My future house will be on the ocean . It will be surrounded by tall trees and blue sea . Hello, i'm Truong. Today, i would to tell you about my house in the future. It will be a large and modern house in a big city. In front of my house, there will be a big white gate and a greensward. To the left of my house, there'll be a beautiful flowers garden. There will be a garage and some tall trees. Behind my house, there will be have a swimming pool. My house'll have 3 floors and 9 rooms: a living room, a library, 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a dining room. In the living room, there'll be a big TV, a sofa, a table and some pictures.In each bedrooms, there will be a big bed, an air-conditioner, some pillows,...... And there'll be more. I love my future house very much, and i hope it'll come truth someday.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is an important traditional holiday in my country. Mid-Autumn festival is celebrated not only in Vietnam but also in some other parts of Asia as well, such as China, Japan or Korea. And it is often celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar with full moon at night. In the past, on this day the moon was brightest and roundest which represented the family reunion or gatherings. Therefore, families and friends often came together or harvested crops for the festival. Nowadays, Mid Autumn Festival is mainly for young children in Vietnam to enjoy the best time of the year. But not only can children celebrate this day but also adults can, adults who wish to have a chance to remind their their childhood and feel young again.

Hello everyone, my name is Nii. Today, I would like to tell you about Tet, also known as the Lunar New Year festival, which is the biggest traditional festival in Viet Nam. It takes place from the first day of the first month of the lunar calendar until at least the third day. Although occurring in a short period of time, it is believed to be the most important and popular holiday in Vietnam. There are many special food is made so as to prepare for Tet meal such as sticky square cake, Vietnamese sausage, sticky rice, and jam. The food is thought to reflect Vietnam’s habits and customs as well as Vietnamese’s lifestyle. Besides, the meal has other dishes like fish, vegetables to show the hope for a successful and prosperous new year. In terms of customs, children’s receiving red envelop from the elder, visiting relative’s houses, and going to church are popular activities. Giving lucky money is thought to bring children hope and health. Church is the symbol of peace; therefore, individuals go there and pray for a successive year. Traditionally, the house is designed with peach flower in the North and Ochna integerrima in the south part of Vietnam. Besides, the house as well as the town are clear, decorative, and beautiful as all are ready to start a new year. People have a cozy atmosphere and enjoy a joyful time with their family members. It’s high time for people living in different parts of the country to gather and spending time together. Tet is a chance for one to come back home after many stress and pressure of studying and working environment. Tet is not simply a holiday, it is a culture and habit of Vietnamese since its deep meaning is sacred and important. All in all, Tet includes not only joy but also a long-standing event in people’s souls as it helps one grow up through experience. And that's all about the Lunar New Year festival in Vietnam. Dear diary,
Today is Tuesday, and it is also a special day for me. This morning I started everything with a delicious breakfast from my mother. She cooked me noodle with pork, egg, and vegetables. I went to school with my best friend Trinh, and we just had enough time to talk about our favorite TV show last night. I had a Math test today, so I was a little bit worried when the class started. It turned out that I was able to do well on the test, and I felt so proud about myself for the rest of the day. In the afternoon, I came to Trinh’s house to have lunch with her because her parents rarely came home in the middle of the day. We made a perfect meal from the ingredients that her mother had bought in the morning. We took a quick nap before having some other classes at school. We had a Physical Education class; today we learn how to have a badminton match. Trinh and I were a team; and although our team failed totally, we had a great time playing outside with other friends. I thought everything was just being ordinary as usual, but I had no idea there was a big surprise that was waiting for me at home. When I first stepped into my house, I saw the entire family gathering around a box in the corner. It turned out that my father had brought home a puppy, and it was the most beautiful creature to me. After finished all of my homework, I ended the day with a cup of hot milk. Now the puppy is sleeping right next to me, and I have to turn off the light so she can sleep peacefully. Today is such a happy day.

