Topic 1:
I have many hobbies, but I like reading most. Books are always a good friend to me. It is a good way to improve my vocabularies by exposing many new words. By reading, I get better at concentration because it requires me to focus on what I am reading for long periods. It also opens up the knowledge door for me. Reading books tell me about the world's history, let me see the structure of the brain, or bring me a story of Sherlock Holmes. I think reading is one of the most interesting indoors activity.
Topic 2:Everyone has their own habits, for example my friend has a habit of playing on the phone after waking up, and I have a habit of reading books before going to sleep. This habit may have been formed since I was young; my mother read me bedtime stories every night when I was not able to read. They could be fairy tales, parables, poems or lyrics. When I started reading well, my mother let me read my favorite books myself. At that time I used to read The famous detective Conan and Doraemon, and my bookcase was almost full with comics. Until I was older, my habit of reading before bed time was still maintained. Instead of just reading comic books like before, now I choose to read more genres, such as short stories by domestic and international writers, ghost stories, Kim Dung’s novels, books written by famous people such as Dreams from My Father, The Audacity of Hope by former US President Barack Obama, Living History by Hillary Clinton … Reading before bed time is not simply a habit, because it helped me a lot in my life. It helps me to improve my memory, learn more useful knowledge, and relax my mind after a long and exhausting day. I think that this habit is wonderful, and I am a lucky person to be both entertaining and learning at the same time.

English is my favourite subject. English is not difficult to learn, you just need to work hard to gain good results. It’s the fact that English is the most common language spoken in the world, and studying it brings me lots of opportunities. First of all, being good at English, I can talk with foreign people and tourists, which expand my knowledge about each culture in the world. Besides, English documents provides a more accurate and original source of information. As a result, reading them, I can gain a deep knowledge in any field such as science, economics,… Furthermore, I can watch films, read news in English without subtitle. In the future, after graduating, with English skill, I can join international organizations or multi-national corporations and have a good career. It’s also a common sense that people who know English will have a higher salary than the others with a same job. I want to go abroad to study as well so English is necessary. In conclusion, English is an interesting subject and quite important for my future.

It is not only a subject, but also a language, a very imortant languagr. We can't find a good job without English. My English teacher is my family, my friends and the teachers at school. Honestly, I love living in the countryside. Some people would say that living in the city is better than living in the countryside. Advanced technology, convenient transportation, high quality education and good health care are few things what they enjoy about living in the city. Although living in the city has many advantages, I generally prefer living in the contryside. Because, in countryside, the life is very peaceful, quiet and safe. Also, the friendly and generous people, who will welcome you or help you at anytime. Especially, nobody can deny the fresh air in countryside since it has fewer vehicles. Each has a different lifestyle. It is singularly the decision of each person where they will live. For me, living in a countryside is the best.

My favorite subjects in school are math and science. Math is my favorite subject because it is fun. It is like a mystery to find the answer. It can be challenging and can take steps sometimes. I like science too because it is about discoveries. One reaction can create another reaction. If the people that are doing the experiment are not careful, they may get the wrong reaction.
Many different jobs use math and science. Science is used to find cures for people who are sick. Doctors and nurses use math to measure how much medicine to give to people. Salespeople need to know math to count money. Architects need to know math to design buildings. Pilots use these subjects to fly a plane. All of these people use math and science daily to measure, pay and count. Math and science are needed and used all around the world. That is why math and science are so important.

My favorite sport is playing badminton. There are four reasons why I like it. Firstly, I can improve my health through playing it. I play it about 2 times every week. It makes me feel energetic everyday. Secondly, I enjoy the feeling that badminton flies in the air. I can change the movement direction of badminton without much effort and make opponent lose it. Thirdly, I can make many friends when I play badminton. I often play it with many kinds of persons. We can improve our skills with exercises.
