I live in a big house in the countryside and it is very beautiful. It has a living room, a kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. In the living room, there is a table, four chairs, a television and an air conditioner. My bedroom is very nice. There is a computer, a bed, a lamp and two pictures on the wall. And a bookshelf above the table, some teddy bears on the bed and a wardrobe. The kitchen has a refrigerator, a stove and a sink. Next to the kitchen is the bathroom. It has a shower, a washing machine and a tub. I love my house very much.
I live in a flat, with my partner in Vietnam. My flat is on the second floor.

There is a piece of furniture with glasses and DVDs, and there are some pictures on the walls. On the right, you can find the sitting-room. It has a burgundy sofa and two green armchairs. Opposite the sofa is the TV set. I go to sleep in front of the TV after lunch! There are some plants and there is a big window. This room has a lot of light. I love it!
The first room is my office. There is no bed / There isn’t a bed. It has three bookcases and a lot of books. There is a desk and there is a personal computer on the desk. There is a printer, too. There is a CD player and a lot of music CDs. There are a lot of pictures -- family photos and photos with friends.
Next, on the left you can find P’s office. P is my partner. He is a teacher. He loves reading, so he has a lot of books. He loves playing the guitar, too – the Spanish guitar. There is also a computer.
The third room is our bedroom. There is a double bed, an in-built closet, a long mirror, and two bedside tables with small lamps. There are no pictures on the wall. It’s very simple.
Opposite this bedroom, there is a bathroom. It doesn’t have a window / It has no window and the walls are brown. I don’t like this. So I use orange towels! There is a toilet, a wash-basin, a bath tub and a mirror. It’s OK.
At the end of this corridor you can go upstairs. There is an attic. It’s very big and it has a lot of light. There are two single beds, for friends. There is a toilet, too. There is a computer and a music equipment. There are a lot of books and music CDs. Finally, there is a cupboard for the vacuum cleaner/hoover and for my painting equipment. I love painting!
Finally, my neighbors are OK. They sometimes make a lot of noise, but they also help us.
I love my house, but it isn’t mine! I’m renting it!

A long time ago, I went to the beach. Before we left, we loaded all our beach gear into the car. Initially we had hoped to reach our destination, Pensacola, before midnight, but it seemed impossible. Just after we crossed the Georgia/Florida border my dad stopped at a hotel. Keeping quiet not to wake the others staying at the hotel, we tiptoed out at 6:00 A.M. Later the next morning, we arrived at the house in Pensacola. My mom’s friend and her family were staying with us. Never is there a dull moment when we are all together. Of course we were very tired from our trip, so we rested all day. Plenty of fun in the sun was in store for us the next day. Ready to get out on the beach I had forgotten something very important. Quite sunburned was I by the end of that day. Sunscreen had not been applied!
Too sunburned was I to go out and have fun. Unmovable, I lay on the couch, watching television. Very unhappy about this terrible mishap I whined and complained. While I rested, I dreamed of the fun I was missing. Extremely bored, with only one day left until we went home, I prayed I would get better. Yet I was already healed. Zooming off of the couch, I hopped into my suit and enjoyed my last day on the beach.

English, nowadays, became the international language in almost countries where people could exchange and share information together accurately and simply. Vietnamese civilians living in cities also tend to give their children into some english centers such as VUS or ILA to help them interract with English environment when they are young including my parents. I have studied English when I was in fifth grade. It has been an amazing time because using English to explore knowledge gives me more opportunities to encounter with the human civilization. However, I actually love learning English when I was in tenth grade, after watching a short video clip in the youtube talks about how to train your dogs act as a human beings. Up to now, I have learned English by myself than depending on teachers. My best method is learning with friends in the internet by using Skype, Yahoo, and joining English forums to gain other people’s experience. In my opinion, English is important because it was not a language, but it became a tool for people to connect together. Nobody can deny advantages of the internet, and English is seem to be a key to open the door of knowledge and information in the internet. If we do not know English, we cannot integrate with the global world, and falling behind is a definitely insight result. Thus, people should learn English when they have chance because it will beneficial to not only your future but also your lifetime.
I like many kind of music, especially I am interested in the US - UK songs. Thus, I studied English to understand the meaning of the songs I have heard. At first, I listened country music. They were quite slowly and it was quite easy to hear and understand them. Now, I can understand most of all the US - UK songs I have heard. That's so great!
I have usually spent my free time to listen the best songs. I like listening to music because my soul is relaxed when I listen.