Vào buổi trưa, tôi đến nhà của Trinh để cùng ăn trưa vì bố mẹ bạn ấy hiếm khi nào về nhà vào lúc giữa ngày. Chúng tôi đã nấu một bữa ăn hoàn hảo từ những nguyên liệu mà mẹ bạn ấy đã mua sẵn vào buổi sáng. Chúng tôi ngủ một giấc ngắn trước khi bắt đầu thêm một vài tiết học khác ở trường. Chúng tôi có tiết học Giáo dục Thể chất, và hôm nay chúng tôi được học về làm thế nào để thi đấu môn cầu lông. Trinh và tôi là một đôi, và mặc dù đội của chúng tôi thua hoàn toàn, chúng tôi cũng đã có một khoảng thời gian tuyệt vời được vui chơi ngoài trời cùng các bạn. Tôi cứ nghĩ mọi việc vẫn sẽ bình thường như mọi ngày, nhưng tôi không hề hay biết có một điều bất ngờ đang đợi tôi ở nhà. Khi tôi vừa bước vào nhà, tôi thấy cả nhà đang tụ tập xung quanh một chiếc hộp ở góc phòng. Hóa ra bố của tôi đã mang về nhà một chú cún con, và đối với tôi nó là một sinh vật đẹp đẽ nhất. Sau khi hoàn thành tất cả bài tập về nhà, tôi kết thúc một ngày bằng ly sữa nóng. Bây giờ chú cún đang ngủ ngay bên cạnh tôi, và tôi phải tắt đèn để nó được ngủ bình yên. Hôm nay đúng là một ngày hạnh phúc.

Today I want to describe my home garden, where I think is a beautiful garden and I enjoyed it. The garden is part of my backyard and my house is in the suburbs, about an hour's drive from San Francisco. There's a big tree right in the middle of my garden, surrounded by a hot tub, a small fountain, a few bushes, partly for growing vegetables and different flowers.
This garden is really one of the reasons why my wife and I chose to buy our house because it was maintained beautifully by previous gardeners and gardeners. It has been only 1 year since we bought the house and now we are looking after the garden ourselves. Although we are not gardeners, we try our best to grow the things we , such as roses and tulips, and we even grow our own tomatoes.
Whenever family and friends visit us, we invite them to have time to relax in our hot tub and enjoy the view. In other words, our garden has also become a type of resort! It certainly requires a lot of hard work to maintain the garden properly, but it gives us a great feeling to finish decorating the way we .
In general, the garden is one of the best features of my home and that is where I can relax after a long day at work or during the weekends.

Today I'd to describe my home garden, which I think is a beautiful one and which I very much. The garden is part of my home's backyard, and my house is located in the suburbs, about a 1-hour drive from the city of San Francisco. There is a big tree right in the middle of my garden, which is surrounded by a hot tub, a small water fountain, several bushes, a section for vegetables, and different kinds of flowers.
This garden was actually one of the reasons why my wife and I chose to buy our house because it had been beautifully maintained by the previous owner’s gardener and landscaper. It’s been only 1 year since we bought the house and now we are taking care of the garden ourselves. Even though we are not experts in gardening, we still try our best to plant things that we , such as roses and tulips, and we even grow our own tomatoes.
Whenever family and friends come to visit us, we invite them to have a relaxing time in our hot tub, and enjoy the view. So in other words, our garden has also become a kind of resort! It definitely requires lots of hard work to properly maintain the garden, but it gives us a great sense of accomplishment to “decorate” it the way we .

My mother is the one who I love most in my life. For what she’s done, she deserved with the whole world. My mother is a 43-year-old household wife. She’s tall, slim and especially she has a beautiful long black hair. She always smile thus everyone consider her a friendly person. My mom loves every members of the family with all her heart. She agreed to be a household woman instead of working out. My mother takes care of the household chorces. She wakes up earliest in the morning and goes to bed latest in the night. And during the day, she’s very busy. I remember once when my mother got sick so nobody did the house work and everything went to crazy. From then, my father and I join hand to help mother whenever we have free time. She’s really happy about that. When I was a kid, mom taught me to play piano at each weekend. I still remember the songs which includes many childhood’s experiences. Not only taught me to play piano, she also taught me to be a better human. I love the moral stories that she told me before I fell asleep every night. We’re really appreaciate mother’s effort, patient and her hard work to conserve the family’s happiness. My mother is an indispensable part of my life. When I grow up, I want to be a woman like her.

