 I have lived in a small hometown called Vinh Thanh Hometown for 10 years . It means : I have lived here since I was 6 years old . So that , in 10 years ago until now , I saw all of changes of my hometown .  Firstly , in the past , the road used to be the country road and have a lot of potholes , but now , it is getting beautiful and having blacktop . Not only that , on the roadsides , they also plant some trees and make some street lights . Moreover , the houses used to be small and ugly . But nowadays , they are getting spacious and nice . In addition , the schools uesd to have only one floor and look very fallen . Today , the schools have two floors , a big playground , mordern equipment and look very secure . In 2006 , people here were very poor . Most of them had only one bike , just 5 or 6 families had a motorbike . Besides , the environment was very clean . But in 2016 , people become richer than in the past . All of them have at least two motorcycles . And every children has a bicycle to go to school everyday . Furthermore , recent years , in my hometown , there are a lot of cars run on the road . Because of these , my hometown is getting polluted . Anyway , the changes of my hometown made me surprised a lot and i love my hometown very much.

The four seasons in Britain are very different. Read about what Daniel and Fiona think about winter, spring, summer and autumn.

Daniel

   Autumn is very beautiful time of the year. The leaves on the trees go brown, red and yellow and they go down. I love to watch it! We play in the parks a lot but we wear warm clothes, because the days get cold. School starts again in autumn, at the beginning of September. I don’t like school!

   Summer is the time for me! School finishes in July and we can play in the parks all the time. Sometimes it is very hot. People are happier and they talk with their friends and go for a walk more. The days are very long. In July, for example, it gets dark only about 10 o’clock. It’s very difficult to go to sleep at night! Fiona

   It’s very cold in winter! Sometimes, we have a lot of snow and we can make snowmen. I don’t like winter because we can’t go for a walk very much. We wear thick clothes and in our house it sometimes gets cold. When we come home from school at 4 o’clock, it is already dark. I don’t like it at all! But there is one good thing about winter - Christmas!

   After the long winter, spring is great! There are new leaves on the trees and the birds start to sing.

We can go for long walks again and play in the park. The days are longer and it doesn’t get dark until about six o’clock. It’s much warmer but it rains a lot and the days are very windy.

In the Spring, it's very warm and there are many apricot blossoms in the street. They are very beautiful! I can visit relativies with my family and eat Banh Chung, cake sweets or crack seeds,... Before that, into the New Year's Eve, I can watch the fireworks in the bridge. It very beautiful and coroful ! It's very hot in the summer so I sometimes go to the beach with my family or go swimming with my friends. I usually stay at home because it's very hot. When the weather is cold, I never go out, I just stay at home and listen to music, watch TV about the weather today or read long novel. In four seasons, I like autumn best and in the months, I like most August because it's my birth month. The fall is cool and there are many yellow leafs or red leafs. The landscape is very beautiful! I can go out and go snacking with my friends or play some games in The Hall of Culture.Sometimes I go to small restaurant with my family to happy birthday me. It's very happy!

People in light spring clothes were walking about, and to my surprise, they walked not only along to the paths but also across the grass, and no one said a work to them about it. I had never seen such a thing before.
