Tet is a traditional holiday of our country Vietnam.
The season of Tet occurs around the biginning of February and end of Janaurỵ The meaning of Tet is ending old year and welcome a new year. Tet holiday is very special for Vietnamese families to reunite. At that time, all family members try to come back their homes and get together to prepare for Tet. Moreover they will buy new clothes and clean their house. A branch of Mai flower or a Kumquat tree can't be absent from every home. They bring a fresh atmosphere to the house. We decorate ancestral altar with a tray full of fruits and flowers.
Some typical Tet's food such as sweets, coconut jam, candied fruits, lemon seeds, rice cake , "thit kho"( stew pork with eggs). A special food can not absent is sticky rice cake.. It is our country's traditional food on Tet holiday. Tet meal is more dilicious than our every day.
On Tet holiday, people have many typical activities. Young persons takes part in the traditional games such as: tug; cooking rice, cock fighting, watching lion dance. Many people visit relatives to wish a happy new year. A dults will give lucky money for children. Woman like going to pagoda to wish good things will come to their familỵ
In my oppinion, i like cozy and fresh Tets atmosphere. All member of family talk together about a happy new year. I can hang out with my friend and don't worry about any thịng
" Tet" holiday is always in Vietnamese's heart.

In my last holiday, I went to Hawaii. When I 1(go).....went........ to the beach for the first time, something wonderful happened. I 2(swim) ......was swimming........ in the sea while my mother was sleeping in the sun. My brother was building a castle and my father 3(drink)....was drinking......... some water. Suddenly I 4.(see).........saw.... a boy on the beach. His eyes were blue like the water in the sea and his hair 5(be) ..........was.... beautiful black. He 8.(tell)...told......... me that his name was John. He 9.(stay) ....stayed....... with me the whole afternoon. In the evening, we met again. We ate pizza in a restaurant. The following days we 10(have) .........had...... a lot of fun together. At the end of my holidays when I left Hawaii I said good-bye to John. We had tears in our eyes. He wrote to me a letter very soon and I answered him.

Watching TV is one of my favourite pastime activity. I usually watch cartoons so the cartoon I love best is Detective Conan write by Aoyama Gosho. . That is a story tells about revolve around a the cases. Kudo Shinichi is a high school student and also a detective, he always helps the polices in many cases. But at one day during the investigation, he was discovered by a member of the Black Organization. They gave him a small capsule pack (called APTX 4869), but the poison did not kill him, just causing his body to become a child. So he must changed his name, and his new name is Edogawa Conan and lives with Ran- his best friend and Ran's father - Mori. However, in that child body, he still helps the polices by many invents by Dr. Agasa Hiroshi. He has to go to Primary School and there, he meet five friends and they become a small detective team. That's a very great film. If you don't like to watch, you also can read comics!

In all tv program, I Giong Ai Giong Ai program best. It's will start at quater past seven on HTV7 channel every Saturday. The program has a funny MC. His name is Dai Nghia. The judges are Tran Thanh, Thu Trang, Truong Gian, Oc Thanh Van and two guest judges. The program are very funny and useful. They can help we relax after week hard-working.

Hello everyone , my name is Mona . I am twelve years old and I am a student in class 5A at Gia Loc town primary school . In my free time , I often listen to music . I every kinds of music I use to listen . Every time I listen to music , I dance and sing along . My favourite singer is Taylor Swift . Everyday I listen to her music . It so great ! On Saturday and Sunday afternoon , I going to the music club with my best friend - Suzune Rina . Listening to music is a good way to learn English .

My house is the place I love the best in my life. It is a small house on a 150 meters weighty land. It is behind another one, so the wide of the road to my house is very narrow about 1 meter. But it is very lovely to me. It has a living room, a dining room, a kitchen room, a bathroom, two bed room, and a store room. Additionally, it also has a very beautiful garden.In the living room, there is a shelf for a television, VCD Driver, and two speakers in the Western next to a table with two armchairs and one sofa. This is the place my family watch Television and talk together every evening as well as to talk to visitors.The dining room has a glass table with 6 armchairs for 5 members of the family to have meals. Besides, it also has a glass cupboard to store whatever my grandparents give my parents. So, The cupboard is very valuable and meaningful for my family.Maybe, the kitchen room is the most favourite place for me because she like cooking very much. She is very happy when someone feels good tasting. I love all dishes she makes. What is delicious!My parents use one bed room and the other for my younger sister and me.The bathroom and toilet is the end of my house. It is between the kitchen room and the garden.The garden is placed I love the best because it has many kinds of flowers with many beautiful colors. That makes me forget all the problems I meet. When I am sad I often go to this place to see flowers and green leaves. That is a very peaceful place.To summarize, my house is the most important and meaningful place for me. That is the place I was born and grow with all sadness and happiness I have.I love it.

