Walt Disney is famous around the world for his pioneering work in animation and creating beloved characters like Mickey Mouse. Born on December 5, 1901, in Chicago, Illinois, Disney showed an early interest in drawing and art. He attended McKinley High School in Chicago, where he took drawing and photography classes. Later, he studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts.
Disney was a very successful filmmaker who created iconic films such as "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," "Cinderella," and "Peter Pan." Apart from making films, he was also famous for founding Disneyland, the first-ever theme park, which opened in 1955.
He had four brothers and one sister. With his wife Lillian, he had two daughters, Diane and Sharon. Walt Disney died on December 15, 1966, in Burbank, California. Even after his death, The Walt Disney Studios continues to thrive, producing films, TV shows, and theme park experiences enjoyed by millions worldwide. Disney's legacy as a visionary and creator lives on to this day.
