Spring is the beginning of a year. Around this time, the climate is still cold and humid. There are still some small drizzles outside but they seem not be able to stop the hundreds of colorful flowers blooming. Peach blossoms, apricot blossoms and lime trees are the most favorite plants for the Lunar New Year. Apricot blossom is yellow, peach blossom is pink, these color brighten up the sky. Spring arriving means that with New Year is coming. At this moment, everyone's heart is throbbing. The roads are filled with vehicles, everyone is happy, they go shopping to prepare for Tet holiday such as buying trees, clothes, foods.Traditionally, all of houses hang red sentences in front of the house, plant trees, wrap green cake to eat with melon onion. This is a characteris that only Vietnam has, leaves impression on the tourists. Children are especially happy to wear new clothes and receive red envelopes, are taken to visit the relatives. For me, the spring is so special, it carries so much love and happiness.

Đây là một nét rất đặc trưng mà chỉ Việt Nam mới có, hấp dẫn các khách du lịch phương xa. Đặc biệt những đứa trẻ thì vui mừng được mặc quần áo mới và nhận những phong bao lì xì đỏ thắm, được đưa đi thăm họ hàng gần xa. Đối với tôi mùa xuân thật đặc biệt, nó chất chở bao yêu thương và hạnh phúc.

My mother is the one who I love most in my life. For what she’s done, she deserved with the whole world. My mother is a 43-year-old household wife. She’s tall, slim and especially she has a beautiful long black hair. She always smile thus everyone consider her a friendly person. My mom loves every members of the family with all her heart. She agreed to be a household woman instead of working out. My mother takes care of the household chorces. She wakes up earliest in the morning and goes to bed latest in the night. And during the day, she’s very busy. I remember once when my mother got sick so nobody did the house work and everything went to crazy. From then, my father and I join hand to help mother whenever we have free time. She’s really happy about that. When I was a kid, mom taught me to play piano at each weekend. I still remember the songs which includes many childhood’s experiences. Not only taught me to play piano, she also taught me to be a better human. I love the moral stories that she told me before I fell asleep every night. We’re really appreaciate mother’s effort, patient and her hard work to conserve the family’s happiness. My mother is an indispensable part of my life. When I grow up, I want to be a woman her.

I’ve always been proud to be born into my family. One of the things I am most proud of is the carpentry tradition. My family has been a carpenter for three generations. Also, since childhood, I have seen many beautiful wooden products. To be able to create those products, it must go through many different steps. First, my dad will choose the type of wood and their size. After that, my dad will measure and cut the pieces of the wood to match. Next my dad will shape the wooden pieces. Once the wood pieces are finished, my dad will paint them with beautiful colors. I love watching my dad work. When I was growing up I wanted to continue the work my dad was doing. From there, many beautiful and useful wooden products can be created.

Hi everyone, I am Minh Anh and today I will tell you about my hometown. I come from Hungyen which is a province in the North of Vietnam. There are not many buildings and constuctures here so the air is more fresh and clean than in the city. The weather is nice and it will comfort you and make you happy. The specialties of my hometown is Longan fruite. People in my country enjoy eating it so almost every houses grow them for selling. Everyone lives here take care of each others, they live a big family. In the evening, people in a neighborhood always gather in the large yard and chatting toghether after a long day of work. I love my hometown and the people here so much and I think, it does not matter how far you can go but hometown is always a place where you can come back anytime you want.

Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh is my beloved hometown. This place is famous as the cradle of Cham culture, with monumental temples, majes and mysterious towers. Especially this land is also known as the "martial land" with the gallant, mighty children. Nature has given my hometown long, beautiful beaches, clear blue water, pebble beaches thousands of well-arranged eggs. There are beaches, mountain- backs, facing the dreamy blue sea. Each wave patted the shore, sounding a whisper of the sea. If you have the opportunity to set foot here in Quy Nhon, you should spend time watching Vong Phu mountain at Egg Beach, watching rapids of the mountain to commemorate the poet Han Mac Tu, watching Cham towers in the sunset gold to realize that: My home Quy Nhon is very gentle and lovely.

I have a bestfiend and also a neighborhood whoes name is Tuan. His age is the same as mine but he looks older than me. Because he’s very tall and thin, everybody calls him “a palm”. Tuan has a short curly hair and beautiful chestnut brown eyes that appeal of many girls. He is a person of very few words that makes him to be a good listener. Anyone, who has ever contacted with Tuan, thinks about him as a glacial boy. In fact he’s really warm and nice. He’s willing to help people whenever possible. When I was in secondary school, I found Math was very difficult to understand but Tuan solved the Math problems so fast. He spent all seven nights of weeks to help me in Math while he could go out to relax. Tuan was a good all-rounder exception English. Most of the teachers in school and parents highly appreaciated his talent. Only a month ago, he received two full scholarships from America Government to study oversea but he has not yet decided whether he should go or not. Although he has not spent much time to take part in sport activities, he is a well football player. We were in Ha Noi Young Football Team when we were in grade 10. Everything seems perfect to my bestfriend but he’s very modest and always talks to himself to give more effort. I’m proud of Tuan and pray for the good things beside him forever.

