Getting policies right for issues like self-driving cars and unmanned aerial vehicles is tough, but doable. Latin America isn’t significantly behind the regulatory curve. Even in the U.S., only a few states have passed rules regulating self-driving vehicles, and the Federal Aviation Administration is just this year getting around to publishing regulations on civilian drone use. Once the region’s policymakers realize that these safety issues are less than a decade away (if not already here today), they will, hopefully, begin to act.
However, addressing the impact of robotics on the economy and the labor market is much more difficult. How does the region prepare for a technology revolution that will upend millions of jobs and dozens of industries vital to regional economies? How can Latin American countries prevent the inevitable wave of economic disruption from escalating into a crisis of political stability?
There is nothing Latin American governments can or should do to slow technology’s progress in their countries.
Instead, they need to find ways to embrace the positive aspects of robotics. Even if the above sections appear a bit pessimistic, the potential of self-driving cars to reshape urban transportation, of unmanned drones to remake the logistics industry, and of robotics in general to make industries more productive and to push the boundaries of what is technologically possible could provide great benefits to Latin America and the rest of the world.
Some of the policies needed to address advances in robotics are obvious. Nearly everyone agrees on the importance of building educated, innovative and adaptive workforces. However, the reality of building those workforces requires Latin American governments to make politically difficult choices. These include raising taxes to pay for investments in education from pre-kindergarten to post-graduate levels that will enable the next generation to succeed.
Additionally, while government investment in research and development is essential, innovation is really going to come from the bottom up. Policymakers need to streamline the process of building businesses and—perhaps more importantly—of creating cultural and legal frameworks in which innovative, technology-driven businesses can fail productively. Innovation requires entrepreneurs to take risks, but they are less likely to do so when harsh bankruptcy laws and a culture that punishes unsuccessful risk-takers in the business environment hold those entrepreneurs back.
On education, small-business creation, social safety nets, and regulations, the policy choices made in the next 10 years are going to determine whether Latin America embraces the benefits of robotics or faces a new lost decade, as it did in the 1980s. The economic transition to a greater use of automation and artificial intelligence is going to disrupt economies and create social tension, but some of the difficulties can be mitigated and some opportunities can be grasped if the region begins acting early.
The most important step is to get more of Latin America’s politicians, think tanks and civil society to discuss and debate the coming technology revolution. Unfortunately, many of the hemisphere’s political leaders spend more time discussing Cold-war era disputes than technology issues affecting the vast majority of Latin America today and into the coming decade.
The region’s politicians aren’t going to spend time discussing robotics until they feel pressure from voters and civil society.

Now there are many problems of environment pollution such as: air pollution, water pollution, soil pollution, noise pollution and deforestation, but I think the most serious problems is rubbish
The rubbishs is not good for healh and environment. We should reduse the rubbish in activity daily
Firstly, we need to use reuse thing such as : we use bottles of milk, vace and water.Secondaly, we should to plant trees and vegetables to we need to fresh food. Thirsly, we use reusable thing such as: reusable base, paper bags. Finally, we should't pick up rubbish in parks or in the strees

Environmental pollution is a major problem today. It makes us suffer from respiratory diseases, breathing,.... Water pollution causes fish to die and rivers are polluted. Deforestion destroys the floods of people. Air pollution causes breathing problems. Soil pollution makes plants die. Noise pollution causes hearing problems. So, where pollution comes from ? That's in humans.
People need to breathe. If they don't breathe, they will die. But how clean is the air people breathe ? If they breathe dirty air, they will have breathing problems and become ill. Plants and animals need clean air too. A lot of the things in our lives create harmful gases and make the air dirty, like cars, motorbikes and factories. Dirty air is called polluted air.
Let's protect the environment for a green planet !
Enviroment is the most important thing for our life. Enviroment is the air we breath, the water we drink and is everything we need for our life. But now that most important thing for our life is being polluted and by many different ways. This pollution affects the health of living things. Air is damaged by car and lorry fumes, and power stations create acid rain which destroys entire forests and lakes. When fossil fuels i.e. oil, gas and coal are burned to provide energy for lighting, cooking etc. they form polluting gases. Not only on land but also in the sea, oils spills pollute sea water and kill marine life; chemical waste from factories and sewage works, and artificial fertilisers from farmland, pollute river water, killing wildlife and spreading disease. Everything is being caused by human’s existence. Humans create such a lot of rubbish! Each household produces about 1 tonne of rubbish every year! Most of this is taken away by dustmen and buried in enormous landfill sites or burned in incinerators - both of these actions can be dangerous for the environment.
But only we can change it and solve it. Pollution can be prevented by thing we do everyday. First we can use recycled paper to help save trees. Second try to avoid buying plastic. It's hard to recycle. One way to cut down on plastic is to refuse to use carrier bags. If we can’t avoid buying plastic bags, we should use re-use plastic bags over and over again, until they wear out. Finally we should take your old clothes to charity shops, some are sold. To protect environment we also have to save energy. Use less energy by switching off lights when rooms are not in use, not wasting water; don’t forget to switch off all electric things when they are not in use, use a bicycle or walk instead of using a car for short trips we can save energy, keep clean atmosphere and keep healthy life. Lighting accounts for 10 percent to 15 percent of the electricity bill. However, this amount can be reduced by replacing an ordinary 100-watt light bulb with an energy-saving bulb and we still trying to invent the new thing to save money as well as conserve the Earth’s resources.
Keep clean environment isn’t only all ways are mentioned before but also to protect natural resources. That is the way to conserver wild life. First we need to conserve the old forest, rainforest, build more safari and national park, and plant more trees to make place to live for wild animals. Second we need to prohibit hunters who hunt animals too many out of the law allowance.
Finally, we now know that enviroment is the most important thing for life and we know how to protect and use it scientifically. Everyday we invent and find more and more way to protect enviroment. I hope that in the future the earth will be cleaner.
As you know, we are polluting our enviroment seriously. I think we should do someting to protect our enviroment.
Firstly, we should reduce air pollution by going to work or school by bike insteadof using motorbikes or cars.
Secondly, we ought to reduce th amount of rubbish we produce everyday by using cloth bags intead of plastic bags. Finally, we had better reuse empty bottles or cans.
We also sort of garbage and send to the recycling centure. If we do those things well, we will makes our world greener and save a lot of money.
