Lunar New Year is the most important holiday of the year for VietNamese people, taking place from december 28th to January 3 based on the Lunar calender. In the days right before Tet, My family is busy with shopping and preparing for this momentous occaison. they often organize and remodel the house so that they are neat and warm, and living rooms will be decorated with flowers and trees symbolizing VietNam Tet's such as apricot, cherry...Of the many New years dishes, sticky rice cakes and steamed Gac rice are two special ones which are indispensable on Tet. Also , boiled chiken,lean pork paste and fried rolls are presented on trays on this occasion

Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

Hi ! I'm a student in grade 6 of Le hong phong secondary school . It't located on PNL street .It's small but it's beautiful and clean with some big trees in the schoolyard .
There are about 750 students in my school . We wear uniform everyday. At school we have a lot of subject such as : Maths , Literature , English , History , Music , etc . My favourite subject is English . At break time , I often play football or read comics. After school , I help my parents do the housework . I love my school so much .

Hi Eric,
Long time no see you. How are you? How about the first exam you did at school?
Tet holiday is the biggest and the most important festival in VietNam. Tet often falls between late January and early February. Before Tet, my mother and I go shopping to buy clothes, candies, flowers, fruits and decorative items. My family always cleans and decorates our house together. On the first day of Tet, I don’t go out, I stay at home and sit around the pot of Banh Chung to talk, watch fireworks with my family. On the second day, I go to my grandparents’s house with my family and they give me lucky money. It’s always a nice day because I like to meet my grandparents so much! Next, on the third day, I visit my teachers and send them New Year wishes. And my favorite most is get the lucky money from the older because it brings me lucks in the year! Spring is coming is also the time for a new year to come. Everyone is normal on the national traditional New Year. Adults go to the market to buy Tet products. Children are eager to buy new clothes, receive lucky money ... Hot air. In my hometown, every family packs banh chung, more or less. Every Tet comes, the family returns to the hometown to visit her and them. Everyone is happy for the age of everyone for the beautiful red envelopes. My mother said those envelopes are the best wishes from adults for me. I love Tet in my hometown very much.

My Tet holiday ís very fun . Because I and my family go to visit my hometown . And we can play many funny games for Tet . And I don't do my homework at Tet holiday and I don't go to my school ... That everythings I think about my Tet holiday.

Spring comes at the end when Tet comes back all over the homeland. The weather is warmer. Trees started to sprout. In my garden, the flowers bloomed in full bloom. Butterfly flocks come from nowhere, making the garden more vibrant. The sound of birds chirping on the trees is delightful. Everywhere, people are eager to go shopping to celebrate Tet. The street is splendidly decorated. The whole family cleans the house together to welcome the coming new year. New Year's Eve, everyone in the family has a year-end meal together. Adults reflect on the past year, children laugh and laugh. Everyone is looking forward to the moment of New Year's Eve. Every house is filled with a warm, crowded Tet holiday. I love the Tet holiday of my country so much.

All of the special holidays in my country, I like Tet the most. Tet is an occasion to everyone get together in warm atmosphere. Before Tet holiday, we prepares many things and decorates our house with colored - string lights and colorful flowers. We also make Chung cake and cook a great variety of dishes. That was so amazing! On the first day of the new year, I dressed up my new clothes, visited my relatives to say: "Happy new year" and received lucky money in the red envelope from adults. After that, we went to the pagoda and wish for health, wealth, and luck prosperity for our family. We have a lot of fun during Tet.

Last, Tet has come. Every one in my house is busy making preparations to preparefore upcoming new year. I shopping with my mother. I love watching the peach blossom because it is so beautiful. My father decorates the house. My grandmother made banh chung. We are buying new clothes. But we do not have fireworks. And the food on the day is very good. We go to New Year's Day and get lucky money. I New Year.

I do any thing in Tet holiday
First, I went shopping with my mother.
Next i make Chung cake.
Then i waited new year.
In the end, i go to new year.

Tet is definitely the most crucial national festival of Vietnam. It is one of the most widely celebrated festivals in our country. This is the occasion that people celebrates with great joy, hope, festivity and different cultural and other programs.
Tet is the time when the Lunar calendar year begins which usually fall between mid January to mid February.
People start the arrangement to celebrate this festival about one month prior to Tet which includes cooking traditional foods, cleaning their house and buying new furnitures, etc.
On the Lunar New Year’s Eve, people gather together, makes prayers and stay awake till late night to enjoy the night.
During Tet, there are several customs that make Tet a unique festival. For instance, adults tend to give lucky money to children, visit friend and relatives’ houses, play cards, and going to churches, temples or pagodas to make good prays for their family.
This is an important festival to us. Vietnamese take this day as an important festival day. In our tradition, we start the year with the hope of eliminating the bitterness and failure of the past year and start a fresh year with the hope of fortune and happiness. Furthermore, this is the time for families and relatives to stay together under the same roof for rekindling love and bonding.
