1,3. In Vietnam there are many festivals. Most festivals are wonderful and interesting. Here I would like to tell a few festivals that I think are the most important. The first is the Hung Temple Festival - the death anniversary of King Hung Vuong. This is a traditional festival of Vietnamese people commemorating Hung Vuong's country building. A traditional ceremony is held annually on the 10th day of the third month of the lunar calendar at Hung Temple. Next is the Perfume pagoda festival. Perfume Pagoda is a famous landmark. Unlike any pagoda, Huong pagoda makes a collection of many caves and pagodas in a combined structure that is both natural and artificial. The attraction of Huong Son is not only on the outside but also on the inside. That is the deep beauty rich in folk philosophy of the cave. Therefore, the Huong pagoda festival is one of the most interesting in Vietnam. Thirdly, the Bai Dinh pagoda festival is a pilgrimage festival to the ancient capital of Hoa Lu in Ninh Binh province. The annual Bai Dinh festival always attracts many tourists to participate. Tourists come here not only to worship and offer incense to Buddha but also to travel to spring, to admire the magnificent scenery, to mingle with the vast and pure sacred space in the Buddha realm. In Loc Vuong Ward, Nam Dinh City, Nam Dinh Province, Tran Temple Festival is held from 15th to 20th of the eighth lunar month every year in Loc Vuong ward, Nam Dinh city, Nam Dinh province to gratitude for the work of 14 Tran kings. Since 2000, Nam Dinh has held the Opening Ceremony of Tran Temple at dawn on January 15. At first, the custom of opening the seal was confined to the village of Tuc Mac, gradually becoming a great festival. The above are just some of the wonderful festivals in Vietnam, I like the most, the ceremony to Hung because it shows the gratitude of our people to the Hung kings for making the country.

I live in Vietnam and there are a lot of traffic problems in big cities in my country. Firstly, there are too many people using the roads especially in the rush hour when people run out to work and school or get home from those places. Secondly, there are too many vehicles on the road that leads to traffic jams. Another problem is that many roads are narrow and bumpy. Fourthly, there are traffic accidents every day so a lot of people lose their lives or are injured. So in order to travel on the roads safely, I think we should obey the traffic rules and traffic signs as well. Moreover, carefulness is very necessary.

Mid-Autumn Festival is a famous festival of Vietnam. On this occasion, children are the main characters to sing, carry lanterns, watch lion dances and sit together to eat sweets and drink soft drinks. The Mid-Autumn Festival is also considered a non-horror version of Halloween, where children will have fun holding lanterns with fairy-tale characters and different cartoon characters. Sweets do not need to beg and say "Give candy or be teased", at the middle school festival, most children are prepared with candy to have fun and eat as much as they want. This is one of the oldest festivals from ancient times to now, I'm sure other people from abroad will also enjoy this festival.

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as Tet Trung Thu, is a joyous celebration in Vietnam. Held on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, usually in September, this vibrant festival revolves around family reunions and the admiration of the full moon. Streets come alive with colorful lanterns, and children carry handmade lanterns while parading through neighborhoods. Mooncakes, a traditional delicacy, are shared among family and friends. The festival holds deep cultural significance, emphasizing gratitude and unity. Traditional lion dances, folk performances, and the enchanting glow of lantern-lit nights create a magical atmosphere during this beloved Vietnamese celebration.

Tet Holiday is the biggest annual celebration of Vietnam in the first days of lunar New Year. During these days, people welcome a new coming year with good health, lucks and success. Tet holiday is very special for Vietnamese families to reunite and celebrate together.
The preparation for Tet holiday is taken place very soon because it requires many steps. All members of families clean and redecorate their houses together. Then, they buy food, drink such as cookies, sweets, candied fruit, melon seeds...to offer their guests and to store because in this occasion, many shops are closed. A branch of peach flower or a kumquat tree cannot be absent from every home during these special days. Children are the most eager, as their parents will buy them new clothes. In addition to buying things, many Vietnamese families make Chung cake, pickled onion, frozen meat, which are our country's traditional food on Tet holiday. We decorate ancestral altars with a five-fruit tray, vegetables, sweets, and flowers.
In the last day of the previous year, people become more excited as they feel that the New Year is very near to them. Everybody all waits for the sacred moment when the clock points 0 am and fireworks light up everywhere to wish for health, lucks and happiness in the next year. Streets are extremely crowded. On contrary, in the first morning of the year, everything seems peaceful and quiet as people want to sleep longer to enjoy the moment with their cozy family. However, there are some families getting up early to come back to their hometown to visit their ancestors' graves and relatives. From noon on, everybody go to their neighbors' houses to wish them a happy new year. Children in new clothes are very excited, as they will get lucky money from adults.
There are many activities to welcome new coming spring in this occasion. Children usually take up pens to write their first essay, hoping for good results in school. In spring festivals, everyone especially the young takes part in the traditional games such as rollercoaster, tug of war, cooking rice, cock fighting etc. to express their happiness while farmers wish for bumper crops. Women often go to pagodas to show Buddha their hearts and wish their families good things and power to avoid bad lucks. During the first days of New Year, Vietnamese people do things that are supposed to be good for themselves and their loved ones such as wearing red clothes, buying salt, taking chance or praying... and avoid saying taboos(related to death, breaking...). Each region in Vietnam has it own customs to celebrate Tet, which are very special and unique.
"Tet" is the word that is very familiar to Vietnamese people whenever we think about our country. This is the time for family reunion, for festivals, and for people to give love to their loved one. As for me, I enjoy the warm and cozy Tet's atmosphere when all members of my family stay and talk together.

Lunar New Year, locally called Tet, is the biggest festival of the year with the whole country downing tools for family get-togethers. Principally a religious celebration, don’t expect too much of a wild party, but it’s still a fascinating time to visit Vietnam and you’ll certainly find locals lighting fireworks, visiting temples with their families, and the interesting sight of many flower stalls set up as giving flowers is customary during Tet.
Vietnam has a lot of festivals, all of them, I like Lunar New Year the most. Lunar New Year is the most famous and important festival in Vietnam. There are no schools for 2 weeks. At this time, people are always busy because they need to decorate their houses, make delicious food, go shopping,... The most famous food in Lunar New Year is Chung cake. It is made from green beans, sticky rice, and fatty pork. Although eating it can make me fat, I like it so much. In Tet, people always go for tourism because it's the longest festival of the year. They always visit their relatives and their friends to have meals or chat. The children always receive lucky money from older people. Tet is time to gather and have wishes for a lucky new year. I love Tet so much.