Những người nào từng biết Tuấn sẽ nghĩ cậu là một chàng trai lạnh lùng. Nhưng trên thực tế cậu ấy rất ấm áp và tốt bụng. Cậu ấy sẵn sàng giúp đỡ mọi người bất cứ khi nào có thể. Khi tôi còn học cấp hai, tôi thấy toán rất khó hiểu nhưng Tuấn lại giải các bài toán rất nhanh. Cậu ấy đã dành ra bảy buổi tối trong một tuần để giúp tôi học toán trong khi cậu ấy có thể ra ngoài thư giãn. Tuấn học giỏi tất cả các môn trừ tiếng Anh. Hầu hết các thầy cô giáo trên trường và bố mẹ Tuấn đều đánh gia cao tài năng của cậu. Chỉ một tháng trước, cậu ấy đã nhận được hai học bổng toàn phần từ chính phủ Mỹ để du học nhưng cậu ấy chưa đưa ra quyết định là đi hay không. Mặc dù không dành nhiều thời gian để tham gia các hoạt động thể thao nhưng Tuấn chơi bóng đá rất giỏi. Chúng tôi từng nằm trong đội tuyển Bóng đá trẻ Hà Nội khi còn học lớp 10. Mọi thứ dường như rất hoàn hảo đối với cậu bạn thân của tôi nhưng cậu ấy rất khiêm tốn và luôn tự nói với bản thân phải cố gắng hơn nữa. Tôi tự hào về Tuấn và cầu nguyện cho những điều tốt đẹp sẽ ở cùng cậu mãi.

Companionship is something of essence to people, therefore I have got a close friend since I was at secondary school. It is a domesated dog. This was a birthday present from my parents on my 15th birthday. I am originally interested in furry creatures, hence the dog was a great happiness to me. He is an adorable dog with burnished fur and streamlined tail. He has thin and strong legs so he sun so fast. He is an omnivorous animal so he can eat the same food in our meals. additionally, he has strong sense of smell and hearing, together with sharp vision and understanding power thus called intelligent animal. This dog is easily controlled and taught anything through proper training. He guards home and family for the whole day without getting anything in return. He starts barking very loudly whenever any stranger approaches the house. Moreover, he usually shows affection towards the owner by wagging his tail and licking hands or face. Since he appears, he has got rid of loneliness in my life. He has been proved as a very useful and obedient animal for the mankind. I always have deep affection for this close friend.

Teacher plays an important role in every child’s soul. To me, miss Dung-my head teacher. She taught literature from grade 10 to 12. She is tall, young, slim body with round face and bright smile. She is a devoted and responsible teacher as she always prepares carefully all the lessons before going to class. She teaches us the way to love people and becoming a good citizen for the country. Moreover, student love the way she teach, mark the score and correct the mistake. In my opinion, she is not only my teacher but she also works as my second mother at school. She helps student through thick and thin in life. Whenever facing up with any problem, I have no hesitation to share with her then she finds out the best solution or gives me some helpful advice. Additionally, if we don’t attend the class for some reasons, she immediately contacts us and asks whether we are fine. It seems that she spend her youth to learn and give deep knowledge to young generation and she really enjoys the job. Most of the time she spend for taking care of children from education to daily life. She is one of my idols because of her talent, personality and career. Therefore, almost student look up to her and thank her for kindness and responsibility.

I have a best friend, and his name is Minh. Minh has been my classmate since we were in elementary school, and it means that we have been friends for more than ten years. Minh lives near my house, so it can be said that he is also my neighbor. He is a chubby boy with curly black hair. He wears a pair of very thick classes since he is short eye sighted. He has been wearing them since he was a little boy, and it is hard to recognize him without his classes even for me. Minh is a good student at our school, but in return he is pretty bad at outdoor activities and sports. He spends most of his time studying, and his free time is used for playing video games or eating. I am his best friend, but my appearance is the total opposite from him. I am a tall and slim girl, and I love to play sports basketball and badminton. I try my best to take him outside, but I usually fail to do so. Instead, I will sit down and play games with him, and after that we will go outside to get something to eat. He helps me a lot with the school work, and we usually study together. We do our own homework, but after that we will exchange our notebooks to check each other's result. Every morning he stops by my house and waits for me to go to school together. We ride our own bikes, but recently his mother has an idea for him to work out that he has to take me to school on his bike as his morning exercise. Although he is not a prominent boy, most of the classmates still him because of his kind and gentle personality. I am proud to have a friend him, and I think that we are totally suitable for each other.

Among my friends, I cherish the most is Hong. She is a good student in my class, she lived with her mother in a small house near my house. She has short black hair, oval face and brown eyes. What parularly struck me about her was the smile. She looks so lovely when he smiles. She is a friend that I can share everything with. She always believed and helped me in every situation. She is gentle and endearing all friends. She s Literacy, reading, listening to music. Hong and I have a lot in common with each other, and have become good friends over the past 5 years. Although time has passed long in any case, Hong and I are also trying to keep this friendship.
