Being a summer volunteer is one of the good things we can do in our student time. Instead of wasting our time playing games or wandering with our friends, we can join the Blue Summer campaign at schools. By doing so, we can become young volunteers to help people who are in need. I always remember last summer when our volunteer team had been to a poor countryside. That place even lacked of clean water and electricity, while in many other places people are wasting them. After a day of resting, we started to clean up the old school together, attended in the project of reconstructing a number of local bridges which funded by donors. We lived in some of the houses of the local people, and we spent time doing house chores, playing, and eating together. Although their lives are lacking of materials, their hearts are full of love and kindness. We helped them with our strength and the ebullient spirit of youth, and in return they took care of us so we could be safe and happy while we were away from home. After a month and a half, we successfully restored an old school and one bridge, and we built one more small new bridge. These things really helped children at that place had a better educational environment, and people had an easier road to go to work. Local people were very excited with those new constructions, and we promised to come back next summer to bring better things. When the volunteer trip ended, my parents were very happy when I came back home safely. I felt so proud of myself because I could prove that I was a mature person by helping other people. Summer is coming soon, and I cannot wait to be on my next volunteer trip together with my friends.

I met him first time when I was in the fifth grade and now we are in 8th standard in the same section.
He is very tall and looks different from my other classmates. Once I was very upset because of money problem. I could not buy all necessary books in the class 6. He asked me, what happened and I told him my story. He said that, for this small problem you are so worry and not happy for some days. He laughed and told me that don’t worry we can share all books in the school as well as at home. You don’t need to buy even any single book for whole year. After that he made me laugh through his jokes and stories. I never forget that moment he helped me and always become ready to help him too. He is so practical and never mixes the personal and professional life. He helps me always whenever I get difficulties in solving my Maths homework. Our likes and dislikes never match however we are best friends.

After each lesson is a breaktime. At breaktime, i and my friends come down the schoolyard to do exercise. After that, we play some games. The boys play football or shuttercocksport. The girls play skipping rope or blindman bluff. Under the tree, some groups of people talk, read books, magazine and comics or they joke. That's really fun. The atmostphere on my schoolyard at breaktime is so evenful.

Hung King’s Festival is one of the the greatest national festivals in Vietnam. Buffalo fighting is a unique and traditional festival of people in Do Son District, Haiphong City. This festival is not only associated with Water Goddess worshiping and sacrificing custom but also expressed bravery, chivalry, and risk-taking spirit of people in the coastal city of Haiphong. The festival is annually and officially operated on the 9th day of the 8th month in Vietnamese Lunar Calendar; however, its preparation takes participants nearly a year to process. From choosing the right buffaloes to buy, raising and training them—all of which require hard work and ongoing effort. For example, selection of fighting buffaloes only must be in great meticulosity as they must meet a wide range of requirements: at least 4 or 5 years old, wide chest, bow-shape horns, toned thighs, and long tail. Also, these buffaloes are kept separately from normal ones, and so on. The festival derives from the belief of Do Son’s locals that buffalo fighting is in favor of their guardian gods and hence a continuity of this activity brings them safe voyages, abundant crops as well as healthy and wealthy people—signs of prosperity and happiness.

Giang's hobby: Listening to music
Giang is my best friend, is the most wonderful friend of mine. Her hobby is listening to music, and Me too. She told me she started listening many kinds of music when she was a little girl.She cannot go a day without listening to music. She listens many kinds of music, but, R$B is her favourite genres because she knows it relates to her life. I and Giang often share many interesting songs together, And maybe, it's the good time to develop my friendship. Only by listening to music do we heal mind, body and soul. Her favourite singers are Taylor Swift, BTS and more than three... To sum up, Music would be her and my lifelong friend. She would never stop listening to music.

I have many hobbies, but I reading most. Books are always a good friend to me. It is a good way to improve my vocabularies by exposing many new words. By reading, I get better at concentration because it requires me to focus on what I am reading for long periods. It also opens up the knowledge door for me. Reading books tell me about the world's history, let me see the structure of the brain, or bring me a story of Sherlock Holmes. I think reading is one of the most interesting indoors activity.

