 Problem 3:

This report describes the problem of burning dry leaves in the schoolyard and suggests three main solutions to the problem.

It is commonly witness that at many schools, a lot of dry leaves are burnt everyday. This can result in air pollution and also fires which are really dangerous and might damage the school's buildings and facilites one day. Moreover, burning dry leaves can have harmful effect on students and teachers health. The smoke from burning leaves contains a number of toxic and irritating particles and gases. The tiny particles contained in smoke from burning leaves can accumulate in the lungs and increase the risk of respiratory infection, coughing, wheezing, chest pain and shortness of breath.

To solve this problem, we propose the following solutions. First, we suggest that the school can turn those dry leaves into compost and use for gardening and planting more trees instead of burning them. Not only can this reduce air pollution, but there will also be a beautiful garden at school that is planted with that compost. Second, we suggest that we make use of dry leaves in crafts projects such as making decorative items or painting pictures with unique materials. Third, the Youth Union should hold regular sessions to teach students how to recycle properly.

These measures will help promote a greener lifestyle among teachers and students at school. Therefore, we recommned you put the suggested solutions intio practice as soon as possible.
