Our country is developing rapidly thanks to the development of the economy and social, but the transport doesn’t seem fast enough to follow the requirements of the life. Traffic accidents are now an alarmingly problem and assigned to "high ranking" in Southeast Asia. Therefore, this issue is on top concern of the whole society. So how can we ensure traffic safety? That is the big question, the answer requires the efforts of everyone.

Traffic in Vietnam is now considered to be the worst aspect because there are so many terrible traffic accidents which frequently occur. The information about the damage in traffic accidents every day, every month, every year frighten anyone when they hear them. Every day, there are about 35 deaths, each year there are more than ten thousand people die from traffic accidents. It is a terrible number! Perhaps the traffic accident is one of the enemies that we must always face.

Traffic accidents not only cause desolution, steal the happiness of many families, but also caused enormous damage to society. Besides, bad traffic safety has a negative impact to the recognition, evaluation of the development of Vietnam and cause difficulties for foreign investors to invest in our country . Many tourists answered that poor traffic safety was the worst thing when they was asked about things that is not good in Vietnam. They are afraid to cross the road and drive motorbike here. According to the survey of the tourism industry, more than 70% of visitors do not want to come back Vietnam for many reasons, but the most significant reason is the traffic situation does not ensure safety. Therefore, unsafe traffic directly affects economic’s development, especially for the tourism industry.

There are so many reasons of the unsafety in traffic. Firstly, the awareness of traffic participants is too poor. People don’t seem to follow the laws. There are common sights like: four or three people on one motorbike, not wearing helmet when driving…

Secondly, the quality of roads and transport system is too bad. The elephant holes

appear on every roads. The traffic participants could not help worrying when driving.

Finally, the police officers are irresponsible. For their own benefits, they are willing to ignore people who do not follow the law.

to ensure traffic safety, there should be suitable ways and rules for people. First, we need to educate citizens more and more about traffic rules, raising the level of knowledge and awareness of participants. Remind and force people to wear helmets when riding a motorbike. Secondly, we must punish those who violate the laws. On the other hand, the police officers need selecting carefully. Moreover, the government should build new roads with higher quality than the old roads and improve the transport system.

As students, i and my friends can encourage relatives, family’s member to learn about traffic safety laws, wear helmet whenever participating in traffic, always drive on the right side.

Traffic safety is an issue which are being concerned by our country. Every citizen should voluntarily follow the traffic rules strictly to contribute society to become more civilized and modern.

Traffic accidents claimed the countless tears and lives of
tens of thousands of people. It has become a pressing issue affecting and serious damage to the economy, especially during Vietnam's economy is on track to integration and development. Currently, although the government has invested and set multiple solutions but there seem not alter much.

That is the question of how many people on this earth .We have to know the rules strictly adhere to the law will not face the unfortunate situation and thus also contribute a large part to the current society and future .