Hôm nay tôi viết bức thư về người hùng của tôi người ấy không ai khác chính là Bố của tôi. Bố tôi là anh hùng thực sự của tôi vì ông ấy là người đặc biệt nhất trong cuộc đời tôi.
Với tôi, bố tôi là một bác sĩ và cũng là một người cha tuyệt vời nhất. Dù công việc vô cùng bận rộn bởi những đêm trực, những ngày đi học, đi làm nhưng bố vẫn luôn dành cho anh em tôi những ngày vui chơi quây quần vui vẻ nhất.
Những ngày trong tuần, bố tôi thường dành thời gian cho những người bệnh của mình. Ông không có thời gian để nghỉ ngơi vì bệnh nhân đến chỗ bố tôi quá đông. Lúc nào được nghỉ bố lại vội vàng về trường tranh thủ đón anh, em tôi để đỡ nhớ.
Tôi nhớ, năm 8 tuổi, mẹ đi công tác, em tôi về bà ngoại. Nhà chỉ còn tôi bị sốt, bố phải trực và không cắt trực được bố đành bế tôi lên xe và đưa tôi vào nằm phòng bác sĩ nơi bố và các đồng nghiệp của ông nghỉ ngơi sau mỗi tua trực dài.
Tôi sốt cao, bố cho tôi uống hạ sốt rồi ông lại lao nhanh ra phòng hồi sức cấp cứu nơi có những bệnh nhân đang cần ông. Ông như một cái máy, cái máy không ngừng nghỉ. 15 – 20 phút ông lại chạy qua hỏi tôi “con trai, con thấy ổn chứ!” Tôi gật đầu là bố tôi lại lao thoăn thoắt đi về phía phòng bệnh đèn sáng trưng kia.
Tôi không nhớ đã được bố đưa đi trực cùng bao nhiêu lần. Những lần đó, nhìn thấy công việc của bố tôi thấy bố thực sự là người hùng. Có những bữa cơm, nhận được điện thoại có ca cấp cứu nặng là ông lại bỏ bát, xoa đầu anh em tôi với lời hẹn “”các con ở nhà ngoan, bố vào viện”. Bóng ông lại hun hút hành lang toà nhà để đến với người bệnh. Có lúc, tôi thấy bố mình như anh hùng giải cứu thế giới.
Bố tôi nhận được nhiều giải thưởng từ cơ quan cũng như trong ngành và tôi thấy bố mình xứng đáng nhận được điều đó.
Khi về nhà, Bố đã cố gắng hết sức để giữ cho gia đình của chúng tôi hạnh phúc. Ông làm việc chăm chỉ để kiếm tiền cho gia đình chúng tôi. Ông ấy yêu thương anh em tôi rất nhiều và luôn cố gắng làm tôi vui mỗi khi tôi đang ở trong một tâm trạng buồn. Ông luôn dạy cho tôi những điều tốt và không làm hư tôi bằng cách mua cho tôi tất cả những điều mà tôi muốn. Nhưng đồng thời, ông đã tặng tôi rất nhiều điều mà tôi luôn luôn muốn có. Bố tôi đã luôn cố gắng với mức độ tốt nhất của mình để làm cho tôi trở nên một người tốt.
Dù bận rộn, bố vẫn luôn trao đổi với cô giáo của tôi về việc học của tôi và ông không bao giờ ép tôi phải học hành.
Ông ấy rất cẩn thận về những thứ tôi ăn. Ông luôn nhấn mạnh tôi ăn những thứ lành mạnh như trái cây và rau quả giàu vitamin và khoáng chất. Ông là một người cha tràn đầy yêu thương. Tôi lúc nào cũng thích dành thời gian với ông ấy và học hỏi những điều mới mẻ từ ông ấy. Ông đã dạy tôi bơi. Tính đến nay tôi đã giành được nhiều giải vô địch bơi lội. Bố của tôi đã giúp tôi rất nhiều trong việc học vấn. Ông không cho phép tôi tốn tiền học phí mà thay vào đó ông ngồi với tôi giải quyết những vấn đề đang xảy ra. Bởi vì niềm vẻ vang cho bố tôi nên Tôi thực hiện việc học rất tốt. Bố tôi là món quà quý giá nhất của Chúa dành tặng cho tôi.
Bố tôi là một người cha tràn đầy yêu thương và là người lịch thiệp nhất mà tôi từng thấy trong đời. Ông muốn tôi trở thành một con người tốt được như ông ấy. Đó là lý do tại sao ông luôn dạy tôi cách phân biệt giữa sai và đúng.
Ông là người bạn tốt nhất của tôi. Tôi có thể thảo luận về tất cả mọi thứ với ông ấy mà không hề do dự. Những điều mà tôi không bao giờ để lộ ra cho bất cứ người bạn thân thiết nào, tôi có thể dễ dàng thảo luận với bố tôi. Bất cứ khi nào tôi cần sự giúp đỡ của ông, ông luôn luôn ở đó. Ông ấy giống như một người hùng đối với tôi.
Dù tôi mới 15 tuổi nhưng bố đã chỉ cho tôi cách để đạt được thành công, bố chỉ ra cơ hội đang tồn tại trước mặt tôi. Nhưng đồng thời, ông đã để cho tôi tự quyết định về con đường mà tôi lựa chọn. Ông rất tự tin rằng những nỗ lực của ông sẽ làm cho tôi trở nên là một người tốt mà không bao giờ đi vào điều xấu. Nhìn sự tin tưởng của ông ấy trong tôi nên một ngày nào đó tôi muốn làm cho ông ấy tự hào.
