1. Hello, everybody! My name is...... . Today I am here to present to you about Favorite TV shows. I very watching cartoons. And of all the film I have seen, “Grave of the fireflies” is one in the cartoons which I most. In Vietnamese it’s called is “Can ham đom đom” or “Mo đom đom”. It’s a tragic story about two childents in the war. It’s made from Japan by Ghibli studio, directed and written by Takahata Isao. It is based on a nover of Nosaka Akiyuki. It’s written as a apologize to his sister. With Japanese, this film is understand as a fable about the respect. Film is been in historical background at the end of the seconds world war from Japan. Film tells a painful story but moving to brothers sentiment of two orphanages : Seita and Setsuko. They lost mother after a fierce bombing of American air force to Kobe city while their father combat for Japanese navy. So Seita and Setsuko must to struggle to exist between the famine and the resistance to merciless of surrounding people (that have their kinship). They have to live in a shelter-pit and often eat frogs and lizards. At the end, Setsuko have to die for hunger, pictures depict painfulness and the death of little girl can be considered as the most mournful film pictures in the cartoon Japan history. 2. My favorite hobby is playing football in spare time. After completing my home work at home, I generally spend my lot of free time in playing football. I was so interested to play football from my childhood however started learning to play well when I was 5 years old. I was in one class when I was 5 years old. My father asked to my class teacher in the PTM about my hobby of football. And my teacher told him that there is a facility of playing sports daily in the school from class 1 so you can admit your child. Now, I really enjoy playing football and paripate in the inter-school competitions.
3. I work for Pentax cameras, in the export department. I don’t have a lot of free time, but I have one special hobby taking photographs, of course! I taking photographs of flowers, especially in spring. Sometimes, after work, I relax in a bar near my office with friends. My friend, Tung, s singing pop songs in the bar. This has a special name, Karaoke. I don’t sing. I’m too shy! I just watch him.
4, My dream home would be on the ocean, well not on the ocean but beside it with a white sandy beach. The house would be an A frame backed against a hill. The upper floor would be a half floor master bedroom with a kingsize water bed and ensuite with a hot tub and sauna. The front wall would be glass with a stairway coming up to the bedroom. On cloudy nights you could watch the floresents in the waves coming into the beach while you went to sleep. Other nights you could counting the stars in the western sky.
On the main floor would be the kitchen-dining room combination, with all the newest appliances and an island in the middle of the kitchen with the stove top and hanging pots and pans over it. The sink would be under one of the windows. Under the other window would be the nook for family meals. Between the kitchen windows, which look out to the field where the horses would be enjoying the warm weather are the cupboards. The dining room would have a six chair pine table set and hutch china cabnet. There will also be a three piece bathroom off the kitchen. The living room is in the front with the big front window. The fireplace is on the side wall with small long windows overlooking the driveway to the road a half mile away. The three piece sectional is perfectly positioned to watch the sunset into the western sea. The basement has the laundry room at the back with sewing machine for mending before folding and taking clothes upstairs. Half of the front of the basement is a guest bedroom with ensuite and small fridge and two element stove. The computer room is also at the front of the basement. Both have views of the beach and sea. Opposite the laundry room is my husband's workshop. I don't know what he has in there as it is his domain. In the garage at the side of the house is our wine colored 94 Toyota Crasada and my husband's hog. We often ride the bike along the beach on warm evenings to visit friends.

1. In TV, there are many kinds of programs : music , learn English , cartoon , News ..... and so on but I cartoon the most , the cartoon I watching is Tom and Jerry . In this cartoon , Tom and Jeny are main charaters . Tom is a cat with blue and white , he is a house keeper and he has free life . Jeny is a brown mouse , he very small and cute but he can run very fast . Jeny always gets Tom with trouble with the bull dog , and Tom often tries his best to catch Jeny but he never succesful . My favourite restaurant is a small one near my university! It's on a busy street very near to a large park. It is quite a neat and beautiful place. From the outside, the restaurant doesn't look very impressive. There are large glass windows at the front, and some benches outside for people to sit on while waiting. Inside it has lots of square green wooden tables, each with about four white chairs around them. The walls are painted light green, and there are many nice scenery pictures on them. The restaurant has two floors; I prefer the second one, because there I can sometimes get a window seat and enjoy watching people go past in the street outside. The restaurant serves mainly breakfast and lunch meals. It serves many Vietnamese dishes and also fast food. The restaurant also has a wide selection of delicious, home-made cakes and they do really good coffee. However, of all the dishes in this restaurant I fried chicken the most. It's very tasty. I think the reason I this restaurant is because of its food and its staff. The staff members are helpful and friendly, so customers often have a pleasant time in this restaurant. The food is delicious as I've said. In general the service here is good. That's why my friends and I often go there when we want to eat out.

