The line graph provides information about the proportion of urban and rural population in Viet Nam between 1960 and 2020.

Overall, what stands out from the line graph is that the percentage of rural population followed an upward trend, while it was opposite for urban.

To commence with, most Vietnamese people lived in urban areas, accounted for 85%, which was the highest number in the chart in 1960. By contrast, this number decreased slightly by 4% in the next 20 years. Moreover, from 1990 to 2020, the percentage of urban population went down significantly, particularly from 80% to only 63%.

A closer look at the remaining data reveals that the proportion of rural population was approximately 15% throughout the same period, which was the smallest figure in the line graph. However, this number increased moderately to 19% in 1980, rising sharply from 20% to 37%, between 1990 and 2020 respectively

Answer:
The line graph compares the birth rates in China and the US and how these rates changed from 1920 to 2000.
Overall, there was a general decline in fertility of both nations throughout the time surveyed. However, the US’s birth rates almost was higher than that of China over the whole period.
American saw a significant fluctuation in the birth rates between 1920 to 1935, but it always remained over 10%. However, in the following decade, the fertility of the US decreased sharply to under 5 %. From 1945 to 1950, there was a rapidly increased in American’s birth rates, at 15%, reaching the highest point of it’s own during the whole period. From that on, the fertility of the US fell gradually to 7% in 2000.
During the 80-year period, the birth rates in China changed more significantly than in the US. It fell down to 5% in the year 1940, then reaching a peak of whole line graph in 1950, at 20%. Over the remainder of the period, China saw a sharply drop in the birth rates to only about 2% until 2000.

PANDEMIC DISEASES

Diseases are a natural part of life on earth . If there were no diseases , the population would grow too quickly , and there would not be enough food or other resources , so in a way , diseases are natural ways of keeping the Earth in balance . But sometimes they spread very quickly and kill large numbers of people . For example , in 1918 , an outbreak of the flu spread across the world , killing over 25 million people in only six months . Such terrible outbreaks of a diseases are called pandemics

Pandemics happen when a disease changes in a way that our bodies are not prepared to fight . In 1918 , a new type of flu virus appeared . Our bodies had no way to fight this new flu virus , and so it spread very quickly and killed large numbers of people . While there have been many different pandemic diseases throughout history , all of them have a new thing in common . First , all pandemic diseases spread from one person to another very easily .

Second , while they may kill many people , they generally do not kill people very quickly . A good example of this would be the Marburg virus . The Marburg virus is an extremely infectious disease . In addition , it is deadly . About 70 - 80 % of all people who get the Marburg virus died from the disease . However , the Marburg virus has not become a pandemic because most people die within three days of getting the disease . This means that the virus does not have enough time to spread a large number of people . The flu virus of 1918 , on the other hand , generally took about a week to ten days to kill its victims , so it had more time to spread .

While we may never be able to completely stop pandemics , we can make them less common . Doctors carefully monitor new diseases that they fear could become pandemics . For example , in 2002 , and 2003 , doctors carefully watched SARS . Their health warnings may have prevented SARS from becoming a pandemic .
