I was born in a quiet village where the influence of the city is not much. It is a small village with a population of about two thousand people. It is a very good place for relaxation indeed.

In my village, people live very close to each another. The people are very simple in thought and behavior. Therefore they are friendly and helpful . So, the crimes of the city are almost unknown in my village. The people work together and live in peace. I love them.
My village is surrounded by paddy-fields and a river. All these add great beauty and variety to my village scene. Although I do not like growing rice, but I really like the fields. It makes me have a good mood, a peace mood and a relaxed mood. Now I am living in Hanoi capital. I want to come back my hometown very much. Living among such friendly and simple people, in such a quiet village, is indeed a real pleasure.

Lunar New Year, or Tet, is considered the most important festival and holiday in Vietnam. All schools, companies, factories are temporarily closed. It is the occasion for family unions and gatherings when people return to their families. To prepare for this special day, most Vietnamese people prepare by cleaning and decorating their houses as well as cooking delicious foods. There are a lot of special Vietnamese customs during this time that you could learn. For example, the importance of the first person visiting the house on the new year, wishing greetings of New Year, ancestral worship, and giving lucky money to elderly people and children (aka “Li Xi” in Vietnamese language). During Tet, Vietnamese people will visit their relatives, go to pagodas and temples to pray for a better upcoming year.

My home village is now different from the village in my father’s story. in his story, my village is very poor.Everyone live a hard life that time. People lack of food, of money. Now, it is different. People don’t live a hard life anymore. They have enough food, enough money, everyone got a house, and many more things. The only things that doesn’t change is sentiment. Everyone always be very happy. They live together, help each other when they need, that isa luxury. That makes my village a wonderful place for everyone. People are just farmer, but they solidarity in the face of penury. And when they have money in their hands, they still solidarity they are friendly with others, they are helpful, they are good people. That’s about people.Landscape is still like the old days. That river, that mountain. Nature is harmony with people. People live with nature, people product things of nature, and nature always open-handed with people, give them resource for themto build their house. That is what people seek, and they live with it very well. That’s all I can say about my home village, in my opinion, my village is a wonderful place. War does not determine who is right, only who is left:” Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country”.

On summer holiday, I often go back to my hometown and I have seen many changes in this rural area over the years.

The most impressive change is in education. Recently, there are more schools rebuilt nearby and they are all better equipped. This summer, my hometown friends and I enjoy reading different kinds of books and comics in the new library. This change makes my stay here a lot more enjoyable.

Means of communication is the second big change I can see in the area. In the past, the common way to contact somebody faraway was to write letters by hand. Nowadays, thanks to mobile phones and even social networks, the locals can keep in touch more easily.

However, the negative change in the environment is something I dislike. Vast paddy fields where the children used to fly kites no longer exist. Instead, a new industrial zone appears. Worse, factories in the zone are polluting the river and make it too dirty for us to swim in.

Describe a bedroom

Like a paradise, my room is the only place where I feel free, warm and comfotable for relaxing after a tiring day at school.
My room has simple design and everything looks neat and clear. It's a beautiful room because it is decorated by myself. I use bright color for the wall and blue ties to inspire an intimate feeling to the space. Besides, my room looks warm and airy with two huge windows on the two sides of the room , and some lamps on the walls . I like the computer in my room most because it helps me a lot for my study.
In my house I like my room most, I can do everything in it. I'm the owner of my own space so I always try to keep it clear and neat

Dear [Pen Friend's Name],

I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to take the time to update you on the situation here in Nigeria. Recently, our country has been facing several challenges including political instability, economic downturn, and security concerns. The government has been taking steps to address these issues, but progress has been slow.

In terms of the economy, we have been experiencing inflation and rising food prices, which has been difficult for many families. Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on our healthcare system and economy.

On the political front, there have been protests and demonstrations against police brutality and human rights abuses. While these issues have been ongoing, there has been increased attention on them in recent months.

Despite these challenges, Nigeria remains a resilient and diverse country with many positive aspects. Our culture and traditions continue to thrive, and many people are working hard to make a positive impact in their communities.

I hope this update provides you with a better understanding of the current situation in Nigeria. I look forward to hearing from you soon and catching up on all that is new with you.

Best regards, [Your Name]
