Ho Chi Minh City is the largest city and the region’s centre for economics, education and culture in Vietnam.

The school drum sound resounded as usual in any high school, but when standing in this school yard, Nam Hong Junior High School, I found so much back.

The school is big and beautiful! We have a large yard for fun, there are chairs of teachers and siblings in front of them to give back to school to rest in the break. My classroom has four rows of tables, neatly arranged, with a blackboard on the top, and a teacher's desk on the left. Next to the teacher's desk is a study cabinet for us. It is said that a good classroom creates friendly environment for student to learn and discover the world. It must be designed with wood desk and chair, large board, fan or air condition system, fresh atmosphere, as well as modern projector and other needed equipment. At the top of the board is always a photo of Ho Chi Minh. It’s a fundamental rule of every class so that students look up to their good example and learn from him. High tech devices are necessary for classroom because it is easier for teacher to apply new teaching method; moreover, student is more interested in studying through tablets. I want to describe in detail my classroom in primary school. Beside all the things I listed out, it is decorated with ornamental trees to create natural greenery. In the end of the room there are a lot of vivid picture, which pick up a child’s curiosity and imagination. The photos are about several topics in life : wild animal, nature, universe, number and math,… Besides, there is often a clock hang on the wall. It consists of 1 door and 4 windows; therefore, we can save electricity from light and fan when opening all the windows. A classroom must be equipped with wastebasket, towel, bloom and mop in order for student to clean, tidy up their learning environment. Facility of a classroom has great effect on the way student’s think and behave. Hence, it is highly recommend that government construct more school and pay more attention on education.

Hello everyone! My name is Giao and I'm 11 years old. I'm studying at Le Van Tam secondary school.
My school is in Binh Thanh district. There are lots of flowers and trees in my school. I always play with my friends at the yard. The yard is big so we can do lots of activities. In my school has lots of rooms such as: classrooms, teacher's room, toilets,....There is a big stage. Behind the stage, there is a canteen, we eat and buy food at the canteen. My school is a big school and the teachers are very kind and funny. I hope in the future my school is famous and popular, the students are docile. I love my school very much.

The first school plays an important part in the impression of a child. To me, it’s Nguyen Thai Hoc primary school that grow me up. It is located at Ba Cu street, which is always busy in rush hour. I remember the first day going to school, I spend much of my time discovering the school instead of fear or newness to surrounding. There are a great number of classrooms equipped with new desk, wood table, large board, fan and modern projector. On the yard, there are many big evergreen trees, which provide shade to avoid the heat of summer. Terminalia catappa and flamboyant are two main kinds of tree in school area. Especially, in summer, the flamboyant blooms red flower and the student always pick and put it in a notebook so as to keep memory of their school. Besides, the school is known for its educational quality with a group of well-qualified and devoted teachers. At school, the student has a chance to acquire thorough knowledge of all subjects. Therefore, everyday going to school is happiness. Since we not only study in friendly environment but also play in cosy atmosphere. Although I no longer learn at the school, it obtains a lasting impression about my childhood with good friends.
