Tet, also known as Lunar new year festival, is the biggest traditional festival in Viet Nam. Tet is usually from the end of January to early February. Before Tet, Vietnamese prepare many things for the three main days. They clean their house and decorate with flowers such as kumquat tree or peach blossom. A huge amount of food will be bought before Tet for making traditional dishes. Banh Chung, Banh Tet, Gio cha, Xoi and Mut, and candies are the foods that must have on Tet holidays. During Tet, people visit their relatives’ homes and give wishes. However, the Vietnamese believe that the first visitor a family receives in the year determines their fortune for the entire year, people never enter any house on the first day without being invited first. Another custom is giving lucky money, which is put into a red envelope as a symbol of luck and wish for a new age. Traditionally, elders will give lucky money to children and the oldest people in the family. However, nowadays, people can give it to anyone including friends, parents, neighbors. Besides, Vietnamese usually go to pagodas or temples to pray for health, wealth, success. To Vietnamese, Tet is the happiest time of all year around, members in a family can gather together, which is a meaningful messages of Lunar New year festival. All in all, Tet is all about back to origins, be good to others, enjoy the precious moment, and wish for the best to come.

Traditional Tet is one of the most important festivals of Vietnam. Just like in Western countries that follow Christianity, Christmas is a sacred and important holiday, so is the traditional New Year's Day. Traditional New Year's Day is called Lunar New Year or Lunar New Year, and is considered the most important moment of a year. The time starts on the 1st day of the 1st lunar month of the new year. The Lunar New Year usually falls between the end of January and the middle of February of a calendar year. Normally in Vietnam, every occasion to prepare for the Lunar New Year, everyone, whether working or going to school, has a holiday schedule. Normally, the time off is from one working week or more (for employees) and two to three days before December 30. To prepare for the important Tet holiday of this year, every family often buys a lot of new things, cleans the house, prepares a tray of rice to worship ancestors. And yet, on the traditional New Year's Day, there is also a custom to visit the elderly, family members, friends and neighbors every time Tet comes. At that time, homeowners or adults will give lucky money to children and elders with wishes at the beginning of the new year of peace, prosperity, and everything as desired. This is not only a custom but also a cultural beauty of the Vietnamese people, to show concern and hope for a full and peaceful life for everyone.

Over time we live and develop, each of us will choose a unique habit. My friends have a habit of playing games on the weekends. Personally, I have a habit of reading in my free time every day. This habit of mine is formed from the shape of my hobby. Since childhood I have enjoyed reading. The types of books that I often read are books about life, manners, and economics. Ever since I could read, I have always enjoyed reading. However, when I was a kid, the kind of books I read were usually comic books. Currently, studying time is quite busy so I don’t have a fixed time for reading. However, whenever I have time I will read. I usually carry a book that I am half-reading in my bag. This ensures I can read ns anywhere and at any suitable time. I think the habit of reading has helped me improve myself a lot. In the future I will keep this useful habit. I have been studying English for over 5 years, and I found out that it had brought me a lot of benefits. My mother told me English is an international language, so everyone should learn English in order to have an advantage to access to the world. For me it is not just simply a tool for communication, but it is also opens new doors to the vast ocean. It helps me get close to many sources of information through the books and material that I have read while learning. Most of the books for learning English are about science, nature, news from around the world or much more interesting content so they can attract readers. Therefore, I can gain a lot of useful knowledge as well as having fun time reading them besides the skills in English. I also make a lot of new friends from many countries, and they let me know about many different cultures, the diversity of custom and tradition. I speak to people from Europe, America and Africa, each of my friends has a lot of interesting things for me to explore, and we are all connected with each other by English. I have a dream that one day I can travel to many parts of the world, and there is no tool which is simple to get and useful to help me achieve that dream like English. I am totally confident that I can access to international friends as long as they also speak English, and the world is waiting for me to explore. English brings me a lot more benefits that I cannot name, and I am sure that I will regret if I do not study it properly.

