In my opinion, customs and traditions are very important. Like other families, we have our own customs and traditions. Firstly, there's a tradition in our family of getting together on the first day of Tet. Everyone has tobe there throughout the day. We share every thing with my family members. Secondly, we have the custom of doing morning exercise at 5 a.m together. We always get up early and follow this customs. Thanks to doing morning exercise, we have good health. Thirdly, we visit the pagoda on the first day of every lunar month. This custom is that we have to buy fruit or incense for the pagoda each year. This year, we also prepared five-coloured sticky rice and worshipped Buddha. We all enjoy these customs and traditions because they provide our family with a sense of belonging.

Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked, offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

Mid - Autumn festival is one of the popular celebrations in the Viet Nam. Every year , it's on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month. It's organized so that people celebrate the largest full moon in the year. In that festival, children wear masks, parade on the street have parties with special cakes and lots of fruits.
I feel happy when taking part in it because it makes me exited and helps me remember about my childish.

Da Lat is known as the land of flowers. It is one of the major tourist centers of the country with a system of old mansions, unique architecture, and rich culture. With Da Lat’s poetic beauty and friendly, hospitable people, the city attracts a number of domestic and foreign tourists.
According to the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Culture, the province has more than 60 free attractions ranging from natural landscapes, ancient architecture, religious establishments, craft villages, indigenous villages and archaeological sites.
The local government has recently taken more measures to increase cultural activities in the tourism industry as well as restore many historical monuments.
The number of attractions in Da Lat is increasing. In addition to the classic natural and man-made attractions like the Provincial Museum, the flower garden, and the Da Lat Railway Station, a number of new tourist destinations are starting to appear.
The Madagui forest village, Dambri waterfall, Love Valley, Bidoup Nui Ba National Park, and two new golf courses are just a few new and exciting additions to Da Lat.
This year’s Cultural Tourism Week will take place in Da Lat City from December 27th to the 31st.
There will be four major events. The first event is the Asean - Vietnam UNESCO Heritage Festival, followed by the launch of the official Central Highlands’ Tourism Year in 2014. The third event is the 120th anniversary celebration of the founding of Da Lat. And finishing the tourism week is the famed Da Lat Flower Festival.
To serve the festival, the local residents of Van Thanh rose village are building what they call a "rose road" of 120 meters to decorate the festival.
Every year, the exhibition of flowers and plants in the flower garden of Da Lat city is one of the highlights of the Flower Festival, attracting many local and foreign tourists.
According to the management board of the Da Lat flower garden, they have welcomed 667,000 visitors so far this year, with total revenues of VND13.5 billion. The city is investing in the garden in the hopes it will become a hot destination for future tourists.

I used to attend the Tet Holiday Flower festival. It’s called Nguyen Hue Flower street Festival. It is held in Nguyen Hue Street in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. It takes place every Tet Holiday for 1 week. It is celebrated by Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee. They display and decorate the street with many kinds of flowers and lights. Many people come there to enjoy the beautiful flowers and take pictures.
(Dịch: Tôi từng tham gia Lễ hội Hoa Tết. Nó được gọi là Lễ hội đường hoa Nguyễn Huệ. Nó được tổ chức ở đường Nguyễn Huệ, Quận 1, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh. Nó diễn ra vào mỗi dịp Tết trong vòng 1 tuần. Dalat Flower Festival is a cultural festival which takes place every other year in Da Lat city, Lam Dong, Vietnam and some other localities in Lamdong province. The festival is held with the purpose of exhibiting flowers, vegetables and ornamental plants from the local as well as other regions within the country and many other countries in the world in order to attract visitors to come to Dalat, promote economic development of the city. Dalat Flower Festival is also an activity honoring the value of flowers and floriculture, calling for investment in Dalat flower industry as well as promoting a positive image of the city, the culture and the people of Dalat.

I attented Thuong Temple festival last month. It’s a seasonal festival in Lao Cai city. It is held on the 15 th of the first lunar month. Local people made offerings of incense to worship General Tran Hung Dao who defeated the Mongok 3 times. Besides, there were many activities such as: shpping, playing traditional games, singing, dancing, … Many local people and townritsfrom all over the country attented the festival. This is an occation for us to show our love to our motheland and preserve our cultural traditions.

Our country has 54 ethnic groups living together and loving each other, in which the Kinh people occupy the crowded population. The Kinh people live mainly in the plains and live by wet rice cultivation. Currently, according to scientific advances, the Kinh gradually tends to switch to industrial and tourism development. Like other peoples that have their own tradition, the Kinh has unique traditions. These are rituals on wedding day, death anniversary or special occasions with popular and familiar dishes in all regions of the country. The girls are still gentle, slender in the long dress or the undulating white hat. Whatever the nation, we are all the dragon and the responsibility to preserve and develop the national culture, the homeland and the country.
