Use " so as to/ in order to" to combine the two sentences in to one

-       My brother is studying hard so as not to fail the next exams.

 

5.    They want to speak English well. They practise speaking it everyday.

-       They practise speaking English everyday in order to speak it well.

-       They practise speaking English everyday so as to speak it well.
