There is no denying that teaching is a noble profession because it broadens our knowledge, nurtures our souls and betters our lives. However, nowadays, the number of people who choose being teachers as their career, especially in secondary schools, is decreasing in many countries step by step. The purposes of this essay are to discuss the main reasons behind this phenomenon as well as to propose some solutions to remedy the real situation. To begin with, salaries paid to teachers are relatively low compared to other occupations. Needless to say, this will put a great impact on the career decisions of high-school students before they take the University entrance exams. More specifically, they may decide to secure a place in an university from which after graduating, they can apply for high-paid jobs. As a result, pedagogics will be easily ignored. The fact that in recent years, more and more students want to study at universities of economics in Vietnam is a typical example of this reality. Perhaps they do not take into account other factors when considering a career choice, but the first thing always comes into their minds is salary. Obviously, an auditor, an accountant, or a financial consultants will have higher income than a teacher. Therefore, increasing wages of this occupation may be a possible solution, so that students will have promotion to choose to become teachers in their future. Another reason is that some people cannot stand bad behaviors of pupils towards them. Today, pupils do not attach much importance to teacher’s advice and do not respect them as they did in the past. Most students say that the only duty of teachers is to teach them and they do not have right to punish them. They base their arguments on the reason that their parents pay money for teachers. Therefore, they tend to behave in a rude manner, even offend teachers when being scolded or punished. It can be said that secondary pupils are the most difficult to manage since they are not as obedient as grade-schoolers and are not as mature as high-school students. When I was in grade 8, one time my English teacher decided not to teach anymore because the class made a noise. Then some of my classmates told her directly that her teaching method was so boring that they did not want to study. As a consequence, she cried a lot and the monitor had to apologize to her. That’s why many people do not want to work as a teacher, especially in secondary school. The solution for this problem will need the cooperation of parents. They are the closest to pupils and they have to teach their children how to behave morally towards not only teachers but also the adults. In conclusion, explanations for the decrease in the number of teachers includes low salaries and disobedience of pupils. In order to resolve this problem, governments should increase teachers’ salaries. Moreover, parents should be more responsible for educating their kids, instead of depending totally on teachers and blaming them for the debauch of the children. By these ways, I believe the lack of teachers in the future can be reduced.

Education is an important and necessary field for a nation. As Uncle Ho said that whether the country is prosperous or not depends on their children's education, or for developed countries, always investing in education is the priority investment. However, today in many countries, especially in Vietnam, fewer and fewer people want to be teachers, especially in high schools. The following essay will discuss the cause of the problem and propose possible solutions to this problem. The main reason is low wages but hard work. For example, an architect's salary is three or four times the salary of a teacher. Besides an engineer will be free after working hours. While a teacher has to spend many hours preparing for the next class. In addition, a teacher must have many types of books such as lesson plans, teaching plans, tasks records, attendance records, ... Moreover, the teacher is not respected as before. To make things worse, some parents are willing to offend teachers just for defending their children. And the worst thing is that there is a large part of students who are lazy and playful. For example, they never study and do their homework before class. Furthermore, they often make a lot of noise and annoy their classmates, then they often cut classes, quarrel or even fight. Because of that, their teachers often punish them. They not only got punished, but also got poor marks for being lazy. As a result of this, they are willing to assault the teacher. To solve this problem, I can propose the following solutions: First, the government should increase teachers' salaries so that they do not waste time making extra money. Next, the record of teachers' books should be reduced. Then, the status of teachers should be enhanced by passing the law, which helps them feel secure in their work. Finally, the Government should publish a strict inspection policy for all students and strictly discipline students who are rude or regularly violating school rules. With solutions to the causes that lead to fewer and fewer people wanting to become the above-mentioned teacher. Hopefully these positive solutions will attract many people back to teaching career in the future.

There is no denying that teaching is a noble profession because it broadens our knowledge, nurtures our souls and betters our lives. However, nowadays, the number of people who choose being teachers as their career, especially in secondary schools, is decreasing in many countries step by step. Flood is one of the most dangerous disasters in the world. It’s the fact that every flood causes damage not only on property but also on people. Vietnam, the country with S-shape mainland located at Southeast Asia is affected severely by floods, especially int the middle of Viet Nam. Every year, there are about 10-15 floods coming into Viet Nam. The main reason is heavy rain with average annual rainfall from 1500-2000 mm due to its location. The influence of monsoon is also a reason that Vietnam has to be affected by storms and tropical depressions. Furthermore, being next to the sea, tides create floods in lots of regions which have poor drainage systems. Additionally, earth’ warming leads to the rising of sea level and deforestation have made the problem more serious. Floods destroy lands, paddy fields, houses, damage the facilities of middle areas. People lose their home and even lives due to floods. Although Viet Nam always support the local but it take time and right after they reconstruct their life, floods will be going to come again. To stop this, government are finding new modern solutions and giving precautions with warnings as soon as possible. I hope that in the future the Viet Nam will have a more effective solution and the locals in the middle areas will have a better life.
