b. Cách dùng

Câu điều kiện loại 3 đề cập đến một điều kiện không có trong quá khứ và kết quả có thể xảy ra trong quá khứ. Những điểm này là giải thiết và không thực tế. Thường sẽ có hàm ý cho sự hối tiếc trong các câu nói. Thời gian trong câu điều kiện loại 3 là quá khứ và tình huống là giải thuyết.

Bạn có thể thay thế would bằng những động từ khuyết thiếu khác như could, might để thể hiện theo sự chắc chắn.

Lưu ý nhỏ, would và had đều có thể viết tắt là ‘d. Nên để phân biệt, các bạn cần chú ý:

- Would thì không xuất hiện ở mệnh đề if, nên nếu viết tắt if + S ‘d thì đó là if S had

- Had thì không xuất hiện trước động từ have nên nếu if+ s’d thì đó là if S would

c. Lưu ý sử dụng khác

+, Đối với trường hợp sử dụng điều kiện quá khứ nhưng đề cập đến kết quả mà hành động chưa hoàn thành hoặc liên tục ( mệnh đề chính là thì hoàn thành tiếp diễn)

Công thức: If + S+had+ V3, ..S+had been + V-ing

+, Trường hợp nói về quá khứ hoàn thành và kết quả hiện tại thế nào.

Công thức: If + S + had + V3, ... would + V-inf.

+, Trường hợp dùng câu điều kiện loại 3 với điều kiện có tính tiếp diễn, hoàn thành trong quá khứ:

My nerghborhood is in the country in a small village.My nerghborhood surronds in a hedge of green bambos.I can see many streets,houses,tress,hills,schools,...Most of houses in the nerghbirhood are build of brick and have red tile roofs.The street is not as noisy as city. People lives in my nerghborhood are very kind and friendly.They are willing to ofter mutural help in anycase.I love my nerghborhood very much because i am bear and have grown up there and spend  my happy.

We all live in a society and are all bound to a neighborhood. Neighborhood is very important and it does definitely have an impact on what we are and how and where we live in. Unless we are happy in living in a good neighborhood, we could not get to live peacefully.

I too live in a great and wonderful neighborhood. It is very pleasant and has lot many facilities. With a good park nearby, making it the main attraction, our neighborhood also has many other added bonuses.

The grocery store is nearby which makes it easy for all residents to make an immediate purchase, we have a bus stop close by, so that people do not have to travel long for means of transportation.

The park is what makes it a lot more beautiful as it is well maintained and makes it a gathering place for all my neighbors in the evening for chit chatting and playing for kids. There is good air and we enjoy the evenings while we are at this park.

But, every neighborhood, among the good people that make it lively and great, there would some odd ones out that would spoil the entire fun. Some people in our neighborhood are very careless and untidy. They would just litter places and throw their garbage just that outside. This is really troublesome and causes lot of difficulty to the others in the neighborhood. They also behave badly and have been warned several times. Such people spoil the fun and unity in a society and make it a nuisance to everyone surrounding them.

Apart from those kinds of negative people, our neighborhood is peaceful and all others live in harmony.

In case of any kind of emergency to any resident, we all would help each other at the time of need. I have many friends in my neighborhood and we all enjoy playing in the evenings. We have celebrations for every occasions and festivals and this makes it lot more fun and enjoyment for all of us in the neighborhood. I my neighborhood and would to make changes in the negative aspects concerning us in the neighborhood.
