Spoken communication is more powerful than writen communication. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Some people believe that the power of verbal forms of communication outstrips that of their written counterparts. Personally, I think there is little to disagree with in this observation.
Spoken words carry more weight than written ones for several reasons, the most important of which are related to facial expressions and emotions. These could range from smiling with one’s eyes, which indicates a genuine smile and the genuineness of the message, to only smilling with one’s mouth, which can be perceived as a fake smile, and raising one’s eyebrows, which show disapproval or surprise, while he is enunciating a word. Of course, one might argue that a writer can simply add some extra adverbs to illustrate how a person feels more accurately, but we all too often find ourselves in loss of words when it comes to describing humans’ feelings.
Besides this, I note the fact that one’s way of speaking also affects how his message is perceived. Take, for example, a speech dellivered by a confident speaker who, at the same time, possesses clear pronunciation, a deep voice and a good pace of speech. What he hopes to deliver surely gets through more effectively than handing out to the same audience the transcript of what he says. This can clearly be seen in the way politicians often choose press conferences, and public speeches to best connect and persuade voters over any written forms of communication
In conclusion, the power of written communication seems to pale in comparison with that of spoken words. I take this view on account of the fact that the latter consists of many powerful elements such as facial expressions, emotions and ways of speaking, all of which are hardly ever successfully portrayed in any written texts.

Some people think that school friends give more influence to a child’s success than parents. Although the existence of friends has some positive effect, I personally believe that parents give more significant effect to the child’s success.

It is undeniable that classmates play a significant role in a child success, as friends could help each other. One of the examples is when a child does not understand a lesson, he could ask a help from his friends. And then, when a child joins a sports competition, his friends might support him and give him encouragement. Despite all the positive sides, they could also bring negatives things as well. For instance, one of the classmates might be addicted to drugs, and he could influence the others to use it.

Many people believe that parents have more significant contributions to a child’s academic study than classmates. Even though they might not be giving technical advice to the child, but they give moral support. For example, a child might have some difficulties with his exam and has to study until late at night, his parents might give some motivational words that inspire him, and also stay awake to accompany the child. And then, parents will also provide all funds needed for the improvement of the child’s academic study. For instance, a child might have some problems with mathemas, and the parents might hire a private tutor for their child.

In conclusion, I do agree that school friends have some positive effect on a child’s academic performance, but I do not agree if people think that classmates give more important influence than parents. I believe that parents play more vital roles in a child’s success, as they give moral and financial support.

Sample Answer :
In many countries, especially in developing countries, foreign movies are more popular than the locally made films. There are several reasons for this trend and the government can and should greatly contribute to promoting domestic movies for the overall progress of the industry.

The main reason people prefer movies from other countries is the quality of the movie. It is often noticed that locally made films in many countries lack better plots and the characters do not have the necessary depth to touch the hearts of the audiences. Moreover, foreign films have a great variation and they are more enjoyable than the domestic films. This happens because large film industries like the Hollywood can allocate a huge budget and have talented producers and directors while films made in developing countries have a small amount to spend on a movie and do not have many talented movie makers. For instance, the type of animated movies and special effects developing countries produce these days are unimaginable in most of the developing countries and this is why movie lovers from these countries prefer to watch movies made in other countries. The poor quality of acting and low-budget filmmaking in most of the developing countries discourage the audiences to enjoy local films.

In my opinion, the government should support the film industry in order to support this industry, encourage people to enjoy more domestically produced films and gain international acclimation for quality movies. Each country has some talented producers, actors and filmmakers who for the lack of financial and political support cannot bring out the best. They should be given a chance to prove themselves. No doubt big budget is required to make better quality films and the government should provide subsidiary to help local film industry progress. Government’s help for the movie industry would bring more audiences to the theatre to enjoy those films and earn more ticket money. Moreover, quality films would compete in international stages and bring fame for the country.

In conclusion, the film industry in each country should be supported by the government as it would make local films popular and earn money and fame for the country.

Some people believe that printed newspapers are becoming worthless in the contemporary life. While there are a variety of ground supporting this view, I would argue that printed newspapers continue to play an essential role in life.
Continuous advancement in technology provides people with more convenient options for gathering news which are alternatives for printed newspapers. First, an enormous number of articles or reports nowadays could be assessed merely via smartphones or computer with the internet connection, and not only does the news contain a broad spectrum of contents but it can also be updated by the minute. It is obviously more convenient than the traditional measure of reading news, for example, on daily newspapers with limited content in few pages. Second, the spread of alternative options namely the radio or the internet which reach almost every corner of the world has reduced the dependence on printed newspapers as a main source of information.
Despite such advantages of the news conveys by other faster means, I consider that there is still a continuing need for printed newspapers today. One reason is that reading a newspaper is a daily habit which many people, especially the elderly, still enjoy. They are really interested in the leisurely routine of reading newspapers over breakfast or drinking cups of coffee. Another consideration is people can share the newspapers with others since printed newspapers can simply be picked up or put down at a will. For example, I often read a newspaper on the train or bus and then leave the paper on the seat for other passengers if they wish.
In conclusion, albeit the increasing availability of other high-speed sources of news, newspapers still contribute a certain value to human life today.

