It was Thursday evening .Nick and his mum were in the kitchen.It was hot and Nick (1) ................. the window. Then Mum started to (2).................. the evening meal. She said, "It 's fish and chips tonight "

Nick said, "mum,I don't like fish .Can we have burgers, please ?"

"No ,sorry . Fish is good for you," she  said.Nick (3)...................... down to do his homework .Some of it was very difficult and Mum ,came to help him . When she looked round ,the fish wasn't there !A cat was the window with the fish in its (4)..................When it saw mum ,it jumped down and (5)...................to a tree .There was't any more food in the house .Nick and his mum went to a cafe, Nick had a burger and salad and a  big(6).................He was very happy!