Tôi nói chuyện với những người đến từ Châu u, Châu Mỹ và Châu Phi, mỗi một người bạn đều có những điều thú vị để tôi khám phá, và chúng tôi đều được liên kết với nhau bằng tiếng Anh. English is the most common language all over the world. There is no compulsory method to study English, but each person has to find the suitable one to study it efficiently. To me, I read books in English in order to improve both my vocabulary and grammar. Besides, I combine studying and entertaining. In my free time, I often listen to English songs, watch English movies and try to translate the lyrics as well as the subtitle. Furthermore, I join an English club, where I can connect with some international friends, and they are the best teachers to teach me about English. I can learn some slang, idioms, and things that normal teachers do not teach their students. I hope you can find your own ways to learn English.
City is a place where life has become modern and comfortable and also mechanised. It is a huge habitation with brilliant life and life style to be seen everywhere.
For a correct assessment of city life we have to look at both the pros and cons of the city life, understand its advantages and disadvantages, and its merits and demerits.
People throng to a city basically for their employment i.e. for a means for a living or earning. This of course is absolutely necessary for all human beings and a city offers more avenues and has greater potential for jobs and there are more job opportunities. It is for this main reason that people come and crowd the cities.
This does pay as; the city has more to offer for people of all categories. This is not available in smaller places or villages. No matter what the talents and capacities of individuals, all of them get absorbed in cities as; it offers them all the power to sustain themselves.
Since every individual is busy looking for opportunities of livelihood there is bound to be in city a tough competition. Whether it is a competition for a job, for an examination or space or an office, or, as much as, even an area for begging, a city offers a very keen competition for all no matter what they follow.
This in turn results in the obvious tensions and hurry found in city life. In a city if we watch for some time, the impression we get is that, everyone is or at least seems to be running to his destination, lest someone else reaches there before.
There is besides the tensions of city life, a lot of glamour in most of them. This glamour also has its own attraction for the people rushing to cities. Life style becomes good as, there is a lot of money flowing in a city.
Just as job avenues are in plenty, the entertainment avenues are also in plenty. These avenues of entertainment and the light of glamour in cities have their charm and also their drawbacks.
The city children try to ape the scenes they see around full of glamour and priceless enjoyment. Seeing all this when most of them grow to be bereft of most of this, they feel left out and frustrated.
One most attractive point of city life is that here we find multifaceted avenues of education, which is completely lacking in small places. This gives the children a vast spectrum of choices of study to follow.
No matter what each child in a city is fond of doing, he/she is sure to find a place where his/her avenue of studies is taught. This is a great advantage to the children in cities, and this is exactly why, the city children are smarter and more exposed to the world, compared to their counterparts in villages.
The place I am living in is a beautiful little city near the sea. The infrastructure here is quite advanced and modern. In the past, the number of vehicle was so high, so traffic congestion often occurred, especially during the rush hours. However, recently, most people have been travelled by public transport using alternative energy instead of private vehicles, so the city has significantly reduced traffic congestion and pollution. The city also has many big and small amusement parks, movie theaters, restaurant ... to satisfy the needs of consumers. My favorite place in this city is the huge harbor. Every day, there are thousands of ships and boats going back and forth, of fishermen, traders or tourists. The atmosphere of the market is very vibrant and bustling. This is also the factor that makes the city become prosperous and rich. Moreover, the people in the city are very friendly, open minded and very aware of environmental protection. So even though there are many factories and vehicles, the city is still clean, beautiful, the air is fresh and cool. I love this city very much, hope that in the near future, the city will grow and become more and more modern.
I think life in the countryside has many advantages. Firstly, people are very friendly. Secondly , the space is very large. We can play, shout or run around without disturbing others. Thirdly, we can go swimming, go fishing interesting things. Moreover, life is peaceful. Then food is very fresh and especially vegetables. Finally , there are a lot of tradition activities that I can join. In short, if I have a chance to live in the country. I think I will be very happy.

Long time no write to you. I don't know if you still remember me? I just had a vacation in the mountains and now I want to tell you about that exciting journey.
I went to Ham Rong mountain. On the way to the top of Ham Rong mountain, it seems that beautiful scenes that do not belong to the lower world appear before our eyes as if we were lost in the royal gardens and then set foot on the Cloud yard, Heaven's gate. At Ham Rong mountain, you will feel like you are lost in a fairyland. Ham Rong Mountain is one of the most attractive destinations in the foggy city. On the mountain, there are many miniatures and many flowers blooming. The wild beauty of Ham Rong mountain combined with human hand embellishment has created a harmonious and colorful space. The road leading to the top is stone steps, shading both sides of the road are luxuriant green trees. This will be an opportunity to explore the landscape picture and many beautiful and strange flowers of Sapa highland. Especially the orchid garden with countless rare orchid species. Those rare orchids are transplanted and nurtured, carefully cared for here. With just one visit, I can never forget the wonderful natural scenery. It is of plants and trees with wild winds and attached clouds. Indeed, this is one of the places to hunt clouds that make people nostalgic and can't leave.