I agree that the more we travel, the more we know. I agree that idea because

Firstly, when we travel,we can learn many things about: history,structure,language,geography,... and we can come to many new, many strange land we haven't gone or come there yet. These are real experience that no book can teach us. The more,it make us feel richer and your ''bank'' of knowledge more, more and more, etc.Augustine also said that: ' The world is a book, who don't go so they can just read a page of this book'.

Secondly,When you come to a new land, you can speak, talk to local people, they can help us very much about history, culture, etc and when we communicate with them, you can be more sociable with many people around us.And traveling is the fastest way to learn foreign language and we are more attractive.

Thirdly, traveling make you more intelligent, more sociable and your confidence level will be increased.

Fourth, traveling make us have more friends,on the way,you can talk with many people, they can be the tourists from the far country,we don't need to know who are they, where are they from,...

Fifth, traveling give us health, make us stronger,it give us the awareness of preparing luggage, buying tickets, finding accomodation, renting cars or a different means of transport.

Sixth,it make our family happier, nealier, and throw away the sadness, boredness, give us smile.Special,it help us understand more about ourselves. We can solve many problem, etc.

This is my idea and different one can have same thought with me or different. But conclusion, traveling have many advantages,so we can have some travel or visits to place,land,sea,island,....

Tourism is a unique human activity, experienced by millions of people worldwide every year. As people differ in their attitude towards almost everything in life, the same applies also to tourism; where some treat tourism globally as the focus of their act without scrutinising the other related activities pertaining to it. Hence, the term 'responsible tourism" emerged; in order to pay a sufficient attention of the tourist to the local cultural values of the destination country, and – more globally – to the environment. From my point of view, tourism must be labelled as a "responsible activity"; even if it is mandatory to issue as many local and international legislations to make it so.

While making tourism, should the tourist carry his culture with him to the foreign country? Obviously, the answer is "No". If the tourist insists on doing this, he will sure subject himself to great dangers especially in communities with intolerant local citizens. One of the best examples of this is the "Thump Up" sign which is greatly practised in many countries; where this sign is USA means "OK or very good"; while it is considered as very crude and impolite in Greece (which is a famous touristic destination). Thus, it is crucial to teach the tourists a list of common practices that they must refrain from doing, explaining the reasons behind this.

When it comes to the environment, it is indeed very unfortunate to find that the touristic areas are those with the greatest pollution and litter output! A few years ago, it was really surprising that an international campaign of volunteers aimed to clean the Himalayas from the trash left by the climbers.

In conclusion, tourism should be dealt with in the same way as freedom; that it must be "responsible", respecting both the local cultural and environmental values of each society.

All around the world, tourism is losing its glitter, due to the lack of responsibility by the government, tourists and local people. Some people consider taking responsibility in tourism by each individual is essential for the better environment, preserving cultures and improving the economy, whereas others think, this cannot be achieved in reality. In my opinion, tourism responsibility is required for better future of the world and this can be achieved with proper implementation.

People travel to different places but never show any attention or responsibility towards its improvement. To make this world a better place to live in, one should take it as one’s responsibility. First of all, the government should take a step, releasing more funds towards tourism and for providing much security. For instance, we find filthy guest houses, restrooms and no cleaning of surrounding places. People travel to enjoy the beauty of nature, but if they find this kind of dirty places, their enjoyment which lead to a bad memory. Even, local people and tourists who travel should obey the guidelines and policy of tourism for a better world.

However, there are some people who think when it comes to implementation of this; it is like a day dream which cannot come into reality. It is difficult for poor and developing countries to utilise more funds towards tourism. On the other hand, it is difficult to provide security and neatness at tourist spots unless every tourist shows attention as his responsibility. For instance, if there are sign boards which shows ‘please use right direction, danger at left direction’, they use only left and if there are any dustbins with ‘please use me’ , they do not use them at all. Thus it is very difficult to make it into reality.

In conclusion, better tourism can be achieved only if every individual takes the responsibility towards tourism. One should think, how much one is contributing, instead of just arguing and blaming the government. But the government should take the first step in achieving this. With this, not only it increases blissfulness of tourists but also increases economy of the country.

Nowadays, many companies encourage old employees to retire to make up room for the young ones. The above point is certainly true; this essay will contain some reasons that support my suggestion.

First of all, the new generation has multiple advantages that outweigh the old generation, because the world we live in currently is based on the fast, frequently-generated technology. The new generation is more adapted to become updated with the modern releases of it. They master advanced technology and have greater energy to exploit than senior employees due to many aspects including the physical strength of each party. Plus they are more capable of rejuvenating their concepts as they are gaining experience. Moreover, young employees would have the opportunity, just like the older ones had theirs once in the past, to show off their skills to their boss. Eventually, by allowing younger employee to become more involved in a beneficial way in their community, the spread of corruption would decrease gradually. As a result, the society will witness a great deal of sustainable economical production in the country.

Undeniably, old employees must have left an influential impact on today's trade. And their achievements that had been accomplished in the workforce force should be appreciated after they retire. Therefore, responsible organizations should work on arranging educational centres and beneficial events for the retired senior citizens. They would fulfill their free time usefully and efficiently, like pursuing in their personal hobbies.

At last, our community is based on a mixture of various age parties. For each period of time, each party obtains heir right to possess an effective role in the society. However, commercial and big companies prefer young employee because they infuse the work atmosphere with lots of young blood.
