When it comes to sports, there are a variety of types of interesting sports but the one I love best is badminton. Badminton is a sport in which two or four people hit a shuttlecock (a light object with feathers) over a high net. There are certain rational reasons why I am really into it. Firstly, I am likely to enhance not only my physical health but also my mental health through playing it. In particular, I regularly spend 2 or 3 hours taking part in this physical activity on weekends. Therefore, it makes me feel strong, powerful, unwind and energetic after some stressful lessons at school. The second reason is that it is a great way for me to strike up a friendship. In other words, the more times I play, the more friends I have. We also share a lot of interesting or bad things together when having a break. Last but not least, badminton is not as intense as other sports like basketball or soccer. It means it lessens the possibility of being hurt. In conclusion, badminton is a physical recreation to be worthy of experiencing. We ought to practice it every day to stay healthy.
