I live in a big city, and my house is not very big since there are only rich people who can afford to live in a spacious house. Every room in my house is just enough for our activities, so we do not have much space for the living room. However, we try our best to decorate it because it is where the whole family gathers after a long day staying outside. We lay down a thick rug on the floor, it both helps to decorate and keep the floor safe from the scratches. To save some space, we put the TV and the loud speakers on the wall. The Play Station, DVD player and other electronic devices are put in a small cabinet in the corner of the room, and we only take them out whenever we want to play something. In the middle of the room is a glass table, we put on the surface a bottle of fresh water and some cups so everyone can have a quick drink before leaving or after coming back to the house. Behind the table is a big white couch, and it can be considered as the biggest thing in the living room. My mother loves the pastel tone, so the walls are painted in cream color; and they all go very well with the couch. We do not have any window there, so we install an air conditioner to keep the atmosphere cool. We hang some pictures of landscape as well as painting on the walls to make the room livelier. There are also a pot of a small plant in the corner of the room, so we can get some fresh air from it. Every night, we would gather to watch TV or sing karaoke, and it is my favorite time of the day. Although the living room is no too big, our family will always have good times there together.

Chúng tôi không có cái cửa sổ nào ở đó, vậy nên chúng tôi đã lắp máy điều hoà nhiệt độ để giữ không khí mát mẻ. Chúng tôi cũng treo một vài bức tranh phong cảnh cũng như tranh vẽ trên tường để làm căn phòng trông sống động hơn. Trong góc phòng cũng có một chậu cây cảnh nhỏ để chúng tôi có thể có được một chút không khí trong lành từ nó. Mỗi buổi tối, chúng tôi sẽ tụ họp lại để xem TV hoặc hát karaoke; và đó là khoảng thời gian yêu thích nhất của tôi trong ngày. Mặc dù phòng khách không quá lớn, gia đình chúng tôi luôn có những khoảng thời gian tốt đẹp ở đó.

2.I am a student, live alone in a small apartment on the 12th floor of a residential area.To me, a beautiful living room is also a bedroom and a dining room. I paint the room pink color so it looks pretty young and warm. Right next to the door of the room, I have put a clothes hook to hang umbrellas, coat and bags. In the middle of the room is a soft brown sofa,it is also a temporary bed for me. This summer, I will visit Ha long Bay with my family .It is a beautiful and interesting place . In here, I can swim or visit some pagoda.It's great. Summer vacations are the best time to relax and enjoy with family and friends, it’s the time I eagerly waited for every year.And,in this summer holiday,I will go to Vung Tau– the city which has most beatiful beaches in Vietnam with my family.We will stay there for 2 days at a small hotel. First day, we will get up early to see the sunrise on the beach. Then we swim and lay down on the sand to enjoy beautiful sunlight and the clear blue sky. We also enjoy delicious seafood and drink fresh coconuts.The next day, it will take us about 30 minutes to hike up the Small Mountain to visit the Lighthouse. But it is really worth the try!The lighthouse is beautiful and it is a really interesting site.I hope the weather during the time we stay will really good.. We will take many photographs to save our memorable vacation and buy a lot of souvenirs, too.

Each summer vacation, I am taken to the countryside by my parents so as to relax after a hard working term. I really like the life here. In rural areas, there are not as many houses and vehicles as in the city. As the result, the atmosphere is quite fresh and cool. Most people mainly travel by bicycle or on foot. The landscape is very poetic and picturesque. There are many gardens, rivers here. We can grow vegetables or chickens, fish,... on our own. The local are very kind, generous and friendly. They are willing to give directions to strangers and help each other in difficult times. Whenever we are away, we can relievedly ask our neighbors to keep our houses and children . Another thing that we especially like is that in the countryside, we are reconciled to nature so that the soul is always open and the body is healthy. Living in the countryside is fun and wonderful. Mỗi lần nghỉ hè, mình lại được cha mẹ cho về quê chơi, thư giãn sau một kì học căng thẳng. Mình rất thích cuộc sống ở đây. Ở nông thôn không có nhiều nhà cửa,xe cộ đi lại như ở thành phố nên không khí khá trong lành và mát mẻ. Mọi người chủ yếu đi lại bằng xe đạp hay đi bộ. Khung cảnh rất nên thơ, đẹp như tranh vẽ. Ở đây có rất nhiều những vườn tược, sông ngòi. Chúng ta có thể tự tay trồng những loại rau củ hay nuôi gà, nuôi cá,... Người dân ở đây rất tốt bụng, phóng khoáng và thân thiện. Họ sẵn sàng chỉ đường cho người lạ và giúp đỡ nhau những lúc khó khăn. Mỗi khi đi xa, ta có thể yên tâm nhờ hàng xóm trông hộ nhà cửa, con cái. Một điều nữa mà mình đặc biệt thích là ở nông thôn, chúng ta được giao hòa với thiên nhiên bởi vậy mà tâm hồn lúc nào cũng rộng mở và cơ thể thì khỏe mạnh. Cuộc sống ở nông thôn thật thú vị và tuyệt vời. Trong tương lai, mình rất muốn sống ở đây.