Tet is traditional holiday in Vietnam. Everyone comebacks home to reunite their family. They buy gifts to give their family and their friends. Market has many types of cakes, fruits, food and flowers to serve for Tet. Special 30th December Lunar calendar, family is sitting around cooking fire to cook Banh Chung – a type has in Tet, and wait for and welcome new year. Start a lucky year, they gives lucky money together, its name’s Li Xi. Houses are decorated and painted and people buy news clothes to visit near relation. Tet is occasion to visit graves and meet old classmate. Tet has many festival; for example, flower, fireworks… and has many games; for example, Bai Choi, Dap Nieu Dat… In conclusion, tet is the time for people to understand and occasion to relax after they are assiduously working and make close relation.
I think a picnic can give us so much fun and entertainment. From our regular boring life, we need to take a break and go for a small picnic. A few weeks ago, I had a picnic with my college friends. We visited the historical Jaisalmer Fort in Rajasthan. As you all know that it is a very popular fort among the tourists.
A huge number of tourists visit this place often. We hired a car because we were four only. And a car was enough for us. It took 4 hours in driving and reaching there. We started our journey early in the morning, and that’s why we reached a little quickly.
Last week I went on a picnic with my friend. This is my first time going on a picnic so I'm very excited. Many people say that picnics are fun, I think that's true. That day we went camping in the park. When we finished eating and going fishing, I was very happy. I did not expect my friend to catch a carp but I did not have any, but the bait for the fish was all over. However, after this picnic, I am very excited and very happy. To me, one of my best friends is Nam. Nam is only over eighteen but he is well developed; so he is thought to be twenty or more. He has black hair, a broad forehead, a straight nose and bright eyes. He is very good-looking. He has a kind heart and is easy to get on with everybody. We have been friends for a very long time. The deeper our mutual understanding becomes the more we feel closely attached to each other. “Birds of a feather flock together”, Nam and I are keen on learning. We are the best pupils in our class. Nam is always at the top. He is good at every subject, but he never shows pride in his abilities and always tries to learn harder.
Nam’s family is not rich enough. His parents are retired workers. Realizing the hardships of his parents, although he is absorbed in his study, he often spends most of his spare time doing useful things to help his parents in their old age. He gets up early in the morning to have enough time to deliver newspapers to subscribers before going to school.After school in the afternoon, he repairs bicycles and motorbikes. Therefore the money he gets from his manual job is sufficient for his school fees and for his parents’ presents. I like Nam very much because of his honesty and straight forwardness. He is always ready to help his weak friends in their study; as a result, lots of friends, thanks to his whole-hearted help, have become good ones.
In my relation with Nam, I have got precious experience: thirst for learning, patience to overcome difficulties, helpfulness and filial piety.
My best friend is Lan. We have known each other since we were 10 years old. However we became best friends when we were at grade 7. At that time I was very bad at English and it was who helped me improve my English. Now she lives with her parents in Nguyen Trai street.
If I were to describe how she looks I would say she is very pretty. She has long black hair a straight nose and a small pointed chin. She is quite slim. She doesn t like to dress up so I usually see her wearing jeans and a T - shirt. She has a very nice personality and a wonderful sense of humour but she can also get a little depressed from time to time. I can always count on her to be honest and to give me the best advice.
What I like about Lan is that she has same hobbies with me. We both enjoy singing karaoke reading comic books and going shopping. We like going to the cinema but sometimes can t agree on which movie to see. In addition since I am better in Maths and Chemistry and she is better in English and languages we can always help each other if we get confused about a difficult homework assignment. We are so lucky that we get along so well. I hope that our friendship can last long.
Every year is the same, every Tet comes, my family is all preparing for Tet. Arranging to run quickly to the alley to buy peach branches for the new year, he cleaned the house and the altar was clean. Mother vases fresh flowers and draft fruits to the altar. Leftover leaves, incentives for the whole family to pack banh chung. Each person has to do things, sometimes joking around, making the spring atmosphere even more cheerful and warm. On the evening of the 30th of Tet, the whole family turned to clothes outside the rice cooker and welcomed the New Year's Eve moments, watching the fireworks and praying for a new year to heal. On the first day of the new year, I wear new clothes with my father to celebrate Tet with my grandparents, grandparents and uncles give lucky money at the beginning of the year. Those are very happy moments, I hope every New Year family will be just as happy and warm.
