Công thức So sánh hơn tính từ ngắn/dài  :

S1 + tobe/V + ADJ-er + than + S2 (ngắn)

S1 + tobe/V + more + adj + than + S2 (dài)

Tính từ ngắn : 1 âm tiết

Tính từ dài : từ 2 âm tiết trở lên

Từ đặc biệt : good => better 

- từ kết thúc bằng "y" ( healthy,...) bỏ "y" ta thêm "ier"
