I often have flu. When I have flu, I often feel very tired and miserable. However, I have some ideas to avoid the illness. Firstly, it very good if you eat more vegetables and fruits. It problems many vitamins such as vitamin A, B, C, etc. Secondly, don't drink too much cold water because it is very bad for our health, especially our throats. Finally, it is very important to keep us warm in the winter. It will help us avoid getting flu. My mother often takes care of me when I have cold or flu. She always reminds me that : " You should take the medicines as the doctor gave ". In the future, I hope I will avoid the disease because of the things I do above.

Pho is one of the Vietnam traditional food. It first appeared in Vietnam a long time ago. Pho is made from rice noodles, beef stock, meat such as beef or chicken, and some kind of herbs. First, the beef stock is boiled to make broth. In the boiled, they often add sliced ginger and roasted onions to get that 'pho' smell. Then, rice noodles and beef or chicken are quickly boiled, then put into a bowl with some herbs. Finally, hot broth is poured into the bowl, making a lovely bowl of pho. When we eat Pho, we use chopsks and a spoon. Before we eat the noodles, we should take a sip of hot broth. Then, we can smell the taste of roast ginger and onions. and we can make sure it isn't too hot. In Hanoi, Pho is not expensive. For only 25,000 VND, we can eat a deliciuos bowl of Pho. People sell it from early morning until late at night. So, we can eat Pho at anytime we want to. In Hanoi, Pho is very important because it has a unforgettable taste, so people who come to visit Hanoi need to try it .

This is a tricky one really as I’m usually quite healthy … I’ve never been seriously ill … like everyone else I sometimes get a few aches and pains or catch a cold … I can remember a few months ago I had to have time off work with a heavy cold … I had the usual symptoms … a blocked nosesore throat … it lasted quite a while … about 2 weeks I think though I didn’t have that much time off work … for a few days I remember feeling poorly but I was over the worst of it after a few days and went back to work … I always find it’s better to be active when you feel ill as it keeps your mind off your symptoms … I think my family get a little fed up with me when I’m ill though … I tend to feel sorry for myself and lie on the sofa all day as if I’m at death’s door … but as I said earlier … on this occasion it was nothing serious and didn’t really cause me any problems …

The Temple of Literature was founded in 1070. Ly Nhan Tong decided to build the Imperial Academy in 1076. In 1483 the Imperial Academy was renamed Thai Hoc Vien. The university was a great success and many Vietnamese scholars gradute from this university. Chu van An is considered one of the most famous teachers there. It is also famous for 82 Doctors’ stone tablets. The Doctors’ stone tablets were first erected by King Le Thanh Tong in 1484. And in 2010, the 82 Doctors’ stone tablets were recognised by UNESCO. The four statues( Ly Thanh Tong, Ly Nhan Tong, Le Thanh Tong and Chu Van An) were built by Ha Noi people. They are the founders and the developers of the Temple of Literature – the Imperial Academy.

In life one of the most important things you can do is to look after your health. When we have a health problem we can go and see a doctor. Here we take a look at the English you need to discuss bad health. When you are feeling unwell, you need to see a doctor. Unfortunately, doctors are busy people so you have to make an appointment. This involves calling (or visiting) the doctor's clinic and making an appointment with the receptionist. When you make an appointment you arrange a date and a time when you can see the doctor. When you see the doctor he (or she) might ask you 'What's wrong?' or 'What's the problem?' A more specialised question is 'What are your symptoms?' Symptoms are any feelings of illness or discomfort which are caused by a health problem. E.g. If you had the flu (influenza) your symptoms would be a fever, a runny nose and I have been coughing. After telling the doctor your symptoms he will tell you the name of your problem. A diagnosis is when a doctor tells you the medical name of your problem.
For example, you tell your doctor your symptoms: 'I have a fever, a runny nose and I have been sneezing.' Your doctor says: 'My diagnosis is that you have the flu.'

It goes without saying that there are numerous factors health problems. In recent years, changing in people's eating habits has noticeable effects on people's health problems, so this factor should be taken into account as one of the underlying reasons. Undoubtedly, people prefer to eat fast food rather than home-made foods, which are healthier for human's body. Furthermore, an immense amount of saturated fat can be found in just a small portion of junk food, which can cause grave health problems in the future for people. Another important factor which causes health problems is to prefer sedentary rather than active works. Lack of mobility and inactivity are the legitimate reasons for various health problems. In recent years, most people spend a great deal of their time not only in front of computer's screen, but also in front of TV to watch different kinds of programs. As a result, obesity is becoming one of the primary phenomenons in 21st century.

This is a real Vietnamese curry. Although adapted from the Indian, which is always made with white potatoes, the Vietnamese version has the option of using white or sweet potatoes, the latter being greatly favored by the Vietnamese. The Indian in- fluence is greatest in the South, where curried dishes are more popular than elsewhere in Vietnam.

This is usually served with noodles as a party dish. When it is part of a family meal, it is eaten with rice. Bach serves this to her children for breakfast, when it is served with French bread–another influence on the cuisine of Vietnam.

If you are using fresh lemon grass, simply remove the outer leaves and upper two-thirds of the stalks, then cut the remainder into 2-inch lengths. If you are, using, it must be soaked in warm water for 2 hours, then drained and chopped fine.

Combine the curry powder, black pepper, sugar, add salt and marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 1 hour. Heat the oil and fry the potatoes over high heat until brown. (It is not necessary to
completely cook potatoes at this point, only to brown them.) When well browned, remove from the pan and set aside until ready to cook the curry. Pour off most of the oil from the pan, leaving 2 tablespoons for cooking the chicken.

Heat 2 tablespoons oil over a high flame. Fry the garlic for a few seconds, then add the bay leaves, onion, and lemon grass; stir briefly and add the marinated chicken, stirring long enough to sear the meat slightly. Add the 2 cups of water and carrot, then cover and bring to a boil. Turn the heat down and simmer for 5 minutes; uncover and stir, then cook, covered, for another 10 minutes. Remove the
cover and add the prefried potatoes, the coconut milk, and the milk. Cover again and simmer another 15 minutes. Serve with rice, Rice Sticks, or Japanese Alimentary Paste Noodles.
