Topic 1: My Favourite Shopping Place My favourite shopping place is Vincom Plaza in my city. It’s a big, modern shopping mall with many stores, restaurants, and entertainment areas. I love going there with my friends at the weekend. We usually shop for clothes, accessories, and sometimes cosmetics. The place is clean, well-organized, and has air-conditioning, so it’s very comfortable, especially on hot days. I also enjoy the food court – they have bubble tea, fast food, and even Korean BBQ! After shopping, we sometimes watch a movie in the cinema. Vincom is not only for shopping, but also a perfect place to hang out and relax.

Topic 2: What to Do Before, During, and After a Flood Before a flood, we should always listen to the weather forecast and prepare emergency supplies like food, water, flashlights, and a first-aid kit. We should also unplug electrical devices and move important things to higher places. During a flood, we must stay inside, avoid going out, and move to higher ground if the water rises. Never touch electrical wires or walk through deep water. After a flood, it’s important to clean everything carefully, check for damage, and avoid using wet electrical appliances. We also need to help neighbors if they are in trouble. Staying safe is the most important thing.

Topic 3: My Favourite Means of Communication My favourite means of communication is the smartphone. With just one device, I can call, text, and video chat with my family and friends anytime, anywhere. I often use apps like Messenger, Zalo, and TikTok to connect and have fun. It’s fast, easy, and very convenient. I also use my phone to check emails and do homework when I don’t have my laptop. However, I try not to use it too much, because it can be distracting. Overall, the smartphone is a great tool for communication in modern life.

Topic 4: A Planet I Like – Mars The planet I like the most in the solar system is Mars. It’s also called the "Red Planet" because of its color. Mars is very interesting because scientists believe there might have been water and life on it in the past. Many space missions have been sent to explore it. I like watching videos about Mars on YouTube and reading about NASA’s plans to send people there one day. Mars looks so mysterious and cool. Maybe in the future, people will live on Mars – and I think that would be amazing!

Question 1: Yes, I do! Shopping is fun, especially when there are big sales or discounts. It’s a great way to relax and find new things.

Question 2: I usually shop online about once or twice a month. It’s convenient and I can compare prices easily.

Question 3: I usually keep in touch with my friends through social media apps like Facebook, Zalo, or Instagram. Sometimes we also video call or meet up in person.

Question 4: Yes, I think people spend too much time on their phones. It can be distracting and sometimes makes face-to-face conversations less meaningful.

Question 5: No, I don’t think so. Robots can help with learning, but teachers give us emotions, motivation, and real-life experiences that robots can’t replace.

One natural disaster that often happens in Vietnam is flooding. It usually occurs during the rainy season, especially in the central and southern regions. Heavy rain, storms, and typhoons cause rivers to overflow and flood streets, houses, and farmland. Many people lose their homes and crops, which seriously affects their lives. Although the government and rescue teams try to help, flooding still causes a lot of damage every year. To reduce its impact, people need to be well-prepared and improve drainage systems in vulnerable areas.

Question 1: He asked the villagers how often earthquakes occurred in that region.

Question 2: They told me I could find a wide range of beauty products in their store.

Question 1: I think robots can’t replace the role of teachers in education.

Question 2: People will still send letters to each other in 2050.
