Tet is a traditional holiday of our country Vietnam.
The season of Tet occurs around the biginning of February and end of Janaurỵ The meaning of Tet is ending old year and welcome a new year. Tet holiday is very special for Vietnamese families to reunite. At that time, all family members try to come back their homes and get together to prepare for Tet. Moreover they will buy new clothes and clean their house. A branch of Mai flower or a Kumquat tree can't be absent from every home. They bring a fresh atmosphere to the house. We decorate ancestral altar with a tray full of fruits and flowers.
Some typical Tet's food such as sweets, coconut jam, candied fruits, lemon seeds, rice cake , "thit kho"( stew pork with eggs). A special food can not absent is sticky rice cake.. It is our country's traditional food on Tet holiday. Tet meal is more dilicious than our every day.
On Tet holiday, people have many typical activities. Young persons takes part in the traditional games such as: tug; cooking rice, cock fighting, watching lion dance. Many people visit relatives to wish a happy new year. A dults will give lucky money for children. Woman like going to pagoda to wish good things will come to their familỵ
In my oppinion, i like cozy and fresh Tets atmosphere. All member of family talk together about a happy new year. I can hang out with my friend and don't worry about any thịng
" Tet" holiday is always in Vietnamese's heart.

My school is a big and beautiful one in the country. There are three buildings and each has three floors with nine classrooms. We often play sports or do drawings and paintings at break time. I can take part in many interesting clubs at school. I like to study in a school in the country because I like the fresh air and the friendliness of people there.

My favorite room in my house would be my room. It is the biggest in the house and I adore my room an I am always there in my room and never really get out. I love my room I get really distracted doing things because I am always there. I do a lot of things and it's very nice and beautiful.
My room is awesome I love how I have it all decorated I have hanging hearts in the ceiling. Also, I have like the biggest bed ever and my blanket is of guitars because I love guitars and my curtains match like the carpet too. I have a lot of makeup bags and nail polishes all over I have jewelry hanging and a lot of designs in my room. My walls are are full of posters an my walls are colorful.
I love my room and I have magazines a lot actually and bags hanging all over as much as shoes all over the place. I have a big closet and it's packed of so much clothes and purses as much as shoes. I have scarfs hanging in this colorful lamp and I have a flat screen tv. hanging in my wall and I love to watch movies and put music. Also I have three big radios because I have a lot of cd's and I love to put the music all loud.

Hello eveyone,
I'd like to tell you about my favourite food. It's beef noodle. It's made if rice, beef, and many kinds of herbs. I usually eat beef noodle in the morning. My favourite restaurant is Cuong Noodle. It's a small restaurant located on Tran Hung Dao street in Ho Chi Minh city. Whenever i eat beef noodle, it always makes me have a special taste. Hanoi capital is famous for beef noodle. What's more, it's also well-known for a lot of delicious foods. For example Omai, frilled rice...
At home, my mother makes beeff noodle very well. She often makes it when my family get toghether. We enjoy the happy time when we have beef noodle at home.

I often have flu. When I have flu, I often feel very tired and miserable. However, I have some ideas to avoid the illness. Firstly, it very good if you eat more vegetables and fruits. It problems many vitamins such as vitamin A, B, C, etc. Secondly, don't drink too much cold water because it is very bad for our health, especially our throats. Finally, it is very important to keep us warm in the winter. It will help us avoid getting flu. My mother often takes care of me when I have cold or flu. She always reminds me that : " You should take the medicines as the doctor gave ". In the future, I hope I will avoid the disease because of the things I do above.
Pho is one of the Vietnam traditional food. It first appeared in Vietnam a long time ago. Pho is made from rice noodles, beef stock, meat such as beef or chicken, and some kind of herbs. First, the beef stock is boiled to make broth. In the boiled, they often add sliced ginger and roasted onions to get that 'pho' smell. Then, rice noodles and beef or chicken are quickly boiled, then put into a bowl with some herbs. Finally, hot broth is poured into the bowl, making a lovely bowl of pho. When we eat Pho, we use chopsks and a spoon. Before we eat the noodles, we should take a sip of hot broth. Then, we can smell the taste of roast ginger and onions. and we can make sure it isn't too hot. In Hanoi, Pho is not expensive. For only 25,000 VND, we can eat a deliciuos bowl of Pho. People sell it from early morning until late at night. So, we can eat Pho at anytime we want to. In Hanoi, Pho is very important because it has a unforgettable taste, so people who come to visit Hanoi need to try it .

