-Vì câu này là câu bị động dạng hiện tại đơn (is used)[Công thức: S+am/is/are+PII]
-"to heat" ở đây là để chỉ mục đích (to+V-infinitive)
-Tạm dịch nghĩa của câu: Pin năng lượng mặt trời được đặt trên mái nhà và năng lượng của mặt trời được dùng để đun nóng nước
-Phân biệt "be" used to và "be" used[bị động]
+Về cấu trúc: ❉"be" used to + V-ing

Đó là vì "heat" trong câu này được sử dụng như một động từ, và khi động từ này được sử dụng trong thì hiện tại tiếp diễn (present continuous tense), nó phải được bổ sung với "ing" ở cuối để hình thành thành phần "heating".
