Nowadays, there are a lot of elderly and they may be lonely or sick. Because of this reason, they need us to care, help and care for them more. Some people strongly believe that governments should spend more money on creating human-like robots to ease the life of the elderly. I think this is also a good idea. The robots will be programmed to help the elderly, conversing with them like a human. They can also cure the elderly. The elderly will also be able to converse with others via the robot. It's so great, right? But, my opinion isn't as same as this one. Should we spend money on creating robots? I think the governments should be spent on the elderly, not robots. First and foremost, the robots aren't the people. They are made by people, they're only artificial intelligence. So, robots can't be like humans. What is of utmost importance is the elderly need human love, not robots. Why? Because robots have no hearts and no emotions. That love can come from relatives, friends,... I think the government should spend money on activities that can help the elderly to be happier. In conclusion, I can say that although robots can cure for elderly, the government should spend money on the elderly.