My favorite movie is cartoon “Tom and Jerry”. Tom is a cat with blue and white color. He keeps the house for a normal family and has a very free life. His job is chasing Jerry day by day. Jerry is a brown house mouse. He usually lives in the deep cave behind the wall. Although they hate each other so much and always find ways to hurt opponent but when Tom or Jerry falls into really dangerous situations, then both become another savior. The film is an endless confrontation between Tom and Jerry, bring plenty of laughter for the audiences. I love this film because when I watch it I feel very glad, feeling like returned to childhood.

Tet is the most well-known holiday in Vietnam. It is celebrated all over the country. It mostly goes on for 3 days: 1st, 2nd and 3rd of January - Lunar Calendar.
Before Tet, people who work far away from home go back to join their family for the holiday. People clean up their houses, decorate it with Mai and Dao blossom, as well as other bonsais.
On Tet holiday, people cook feasts with various dishes to show dedication to their ancestors. A dish of 5 different kinds of fruit is also put on the altar as a tradition.
People go to relatives' and friends' places to wish them good luck, prosperity and health. Children are always excited since they will get their "salary" - lucky money in the red envelope on this occasion.
Tet is the oppoturnity for everyone to gather with their family, to rest after a long hard-working year, to refresh and prepare for a brand new year of greatness and happiness.

I would like to talk about an exciting holiday where I went to the city of Nha Trang. It’s a lovely coastal city locates in the southern part of Vietnam. Me and my friends decided to spend our holiday there because we wanted to experience a different part of the country and see life by the beach.
There are several public transport system to get to Nha Trang. We took a train from Saigon to Nha Trang, it was an 8 hours trip so it was a bit hectic and frustrating but the joy and excitement compensated for it all. However, if you fly there, it will only take you about 1 hour and it should be more comfortable than traveling by train.
There were so many activities but we were only able to do just a few things on our three day trip. We got around the islands by cruise which was an amazing experience for use because we all like sightseeing. Taking part in the Vietnamese cuisine workshop was also a great fun. We bought fresh ingredients at the local flea market and learned how to use a wok to fry fresh fish and other seafood like crab and lobster. There are also lots of flavorful authentic local specialties in the market as well.
We absolutely enjoyed our holiday trip and we actually are planning on another trip so we can try out more activities in the graceful and charming Nha Trang. Be able to see the vibrant lifestyle of the locals and aesthetically of the landscape was something we will never forget. It is very much a worth-living city.
Last year , on summer holiday , when I had just passed the entrance exam to Ha Noi University of technology , my father took me to Ho Chi Minh city for a few days . As being eager for the trip , I prepared many things such as clothes , camera ... Eventually it came . When we got on the plane , I was very glad and the flight took off pricise time . Unlike almost everyone who felt ill at the beginning of the flight , I felt very comfortable . When the plane was floating in the air , I looked over the windown of the plane . Oh , I saw an incredibly beautiful scene . Everything was only lights that were sparkling and subtle . Two hours and a half later , we arrived in Ho Chi Minh city . We caught a taxi to go straight to my uncle’s house which nearly the airport . Next day , we woke up early , preparing to visit the city on my uncle’s motorbike . Who didn’t know that the streets in HCM city were as crowded as in Ha Noi city and I found that everyone was in a hurry . First , we stopped at Dam Sen water park where I enjoyed many aquatic games like slipping from a whirl of water , slithering in gutter , rolling with water and so do on . After that , we had a excellent lunch there . The foods was arranged as a party with many , many dishes : grill leg of turkey , bacon , beef , big crab , lobster , salmon , tuna , etc with various drinks such as cocacola , pepsi , beer and some wine made from grapes . After a while , my belly was full but I still was eatting some dessert . There are some dessert to choose such as melon , grapes , pear . Finally , I got a cup of coffee . I was very relaxed by flourve of it . Next , we slept for a long time and then drove motorbike in the streets about nightfall .We went snowly by motorbike and there were so many fun gave me on the day . Nightlife was animate . All shop was being opened with colourful lights , many vehicles were going in the streets and some people were going on foot in pavement to the streets became bustling and clamourous . About ten o’clock , we went back home to ready for next day that is enjoyable . It’s joyful memory . Furthermore , it’s reward to me for I passed one's examination to studying at HUT so it remind me that I must try to study very well.
