Vietnam is prone to various natural disasters, but floods are one of the most common and devastating. Heavy rainfall, storm surges, and overflowing rivers often lead to widespread flooding, especially in low-lying areas. The Red River Delta and Mekong River Delta are particularly vulnerable. Floods can cause significant damage to homes, crops, and infrastructure, displacing thousands of people. The government and local authorities often respond quickly to provide aid and relief to affected communities.
