussel rice” – just only eat one time, you will never forget.

“Tôi sinh ra và lớn lên trên miền đất nghèo thuộc huyện Đức Thọ, tỉnh Hà Tĩnh. Đó là nơi gắn bó với tôi 24 năm cuộc đời. Nếu có ai hỏi tôi rằng “Điều gì làm tôi tự hào nhất?”. Hello, everybody! My name is Hanh. Today I am here to present to you about Favorite TV shows. I very watching cartoons. And of all the film I have seen, “Grave of the fireflies” is one in the cartoons which I most. In Vietnamese it’s called is “Can ham đom đom” or “Mo đom đom”. It’s a tragic story about two childents in the war. It’s made from Japan by Ghibli studio, directed and written by Takahata Isao. It is based on a nover of Nosaka Akiyuki. It’s written as a apologize to his sister. With Japanese, this film is understand as a fable about the respect. Film is been in historical background at the end of the seconds world war from Japan. Film tells a painful story but moving to brothers sentiment of two orphanages : Seita and Setsuko. They lost mother after a fierce bombing of American air force to Kobe city while their father combat for Japanese navy. So Seita and Setsuko must to struggle to exist between the famine and the resistance to merciless of surrounding people (that have their kinship). They have to live in a shelter-pit and often eat frogs and lizards. At the end, Setsuko have to die for hunger, pictures depict painfulness and the death of little girl can be considered as the most mournful film pictures in the cartoon Japan history. When everybody, who had seen this film are asked, most of them said they cried, and that have me. That brings me to the end of my presentation. Many thanks for your attention!

There are many sports, which are good for our health and popular over the world. Soccer is one of my favorite sports. It is played by two teams consisting of 11 people each team. The general rule is that the ball is kicked by leg and the players get score when having the ball in their goal post. Football is known as “king” among other sports. First, it improves integrity when applying several techniques to create strong power. Second, it not only reduces stress and bad cholesterol of body but also relaxes out spirit after a hard working day. My brother usually plays football every afternoon after work as he is in a local sport club. Moreover, football is not simply one kind of sport, it is an art because of the popularity. Since there is an increasing number of football team over the world such as: Manchester United, Barcelona, Arsenal with professional players. Although I am not able to play well, I love watching football matches as they are interesting and we can also learn from their technique. Furthermore, football is public concern as well as heated debate. Football is now popular through women, who are thought not able to play this kind of sport.
I’m actually introverted, love traditional culture, so I really traditional games on Tet holiday or another holidays. Viet Nam is a country which has a special culture, there are many traditional games very popular and keep today such as buffalo fighting, cock fighting, mud banger, flying kite, playing chess,…Every game contains a special meaning and different depending on each region. For my village, on each Tet holiday always hold cock fighting, playing chess at village temple on 3rd (Chinese calendar). There have a lot of people to enjoy traditional games, my family is also eager to see and predict the outcome of these games.
Besides, in the summer I and my brother usually play flying kite on the field. Not only us, but also village’s children. The kites has various colors which are very beautiful on the sky. The traditional games is not only normal, but also it helps me relax and feel life meaningful.

Pho is one of the Vietnamese traditional food. The most delicious and typical brand of Pho in Vietnam is Ha Noi Pho with wonderful flavor. Pho is made from rice noodles, beef or chicken and other spices. Pho is a noodle soup; therefore, it’s better when being added with beansprout. Eating Pho with family not only reflects Vietnamese tradition but also creates cozy atmosphere. At weekends, my friends and I usually go to a cafeteria to enjoy Pho because Pho is served at many restaurants in Vietnam. There are two main kind of Pho: noodle soup with beef and sliced chicken, both of them are delicious and high nutrients. Pho is favorite food of almost Vietnamese and often served as breakfast. Moreover, Pho is popular in international market for its pleasant taste and reasonable price. Foreign tourists visit Vietnam and they really the taste of Pho here. I am very proud of it. In near future, I hope Pho will be more famous in other countries so that foreigners can enjoy this cuisine and understand about Vietnamese culture.
Around the world there are many cuisine but I still spaghetti the most. The main ingredients to make spaghetti are noodles, beef and tomatoes. Besides, we can add onion, carrot, bean or other kind of vegetable. At weekends, my mother and I usually go to the market, buy goods and cook spaghetti for my family instead of traditional dishes. It’s easy to cook this food. All we have to do are boiling noodles, chopping beef and making a good sauce of tomatoes. There is a tip for a perfect sauce is adding a slice of lemon into it. If there is a need of vegetable, It can be served with carrot and peas. Spaghetti supplies high nutrients and several vitamins, which good for your health especially for diet people. Moreover, spaghetti is famous for its delicious taste and convenience as fast food. It’s known as typical traditional food of Italy. Although spaghetti originate from Europe, it’s more widespread in Asia specifically Vietnam. Nowadays, It is popular food not only in Italy but also in other countries.
Since I was young, I had always been interested in comics, and Doraemon is my favorite series. Although many people say that this is a series for children, I still maintain the habit of reading the story about that robot cat every time I have free time. Doraemon is a Japanese manga series by Fujiko. F. Fujio, it is about a robot cat named Doraemon from the 22nd century with a miracle bag in front of his belly. He uses his time machine to go back to the past to help a gentle, kind but also very clumsy friend named Nobita. At his house, Doraemon, Nobita and his friends such as Shizuka, Jaian, and Suneo go through many interesting, humorous as well as touching stories. The series is divided into short and long stories. In the short ones, each episode will include many small stories that happen around the daily life of Nobita. Since he is a very clumsy boy who is often bullied by his friends, he needs Doraemon to use the magic gadgets of the future to help him for most of the time. In the long ones, Doraemon, Nobita and his friends will be going on mysterious yet dangerous adventures to save the world. Of course, each adventure is always out of danger and achieves success thanks to the magic gadgets of Doraemon and the sincere friendship of the group. Beside the hope of miracles in the future, author had also featured in many lessons about pure friendship, kindness, sacrifice and solidarity in his series. Doraemon is not only a comic series for children, but it is also a spiritual food, a childhood friend of many adults.
