2. Greeting Yen Son school, Nam and I LIKE doing something differently this year. We are at Bac Giang Youth activity Centre. People ARE here every summer to learn about SOME hobbies and interest. I am learning English and Nam Is learning about computer. We GET up at six every morning and do lessons FROM seven to half past eleven. We have LUNCHat twelve and then there are more lessons. We work very HARD but we are very happy. We are HAVING wonderful time here. It is a QUARTER past seven in the morning now, and we are sitting on the grass in FRONTof the Centre. Interviewer Hello, everyone.Today on Sports Matters, my guest is Kelly Fisher. Kelly is seventeen years old and she's a cheerleader in the Jamesville High School cheerleading team. Hi Kelly, and welcome to the show.
Kelly Thank you.
Interviewer Now how many girls have you got in your team?
Kelly Twelve girls. We're all sixteen or seventeen years old.
Interviewer No boys, then?
Kelly No, no boys. But they can join the team, if they want to. It's for everyone! But at the moment the boys in our school aren't interested in cheerleading.
Interviewer How often do you train, Kelly? Once o' twice a week?
Kelly No, in winter we train three times a week after school, and in summer we train six days a week.
Interviewer Six cays a week in summer! Wow! That's a lot.
Kelly Yes, we have competitions in the summer, so we train hard for them.
Interviewer And what happens at the competitions? Do you cheer?
Kelly No, we don't. We just do our routine. We only cheer at school sports events, like basketball or football matches.
Interviewer What do you cheer? Can you do it for us?
Kelly OK.'We're number one! Can't be number two! Hey, let's fight! Win tonight!'
