Câu bị động là câu trong đó chủ ngữ là người hay vật nhận hoặc chịu tác động của hành động.
Ví dụ 2: A question was asked by me. Một câu hỏi được hỏi bởi tôi.
Trong ví dụ trên, ví dụ 1 là thể chủ động, chủ ngữ I là chủ thể gây ra hành động, a question làm tân ngữ, là đối tượng chịu sự tác động của hành động. Ví dụ 2 là thể bị động của ví dụ 1, chủ ngữ I trở thành tân ngữ trong câu bị động, đi với giới từ by, tân ngữ a question trở thành chủ ngữ trong câu bị động. Cấu trúc của hai câu này khác nhau nhưng ý nghĩa hoàn toàn giống nhau.
Lựu ý:
- Chỉ những động từ có một tân ngữ đi theo sau (tức là những ngoại động từ) mới chuyển sang câu bị động được.
- Tân ngữ (Object) trong câu chủ động trở thành chủ ngữ trong câu bị động.
Câu bị động là câu có chủ ngữ là người , vật nhận chịu tác
động khác hướng vào !!!