My father is a talented engineer. This year, he is 42 years old. His building looks very healthy with a slightly tan skin. He has an angular face and curly black hair trimmed neatly. People often praise him as a kind, generous and estimable man. When neighbors have trouble, he is not afraid but be willing to help. At work, he is quite hard working and strict so he is should be loved and trusted by all colleagues. Most of the time my father works away from home, but he always tries to arrange time for our family. At home, Dad often help mommy with housework, cleaning, watering plants, ... and take care of our study. My father and I have the same hobby as swimming, so we always go to the swimming pool near the house to make out who swim better. Besides swimming, he is also gifted in some other sports such as football, badminton, table tennis, basketball, etc. In my eyes, he is also a wonderful friend and teacher. I share with him a lot of happiness and sorow, even the secret. He always llistens, feels sympathetic, and gives me useful advice. Thanks to him, I also learn a lot of good skills such as repairing electrical appliances, driving a motorbike, fishing ... I feel very lucky to have such a wonderful father, I will try study well to make my father always pleasant.

The summer before my junior year in high school, my family and I took a trip to a completely new world. Being from a small town, I had never really been exposed to the elements of a large city such as New York City. My trip there was like discovering an entirely new way of life that I had only heard stories of previously.
For about the tenth time the morning of the flight, I checked my room to make sure I didn’t leave anything essential behind. My stomach was doing flips as we arrived at the airport and made our way to the gate. It didn’t get much better than this: I watched through the window as the runway zoomed by and the buildings and houses became smaller and smaller as the plane gained altitude. An exhilarating feeling overcame me as I realized that I would soon be in one of the most amazing cities of the United States.
As we stood waiting for a taxi outside of the airport, it was immediately apparent to me that New York City was not the same as New Caney, Texas. It seemed like everyone there was in a hurry to get to another place. The loud and constant sound of cars honking was heard throughout the entire trip. As soon as a car seemed to be going slower than the person behind him liked, he would hear the horn of that car to let him know that he was apparently holding everybody else up! When we found our hotel in Times Square, I noticed that it wasn’t just the cars that were in a hurry. Everyone in the streets was walking at a brisk pace that indicated a rush to be somewhere. The transportation of the city was also far different than anything that I had ever been exposed to. In my little town, a bike, a car, or even walking was perfectly suitable for getting around town, but in this foreign land, there were many more ways for one to get to another destination. Everywhere you looked, there were people hailing taxis, waiting on buses, rushing underground to the subway stations, walking frantically, or desperately trying to maneuver their own cars through the busy streets. Just standing and watching the many people rushing their own separate ways was an interesting observation.
In addition to the people and transportation, the buildings were also an incredible sight. Each street was crammed with buildings that were built side by side with no room in between them, and a number of skyscrapers were present throughout the city as well. I was awestruck again as we went inside some of these buildings such as the Empire State Building and made our way towards the top. Standing outside of one of the top stories of the Empire State Building was awesome. I could hold the entire city in my hand from this view. I could even see Ellis Island a distance away from there. The stores were also large compared to the ones of my little town. A small retail store in New Caney would be a huge store that took up an entire building in New York. This would make it seem logical that the prices of everything in New York were almost triple those back home. It was as if the little peaceful neighborhood where I lived was magnified by 100 to make up the wonder city of New York.
My visit to New York City was a life changing experience. For the first time in my life, I was exposed to a little taste of what the real world is like. The incredible modes of transportation, the huge skyscrapers, and all of the thousands of people made me anxious to grow up and perhaps move to an incredible city such as this one. Either way, my first trip to New York was one of the most incredible experiences of my life, one I will always treasure.
