Hello everyone, my name is Nguyễn Tiến Đức. This year I am 14 years old, I live in thai binh. There are four members in my family, including my parents, elder brother and me. My name is Long and I’m a Vietnamese. I am twenty-four years old. I live in Ho Chi Minh city in the south of Vietnam.
I have a big family with six people. I have two sisters and a brother. My sisters are older and my brother is younger than me. My father is a teacher at a secondary school. He has worked for 35 years in the field and he is my biggest role model in life. My mother is a housewife. She is nice and she is really good at cooking. I love my family so much.
I’m a generous and easy-going person but when it comes to work I’m a competitive perfectionist. I’m also an optimis and outgoing person so I have many friends and other social relationships. I enjoy reading, writing and doing math. I decided to become a Civil Engineer because I have always been fascinated by bridges, buildings, and skyscrapers. A degree in Civil Engineering enables me to achieve my goals and also gives me an opportunity to make a difference in the community.
Five years from now, I want to become a project manager of a construction project. As a project manager, my primary goals are managing people, set budgets, and making decisions of all kinds. I also want to speak English fluently so I can work with people from different countries.

Mount Everest, which literally means “the top or the head of the sky,” is the tallest mountain on Earth. The mountain itself touches the borders of Tibet and Nepal and is a part of the Himalayan Range. During 1856, the name of Mount Everest was Peak XV, but the Geographical Society gave it its official name in 1865 in honor of George Everest. Its total height above sea level is 29,029 feet.Despite the fact it is the highest peak in the world, hikers and adventurers from all over the world come and attempt to climb this mountain. A whole team of climbers can help both amateur and novice climbers get to the peak. If one follows the standard route to climb, it can be quite safe. However, the problem is that the Himalayas are faced with bad weather and fast wind, leading to difficulty breathing at the high altitude.Climbers must pay large amount of money to climb the mountain. This fee acts as a continuous source of income to Nepal. However, an equal amount of $25,000 has to be raised to get a license and permit to climb Mount Everest. Until 2007, 210 people have lost their lives to bad weather conditions while trying to climb Mount Everest.There are two main routes for climbing Mt. Everest. One is from southeast of Nepal and the other is from north of Tibet. The most preferred route out of the two is the one from Nepal. The best time to start climbing is in May before the summer monsoon because the direction of the wind is quite favorable during that time.

My dream home would be very warm. It would have a milkshake maker, smoothie maker, ice cream maker, and a snow cone maker. It would have ten big and amazing floors. One of the rooms would be a puppy room with cute little puppies and they would all be girls. The room next to it would be a movie theater and it can give you an arm massage and back massage. Plus, there would be a mall with kids everything toys clothes shoes everything you can think of that a kid would . On the 9th floor there would be a mini Disney World with a replica Cinderella Castle. Some of the characters would be a the mini Disney World as well. Oh yeah I forgot! There would be an amusement park with roller coasters and so much more. Even with little kid rides. Next to it would be an waterpark. With millions of waterslides and so many water activities. Then there would be a massage bed for my friends. family, and my teachers, Mrs Votta, Mrs. Nugent, and my third grade teacher from last year Ms. Amato. They could design their room however they want and guess what?! They can come whenever they want. I hope everybody loves kittens and cats because there would be a giant kitten room and cat room. I hope my dream house will get built so that way me, my friends, my teachers, and most of all my family can come and enjoy it with me!

My house is located in a small quiet alley. That’s a pretty pink house which consists of 6 rooms in totally: a living room, a kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom and two bedrooms. There are a white leather sofa, a television and a sideboard in the living room. After dinner, my father will turn on the television, choose a great movie and we watch it happily. Next to the living room is the kitchen where is used for cooking and enjoying the meals. In the middle of the room is a dinner table which is made from wood. Three cookers, a refrigerator and all the necessary stuff for cooking is arranged carefully in the right corner of the room. In the left of the kitchen is a clean toilet. Beside the toilet is the bathroom which is equipped a shower and a bathtub. There are only two rooms upstairs that is my parents’ room and my private room. I’ve decorated my bedroom with adorable wallpaper and many lovely stuffed animals. A single bed is placed next to the window so that I can stargaze before falling asleep. In the opposite of the bed are my desk and my bookshelf that contains many kinds of book. There are also an old television and a piano in my bedroom. I especially love the piano because that was the gift from dad in my birthday. In every Christmas or Tet holiday, all member of my family ornament the house together and then gather in the kitchen to cooking. Although my house is not too big but to me that is the most beautiful house in the world.

Tôi trang trí phòng của mình bằng giấy dán tường rất ngộ nghĩnh và nhiều thú nhồi bông dễ thương. Chiếc giường đơn được đặt cạnh cửa sổ để tôi có thể ngắm sao trước khi chìm vào giấc ngủ. Đối diện giường là bàn học và kệ sách chứa rất nhiều loại sách. Trong phòng của tôi còn có một chiếc tivi cũ và một chiếc đàn piano. Tôi đặc biệt thích chiếc đàn piano bởi vì đó là món quà mà tôi tặng sinh nhật tôi. Vào mỗi dịp tết hay giáng sinh, tất cả thành viên trong gia đình đều cùng trang trí căn nhà và tập trung dưới bếp để nấu ăn. Mặc dù ngôi nhà của không lớn nhưng đối với tôi đó là ngôi nhà đẹp nhất trên thế giới này.

That’s an ancient small French villa with a chimney and many old arc windows. The house is light blue that is my favourite colour. There are two floors and a terrace in the house. A living room and a kitchen are in the first floor. My grandfather put a sofa made from wood, an out-dated telvevision and a small aquarium with many colorful schools of fish. Behind the living room is the kitchen. The stuffs in the kitchen are quite old, exception gas stove and refrigerator. My grandmother told me that she had a lot of experiences in this kitchen because she almost spent all of her life to do household chorces and cooking. Next to the kitchen is a cute henhouse where grandmom often takes eggs to bake a best cake ever. There are 3 bedrooms and a workship room where is kept clean all the time in the second floor. The bedroom is very simple and corny. I have to admit that the bedroom looks very musky. When I was a kid, I always thought of scary things would happen to me if I fell asleep in a bedroom like that. And nothing happened to me, of course, that’s just my imagination. The last part of the house is the terrace which is my grandfather’s world. He has many strange beautiful birds whose names are difficult to remember, too. He lets the birds land in the trees which he planted a long time ago. Every morning, my grandparents do exercises and enjoy the fresh air there together. To everyone, that house may be very normal but to me that is the most perfect house in the world.

Và không có chuyện gì xảy đến cả, đó là do tôi tưởng tượng ra mà thôi. Phần cuối cùng trong căn nhà là sân thượng-thế giới riêng của ông. Ông nuôi rất nhiều loài lạ và đẹp có cái tên rất khó nhớ. Ông để cho chim chóc đậu trên những cái cây đã được trồng từ rất lâu rồi. Vào mỗi buổi sáng, ông bà của tôi cùng nhau tập thể dục và tận hưởng không khí mát lành trên đây cùng với nhau. Đối với mọi người đó có thể chỉ là một căn nhà bình thường nhưng đối với tôi đó là căn nhà tuyệt vời nhất trên thế giới.
