Dear Ai,
So the busy year has passed, leaving us with so many new feelings and the chilly air on the first day of the new year. So spring has come.
The weather was cold, but it was warm, bringing with it the warmth of spring, looking out the window, the clear blue sky, the clouds, the clouds floating like cotton candy sticks playing with the wind. The golden, warm and smooth rays of sunlight fell to the ground. On the two sides of the road, the rows of trees were no longer bare, and instead of the young, lush buds. Like to welcome a spring fairy. The neighborhood I live in has been cleaned and painted. It is happy and proud to have a new outfit to welcome the New Year. Every house has red flags with yellow stars fluttering. The atmosphere of excitement, excitement to prepare for the New Year is enveloping all the space. Everything changes.
Hope you have a nice day!
Your best friend,
Linh

Dear Dung,
I'll tell you about my neightborhood.
I live in a house in the countryside. It's big and very beautyful. From my bedroom window, I can see the meadow, the river and also my garden too. It's one kilometer from my house to shool, so I go to school on foot. Near my house is the library, supermarket, hospital,... But I like the library most beacause I alway read book there.
I hope you will tell about your neighborhood next letter.
Bye,
Minh
Write a letter to a friend describing your visit to a city you had never seen before.
My dear Rashmi,
I received your letter a week ago. I am sorry, I could not write to you earlier as I was but of station. During the winter break, I had a chance to visit Kolkata along with my uncle. I hope, my description of the visit of that great city will be a source of pleasure for you.
It was my first visit to Kolkata. We stayed there with a friend of my father. He was a kind host. He took me round some important places of the city. Kolkata is a very big place. The streets of Kolkata are full, of the crowds of people. There is such great rush-of traffic that at first I felt quite confused.
Kolkata is a city of fine streets. I d the Chawranghee most of all. On one side it is lined by tall buildings and on the other by the maidan. The maidan is a great open park where large numbers of people assemble to spend their sweet evenings.
In Kolkata there are many places worth-seeing. I saw the Government House, Fort William, the Museum, the Botanical Garden, the Zoo at Alipore, and the Birla Planetarium I had a very pleasant time in Kolkata. It is really a fine city in India. I am sure, my description of the city will tempt you to visit Calcutta very soon.
My earnest regards for uncle and aunt with love.
Yours ever,

Dear Gia Han,
I'm glad to write letter to you.Today, I am going to tell you about my memorable past experience. It happened when I was at secondary school.I dropped out to go out with my friends. Finally, my parents knew that because my teacher called them to inform my absence.Dropping out of mine made them very sad and disapointed. When I went home, my parents offered me to sit down and asked me some questions.I was so anxious about answering their questions. They were angry with me and charged me.Since then, I have really been mature having clear thought before acting. And I was embrassed about that. The experience makes me more mature and let me know how important studying is.
