Save the Elephants (STE) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1993 by lain Douglas-Hamilton. Its primary aim is to ensure the survival of elephants by preventing their extinction and protecting their habitats. STE works to stop the illegal hunting of elephants, particularly in Africa and Asia. A key part of their work involves collaborating with scientists and experts to conduct research on elephant behavior, furthering understanding and conservation efforts. The organization also actively raises public awareness about elephant conservation through films, television, and other media sources.

To date, STE has supported 335 projects in 40 countries, demonstrating its significant global impact on elephant conservation.
