Okay ;v mình treo hoc24 được thời gian rồi =)) hnay vào lại thấy câu này,, mình lí luận thử coi có đc ko nhé :)

Here is some information about Jack when he was a child.

1/Once he fell into the river

2/ He cried on his first day at school.

3/Once he was bitten by a dog.

4/He scaried a cat when he was 5.

Cái clue để viết vấn đề này là : He can still remember 1,3 and he can't remember 2.4.

=> Câu 1,3 viết theo cấu trúc remember + V_ing (qk) như thường lệ.

=> Câu 2,4 : vì bạn này vẫn không nhớ hai điều này => đã không nhớ thì không chắc 2 điều này có xảy ra hay không, mình nghĩ nên viết với cấu trúc He can't remember if/whether he ....

Vậy viết như sau :

1/Once he fell into the river

=> He can remember falling into the river (when he was a child).

2/ He cried on his first day at school.

=> He can't remember if/whether he had cried on his first day at school or not.

3/Once he was bitten by a dog.

=> He can remember being bitten by a dog (when he was a child).

4/He scaried a cat when he was 5.

=> He can't remember if/whether he had scaried a cat when he was 5 or not.

Vậy nhé :) nếu có sai chỗ nào thì bình luận ở dưới, mình sẽ sửa lại sau :))

Chúc bạn học tốt :))

A boy named James Watt sat quitly by the firside, watching the lid of the tea kette as it moved up and down. He began to think; he wanted to find out why the steam in the kettle moved the heavy lid. But how was he to get the materials out of which to make the wheels and the mainspring? He soon found how to get them: he made the mainspring out of a piece of whalebone. He then made a wooden clock which kept good time. He began, also, to copy pictures with a pen, and portraits with oil colors. In a few years, while still a small boy, he earned money enough to support his father. When he became a man, he went to London to live.