There are many things in this world you can interested in, but there is only one thing make you happy, is your house with your family live in. My house is not a very big, but not very small.. It's very large if talking about area, it's about 75 square meters. It have a colour of blue with 4 floors. My house always have 3 motorbike in the houseyard for my parents and my sister. Inside the house, in the first floor, there is a living room, a kitchen and a restroom. My grandpa always watching TV in the living room while my grandma is cooking in the kitchen. In the second floor, it's my grandparents rooms. In the left is my grandma room, and in the right is the grandpa one. It also have a restroom for them. In the third floor, that's my parents room and my room. I very very love my room because it has many memories and things that I love and consider them treasures. And in the tallest floor, the fourth floor, in the left, it has an altar room, and my grandma sometimes come inside it and pray for my family a better live. In the right side, it's clothesline room. My father also planted a lots of orchid inside it. To summarize, my house is the most important and meaningful place for me. That's the place I was born and grow with all sadness and happiness I experienced .I love it so much, love it more than anyone in the world.

I would like to talk about an exciting holiday where I went to the city of Nha Trang. It’s a lovely coastal city locates in the southern part of Vietnam. Me and my friends decided to spend our holiday there because we wanted to experience a different part of the country and see life by the beach.
There are several public transport system to get to Nha Trang. We took a train from Saigon to Nha Trang, it was an 8 hours trip so it was a bit hectic and frustrating but the joy and excitement compensated for it all. However, if you fly there, it will only take you about 1 hour and it should be more comfortable than traveling by train.
There were so many activities but we were only able to do just a few things on our three day trip. We got around the islands by cruise which was an amazing experience for use because we all like sightseeing. Taking part in the Vietnamese cuisine workshop was also a great fun. We bought fresh ingredients at the local flea market and learned how to use a wok to fry fresh fish and other seafood like crab and lobster. There are also lots of flavorful authentic local specialties in the market as well.
We absolutely enjoyed our holiday trip and we actually are planning on another trip so we can try out more activities in the graceful and charming Nha Trang. Be able to see the vibrant lifestyle of the locals and aesthetically of the landscape was something we will never forget. It is very much a worth-living city.
Last year , on summer holiday , when I had just passed the entrance exam to Ha Noi University of technology , my father took me to Ho Chi Minh city for a few days . As being eager for the trip , I prepared many things such as clothes , camera ... Eventually it came . When we got on the plane , I was very glad and the flight took off pricise time . Unlike almost everyone who felt ill at the beginning of the flight , I felt very comfortable . When the plane was floating in the air , I looked over the windown of the plane . Oh , I saw an incredibly beautiful scene . Everything was only lights that were sparkling and subtle . Two hours and a half later , we arrived in Ho Chi Minh city . We caught a taxi to go straight to my uncle’s house which nearly the airport . Next day , we woke up early , preparing to visit the city on my uncle’s motorbike . Who didn’t know that the streets in HCM city were as crowded as in Ha Noi city and I found that everyone was in a hurry . First , we stopped at Dam Sen water park where I enjoyed many aquatic games like slipping from a whirl of water , slithering in gutter , rolling with water and so do on . After that , we had a excellent lunch there . The foods was arranged as a party with many , many dishes : grill leg of turkey , bacon , beef , big crab , lobster , salmon , tuna , etc with various drinks such as cocacola , pepsi , beer and some wine made from grapes . After a while , my belly was full but I still was eatting some dessert . There are some dessert to choose such as melon , grapes , pear . Finally , I got a cup of coffee . I was very relaxed by flourve of it . Next , we slept for a long time and then drove motorbike in the streets about nightfall .We went snowly by motorbike and there were so many fun gave me on the day . Nightlife was animate . All shop was being opened with colourful lights , many vehicles were going in the streets and some people were going on foot in pavement to the streets became bustling and clamourous . About ten o’clock , we went back home to ready for next day that is enjoyable . It’s joyful memory . Furthermore , it’s reward to me for I passed one's examination to studying at HUT so it remind me that I must try to study very well.
